WONDERFUL!! I first saw John Corbin performing at Silver Dollar City in the early '80s. He was a master of the hammered dulcimer, an instrument I had never seen before. My friend and I were mesmerized by his beautiful music and spent a great deal of our time taking it in. Dressed in his black slacks and vest, white dress shirt and black bowler, he fit right in at Silver Dollar City. We purchased two of his albums that day - Fragments and Regina. We couldn't wait to play them after returning back home. Those albums have been played over and over again and again and always take us back to our glorious time spent watching John performing for his appreciative audiences. I only wish they were available in CD as well. 💖

My family visited Silver Dollar City while he was performing at a folk music event there - my 5-year-old daughter told me she thought that the angels probably played the hammered dulcimer. The music was fantastic - I had never heard of the instrument before that day!

Appreciate so much that you captured this 2004 video of PMRR at Silver Dollar City in Branson. Jerry Butler had just come with the band here as lead vocals. Members were former Blue Grass Boy, Michael Fagan, fiddle; Matt DeSpain, resonator guitar; Kipper Stitt, banjo; Cody Shuler, mandolin; Jerry Butler, guitar, and yours truly, bass. Would appreciate having a copy of this outside of KZread if possible.Bill McBee

I can't believe this only has 500 views, a man of this talent should have millions! I just realised how far I got to go on harp......Damn, that's good Wood! By the way the correct spelling of his name is Wailin Wood, so if you correct the title ya might get a few more hits, just saying.

When I went on this. (Here's my story) we were waiting in lime for an hour wondering what the heck happened and we finally were told that there was a log that had a hole in it and it almost dunk the people in it. So we get on finally and my 7 her old sister gets in the font of it and we realize that the one that got over filled with water had just got the water out of it and put back in the ride. She noticed there was a hole and she told us and she covored it with her foot. I was scared it was going to sink but it didn't

Yes, he is... he is on Facebook... I saw him at the Columbus Ohio Buckeye Harmonica Festival years ago... he is amazing... bought both of his CDs. I sent him an email asking him about the song keys and harmonica keys that he used on the CDs... he was kind enough to call me on the phone to answer my questions... what a great guy and musician !
