Oke.. so now we know what's going on with these goggles.. my issues are.. the fog up.. I usually get only 1 green channel the rest is usually all orange. Sometime times wierd collared stripes on my screen when booting up.. I think I'm going to ship my goggles back to walksnail for repair.. only 4 mounth old.

@@salt4yapepper yes i upgrade heatsink plate and apply thin layer of thermal past if you apply thick layer of thermal past then problem don't fixed. Applied thin layer of thermal past and upgraded heatsink plate problem will be fixed.

the cooling also seems lacking for eyes, its only that little bottom fan that sucks the air through the wents into the googles and out of the bottom or?

Just got mine and the little exhaust fan is making noise like a wire or soemthingnis touching it. So pissed. Definitely sending back. Not worth disassembly effort for brand new goggles.

Quick update, for anyone who might see this and be turned off from promising new tech outside of the evil DJI CORP. lol. My goggles are getting replaced and apparently the new heatsink will be pre installed along with latest firmware. So that's a good sign from Caddx. I'm willing to be patient since this is new tech and offered at such a reasonable price. Cheers

I have the same problem but mine was both buttons. I do not need to replace the board or encoders to fix it. I sprayed electronis cleaner directly over the encoder and press them repeatedly. Repeat a few times, re-assembled and both buttons work perfectly

Stop flying with your head down lol btw i put the newbee drone thic foam from dji goggles 2 on it n awesome fit the one without the nose piece fit me great i honestly like the fit better than dji g2 oh n fat strap made big difference in holding it up n taking weight off the nose

Looks like in share mode the VTX on the quad is transmitting to both the Goggles and VRX but only doing error correction (bad frame retransmissions) for the Goggles. However the Goggles seem to have better omni-directional reception than the VRX hence why we see the VRX dropping frames like crazy when you fly behind yourself. Still nice to get your thoughts on the system.

In the goggle menu navigate to Setting page and change Frame Rate to high. That puts it at 100fps.

These are quite well built and not to hard to work on. After the AC power supply mine failed - the charger still worked from DC - I replaced it with a slightly higher power one in the same size from CUI sold by Digikey. The problematic rotary encoder works a bit better after quickly spinning it in both directions for a while, probably by cleaning the contacts a bit.

Ha! Well, this was to test the RGB LED strip, mostly. I just wanted to see how it would affect the flight time and if the bluetooth interfered with the rx. I've already tested the prop guards pretty extensively. Haven't damaged one yet!

Sometimes after crashes or if the vtx gets hot (above 70 celsius) i also get that up and down jittering with my orqa fpv one pilots and rapidfire module but it goes away after i repower the goggles or the vtx, really strange.. but i had the sky04x with the stock module and the sky04x had this up down jitter issue all the time.
