After writing music for 10 years, Charlotte Campbell's career really began when she found herself on London's Southbank, guitar in hand and a case full of change. She found a stage there and an audience. She has captured the hearts of tourists and Londoners with her sweet vocals and thoughtful lyrics. Through glorious summers and bitterly cold winters Charlotte sings her favourite cover songs as well as performing her own original music.
Charlotte's growing fan base have helped her fund her first and second albums through crowdfunding campaigns. Making Waves is now available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and shaped like a shiny mirror made of plastic.
"She takes to the microphone, chirrups a smily greeting to passers-by and launches into a series of soulful, husky-voiced reworkings of chart hits. It’s a lovely experience: all smiles and chirpy ditties" - Time Out London

love your music. You brighten things up. It's a shame I don't go to London much anymore, living on the outskirts now .
So cool hun 😊❤
Thank you :) xx
"Thanks for watching this, thanks for watching that, thanks for watching everything", sounds like a good song lyric!
haha thank you!
I understand why you become so nervous about interviews but I feel you always come across as lovely and passionate. I loved the episode and loved your bit of it as well, It looked like a long but wonderful day. Congratulation for being part of it, I hope it brings you a lot of new fans. ❤❤❤
Thank you Mark! I'm so glad you think so! xxx
Sounds like a really fun day 🙂
It really was :D
I loved it when you said chuffed when you're on about trains on the underground. I loved your feature on the show and I was singing along with you
ahaha I didn't even clock that!!! good spot! Thank you Graham! xxx
I’m here because of Secrets of the London Underground😊
That's awesome! Thank you for finding me here!
Ace love this song special
Thank you!
Beautiful
Thnak you <3
If you don’t like hospital stuff don’t look at the rest but even if you are, you’re probably gonna look anyway LOL I wouldn’t be able to help myself if I was That sounds tough I fractured my wrist and it came out of place it felt like forever especially when they where putting it back into place 😢 hope you feel better soon
2024 and the inverter and battery are now in one inexpensive power station. No soldering. Today’s tech is better!
Very much agree! I'm set in my ways but if I was buying now I probably wouldn't use this technique I must admit!
Asco
Thanks for the helpful advice!!...the ONLY problem i had with the video was that you were talking way too fast?
Haha ok? I don’t know what you expect me to do about that on a video that is 4 years old? 😂 put it in slow mo if you are struggling to understand. That’s just the way I speak.
I had a downstairs neighbour who complained about me moving furniture at night. I was on the sofa watching a movie ... with headphones. At some point he started banging on the ceiling and screaming. I had to move anyway but I do not envy the person who lives there now.
This sounds SO similar to our situation!!! I was really worried we were being loud and antisocial, but when she complained about us while we were about 200 miles away for the weekend!!! We just had to get out of there and I do pity whoever moves into that flat after us! Hope you're happier where you are now! x
@@ccampbellmusic Yeah, I was kind of worried about being up too late, but it's my right. I think he just hated me. I'm even more upstairs now, never had a problem.
That was great
Thank you!
Anyone played with Izettle in France ? Do French easily pay this way ?
I’m not 100% sure but I think it doesn’t work outside of the UK!
Awesome! Were you the best dressed Swiftie? Was anyone else there in the same outfit as you?
Hahaha I was not the best dressed I don’t think - there was a lot of competition for that ahha! And I met someone else dressed as the same thing as me on night 2!!!
I can't believe how close you were! I hope standing tickets aren't so expensive for her next tour and I manage to get a ticket!
I can’t believe it either! I never thought I’d get that close!!! I hope she tours again, part of me feels like this is a farewell tour 🥲
@@ccampbellmusic me too since I missed out this time. I kind of agree tbh, she seems so happy with Travis Kelce and she's always said that she wanted to marry and have a family... She's also said that she can't live without song-writing though so I bet if she decided to take a few years off to have a family, she could do that and come back 🙂
I love your version of this song
Thank you ❤️
Nice. If you want a decidedly different approach to this song, give a listen to The Dead South's version, it will change how you see this song.
So sorry to hear about your granny Pat. She'll send you a robin to tell you she's ok and with your grandpa. Love to you and your mum xx
Thanks Rob ❤
What a beautiful version. I hope that you are getting to enjoy the sunshine Charlotte❤
Thank you Mark
❤❤❤
Beautiful Thanks my little songbird ❤❤
❤😊
We all become absent in body, eventually. It's good to grieve, but it's just a change we all must make. All it takes is a thought, and she's right there, with you. Soon enough, you'll be together once again and laugh that there was any thought otherwise. Enjoyed! Thanks for taking the time to create and share this. ❤🩹
❤
Sending you lots for love. Really sorry to hear about your grandmother. ❤
Thanks Tom ❤️
Hi Charlotte, you really are a ray of sunshine. You sang beautifully but there is sadness in your eyes. So sorry you lost your nanna. Please write a song in her memory. I would love to hear it. Wishing you all the best and hoping you feel better soon. x
Thanks so much ❤
Thanks for sharing a positive story. Was feeling very down over my ankle. This does give some hope.
