Olá vejo que você tem vandas , com poucas raizes porém com hastes florais , o que faz pra dar hastes florais , com tão pouca raizes?
Only one vanda ( jairak blackjack) has a poorly root system. The other two have actually quite extensive roots buried into the media they grow in. As for blackjack I really don't know how this vanda managed to send such a fat flower spike. She's quite dehydrated. Could be that she's dying to it's her last attempt to reproduce
E pode ser , nossa amiga tenho Vanda tenho 5 vandas lindas porém que mudei de adulbo e quase perdir são 5 unidades perderam a raizes agora estou lutando pra recuperar dificil
Ty for the info. Would Cymbidium bicolor mature it's growth for 2 years as well? (Asking cause it was said to be warm grower when I bought it).
@@SirtsRohutirts I don't have an experience with cymbidium bicolour but from what I have read cymbidium bicolor is native to China and Myanmar, where it grows in forests and grasslands at high altitudes. It thrives in cool, temperate climates and can be found growing in regions with an average annual temperature of 12-18°C. It prefers well-draining, nutrient-rich soil and can tolerate a range of light conditions, from partial shade to full sun. A lot of info on the Internet suggests its a warm growing orchid but I guess you have to look at where it comes from in nature
But am already a fern of you. 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Really beautiful.
Thank you 💚
That is a pretty one!
Thank you! 💚 It really is a gorgeous girl 😊
......just my opinion....but ...names are not that important with phalaenopsis,... if its beautiful its worth having in my collection.....I not only see your beautiful orchid with gorgeous blooms....but beautiful stacked up leaves, and roots like a small tree....a sign of great care......well done.
Thank you Rick 💚. I agree ID with phals aren't that important as long as they are beautiful and easy to care for 🙂
......you are such a pleasure to listen to....your information is excellent, and even better, its based on facts...... and the photos to go along with it say alot.....Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much Rick for your kind words 💚🙂
nice video👍
Thank you 🙂💚
......what a delicate beauty!....
It really is! Flowers are pretty small but they are gorgeous. Crispy white and orange really goes well together
Hi Pasha, thanks for sharing your experience and care tips for growing cymbidiums. Would you be able to do a more in depth growing and blooming the species cymbidiums ? Thanks and happy growing 😊
Hi Mary Of course I will 🙂. It will be in the next weeks video 🙂. Thank you for watching 🙂
In italiano per favore
I am sorry but I don't speak Italian. Please use auto-translate function
"My last haul.... for a long while" said every plant mom in the world. once a plant mom always a plant mom.
I will do my best to last as long as I can 🙂
Great update, your orchids grow well despite being transported in February. Looking forward to seeing your arideas bloom! They grow well in the pot but whenever I pot them up , their roots rot! Thanks for sharing and happy growing 😊
Thank you Mary! I love aerides but sometimes it's can be a bit fussy. I have houlletiana about 3 years ago and it was indestructible.... well till my pup decided to treat it as a toy.... now he's a bog mature dog and doesn't touch my plants so here is a hope for me that I will see those gorgeous blooms again 😂😂
Nice haul😊. That first Vanda is big! Good luck with no new orchids for a while, it's tough isn't it😂
Thank you! 🙂 yes I will need a lot of luck!! 😂😂 and self-control 😂😂😂
Beautiful Vandaag, they look very happy. Are you growing them under lights? I'd like to try that Seidenfadiana mitrata, I hope it recovers for you
Thank you! Yes I grow vandas under lights. Seidenfadenia is a real challenge for me! But I have seen it in other people's collections and flowering as well so I am not ready to give up just yet! 🙂
You got lovely neofenitia collection, love those blooms, thanks for sharing. How do you bloom them? Do you keep them under grow light? What about watering?
Thank you Mary 💚. They grow on my South West windowsill in the bathroom. They get plenty of water, humidity and light in the summer. In the winter when temperatures drop I reduce watering to the minimum. They need dry, cool rest to flower
Beautiful blooms, I can’t wait for mine to reach maturity!
Thank you! The fragrance is beautiful 😍
....what a beauty.....can hear the excitment in your voice......I have had many Phals,.. that had no fragrance inside at all.....,,,but when placed outside, and were exposed to warmer temps.....started releasing fragrance......such a vibrant flower on that one.
Beautiful aglonemas. I got one baby aglonema and I love it! Thanks for sharing and good luck with them.
.......beautiful Phal......I love the petal color variation on the flowers, very unique.......I agree many of the phals love a bit brighter light......
Thank you! I do love the random colour placement on flowers 🙂. They are so unique!
......wow...what beautiful plants......the colors are amazing........and I could still hear you speaking just fine......while listening to you describing the colors...... you could hear the excitment in your voice......wonderful additions.
Thank you Rick! Aglaonemas are my most favourite tropical plants ( after orchids of course 😀). They are very easy to grow and so beautiful!
Very beautiful blooms! I like the white petals amongst purple! Thanks for sharing and happy growing 😊
Thank you Mary! This one is one of my many favourites for sure 🙂
Nice😊. I had one very similar but unfortunately it succumbed to spider mites
Thank you! Aww that's such a shame! Hopefully you can replace it soon!
.....a great addition to your collection.....and I enjoyed the heartbreaking story you told....I'm sure it will thrive in your care... ..your correct about looking different .....the Iwanagara that I had was more cattleya looking with taller bulbs
Thank you Rick! 💚 the other iwanagara in my collection has got that cattleya look with taller pseudobulbs... a lot taller pseudobulbs! Must be just a cultivar difference
Very cute and healthy orchid, thanks for sharing. Are you intending to grow this with organic media or transfer to semihydro?
Thank you Mary! 💚 I will grow it in the bark for now and might transfer into lava rocks later on
Looks like a nice one, though I haven't seen it before. Might be easier to identify when in bloom
I think so too. Fingers crossed she will give me flowers! I am trying my hardest not to get excited 😂
She is one of the cutest 😊
Thank you! 🙂💚
Beautiful, that's a nice clone😊. I love the lip.
Thank you 💚. Yes the fuzzy lip is absolutely gorgeous 😊
Beautiful blooms, love the shape and colours! Fragrance is icing on cake! So good to have phalaenopsis with Fragrance. Thanks for sharing and happy growing 😊
Thank you 💚 I wasn't expecting such a nice fragrance! Definitely a keeper! 😊
......I agree with Nina....excellent work!.....its amazing how well and how fast they grow when fed correctly.
Thank you Rick! 🙂💚
Its a wonderful.side effect of a tolumnia that is happy 😊
Thank you! 🙂💚 I have been closely following Eds ( from Eds Orchids) directions in relation to the feed. And it really is working! Not only on orchids but also on other tropical plants 🙂
oh man, a variegated maxi?! we said we weren't gonna buy more orchids this year, but you have me rethinking that!!
Highly recommend getting this one! Thank you for watching 💚
@@gardenfullofcolour thanks for sharing! we looked and can't see a variegated variety in our region... alas, we will put it on the list!
This is a beautiful maxillaria!! Variegated pseudobulbs as well!! Wow! I love it 😍yes, this one is truly special!! Thank you for sharing 🥰
Thank you 🙂💚
......you have a wonderful channel......Iwanagara is such a beautiful orchid....yours has fat healthy bulbs.....congrats on your blooms....great work!........as Justin said below.....calcium is great for keeping scale away......
Thank you Rick! 🙂 I am over the moon with this orchid! Specially that it's such a rarity in the UK and Europe!
That looks nice, I hope it will not take long to bloom for you!
Thank you 💚. Fingers crossed not too long 🙂
Great un-boxing! Yes you are due for a big unboxing but this one is very healthy and quite nice too. I like cymbidiums and trying to find fragrant ones. Thanks for sharing and happy growing.
Thank you Mary 💚. The most beautiful fragrant cymbidiums are the Chinese cymbidiums like ensifolium. Some also have beautifully variegated foliage. But I find them harder to grow
Lovely video and phal party! I love the tetraspis blue, can't wait for the blooms! Your last one is so beautiful and cute. Thanks for and happy growing 😊
Very nice collection of paths! Multiflora paths are my favourite too! Your mottled leaves are beautiful too! Do you grow them all in bark or different media?
Thank you Mary. It depends on the paph and the size of it. More mature ones are in bigger bark, seedlings in smaller with the addition of perlite. I forgot to mention micrantum has a little bit of limestone added as well
Your bloom is gorgeous! It would be a magnificent show when all the buds open. I never had one but would like one if I find a good plant. Thanks for sharing and happy growing 😂
Thank you 💚. I would love more iwanagaras as they are all different really.... I know that they are very popular in the states but so hard to find in the UK! I might look into importing ....
Totally agree, one can not have enough of Iwanagaras, I have four and love every single one of them. What media is yours potted in ?
It's lava rocks. I find they grow the best in it. I am still on a lookout for more iwanagara. Particularly the yellow one 😍
Congrats on flowering this one, persistence paid off😊. How did you get rid of the scale?
Thank you! I didnt get rid of scale. The other two iwanagaras succumbed to it. This one was kept in a totally different room so never got infested.... shame as I over the other ones. Specially my yellow
@@gardenfullofcolour Ah that's too bad. If you are watering with RO or rainwater, I think that something like Calmag might be useful to help prevent scale and other infestations.
Great unboxing! The vanda is very healthy and hopefully will bloom for you with the spike. I bough my vanda lamellata with a tiny spike and it grew and bloomed , so be hopeful. Thanks for sharing and happy growing,
Thank you Mary 💚 Fingers crossed the spike continues to grow 🙂
Beautiful paphs😍. Looks like your Michael Koopowitz might bloom soon.
Thank you! 😊 Fingers crossed! 🙂
Beautiful and very healthy! love it!
Love the the phal tetraspis blue gray! 😍 Do you mind to share where you buy them online? Thank you in advance!
Thank you! Most of my purchases are from ebay 😊
Gorgeous little hoya! So cute! Thanks for sharing and happy growing 😊
Thank you Mary 💚
👍😀🌹
Beautiful variegated leaves 😊
Thank you 💚
Love this video, good information and I love the accent. Where are you from? Ive done pretty good with these except the ones that have the redder leaves