I just broke my ankle, one week out from the surgery. I’m so young, 21 but really small and not active at the gym or anything. I’m so nervous because I still have 5 weeks of non weight bearing and. Would love to hear it gets better and I’ll be back to normal soon
It really does get better! You're going to be back to normal before you know it so hang in there! I'd advise taking calcium tablets if you can and I took multivitamin gummies to keep you strong. But at 21, your body will bounce back so quickly and this time next year you won't even remember that you broke it! Sending love, healing thoughts and so much assurance that better times are coming, be patient and try and rest when you can. Your bones are healing when you sleep, so sleep often xxx
Absolutely here because I’m contemplating dyeing a dress that I purchased on Vinted that was supposed to be in ‘very good condition’ but arrived with a couple of dark stains on😭 Also, for future dye-sessions: If the label is still in the dress, it will tell you what the material is 😅 Came out fabulous though!
Ohhh that's the worst that it came with stains on it but at least you have the option to dye it ! I can't recommend it enough. I recently dyed a bunch of white t shirts that had sun cream stains on them, they look so good in black and the dye worked a treat! Its my new way of life!
Had 6 week followup of my tibia fracture. Doctor took me off the boot and gave me an ankle brace. Feels weird when I’m puttin weight on it and im walking gingerly with a good amount of pressure when i step on my heel. Im hoping I can walk semi normally in 5 weeks before my trip 😢
Congrats on being out of the boot! It feels so weird putting weight on it when you haven't in so long but you'll get used to it and wishing you happy healing before your trip!
Omd Hii ❤ I’m also one of the people who you sand with!! You are so good at singing, carry on with your amazing career!! x ❤
Ahhh hiii! Thank you so much for singing along 🙏🏼💕🎶
Been busking about 8 years, playing violin and other instruments 69 years and am 75. Been through similar changes. Funny stories, hah? I use a power wheelchair and modified the back of it to hold my Roland Street Cube. Then drape a heavy duty bag to hold the Roland Speaker and cords, pedals etc. Use a RockPals generator 250 watt because my speaker runs out too quickly. Getting ready to snake my pedals together with portable 5-pedal input battery bank. QUESTION: You said your amp doesn't have reverb? I think the reverb on my Cube Street is just fine. Whatssup? Keep up the great work, you get an A+ from an old teacher. University of California, 1981 With blessings and love from Patricia to a beautiful and gifted young Brit. ❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much, lovely to hear about your set up and thanks for the words of encouragement! Sending lots of love from london!
Oh yes! This is the video I predicted!
haha you did indeed!
Hii , I know you I was one of the girls at the school that was dancing and singing with you next to the London eye with the Texas lady x and you were singing Olivia rodrigo and Taylor swift x
You all made my day when you were singing along and requesting songs! Thank you so much!
@@ccampbellmusic you are welcome
Love your inflection.
the last one testifies to your swifty expertise haha 😅 the black one looks great, too. And huge respect for trying out double tights, I'm wondering if it was comfy at all
haha yeah the double tights was surprisingly comfy, very cosy and warm and luckily not too tight. But I always get my tights in a larger size so they are comfortable, and this helped a lot in this scenario!
The sparkly black is my favorite but the last is a dead ringer for matching Taylor. I hope you all have a wonderful/ warm night.
Thanks so much Mark!
Def the t-shirts and black jacket outfit. As for what order to where them in you will know on which night suits your mood that day.
Thanks Shelly!
Hi! I'm kinda surprised to find your channel again. I remember going to London in 2016. I was 15 back in time and I was walking with my brother along the London Eye. We saw you singing and stared at your talent for a while. We got your social medias from here, and, to be honest, we checked from time to time. It turns out I went to the Eras Tour more than a week ago. It's not that deep, but it really reminded me my trip in London and how fascinating you were singing there, pretty late in the afternoon. Thanks for bringing this memory back to me and I hope you'll have the time of your life fighting dragons with her!! Kisses from France :)
Thanks for the lovely comment, so nice to hear that I'm part of your memory of London from so many years ago! I hope you had an amazing time at Eras Tour and if you're coming back to London some time then come and find me singing by the river again! Lots of love from london xxx
The black outfit

Taylor Swift knows Paul McCartney. Know of anyone else who knows Paul McCartney? If I know Charlotte Campbell like Charlotte Campbell knows Taylor Swift, I reckon the next video will be about what Charlotte is going to wear to the gig... Have a great time!
Everybody knows Paul these days ;)
I love the tote bag. Not envious at all so looking forward to seeing all your photos & videos ❤
Thank youuu I love the tote bag too!
Enjoy Liverpool Charlotte! Hope something exciting happens at the gig! 😊
Thanks Hannah!
@@ccampbellmusic You're welcome. It would be great if you did a video about the gig afterwards 🙂
