She was definitely at her vocal peak during this era. The family stand not only understood her voice but they pushed her in new directions and made her sound fantastic.

All you need to own to get this rare instrumental version is the Bobby Brown Album titled Don't Be Cruel and the regular 7" single that isn't a promo of Don't Be Cruel by Bobby Brown or its Cassingle (Cassette Single). They can easily be remixed and edited together. The optional part is having a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A computer for the authentic beeps at the Thirty-Four seconds line being played on this video.

It's not so much different then final product she just have few changed and adding more instrumentation. I didn't recognize the sample of ''Jungle Boogie'', unlike the ''Erotica'' who you easy hear that sample in the arrangements (just the horn was very evident unlike ''You Want This'').
@WCD19931710 ай бұрын
The demo was very less danced and more raw then the final product, but the two turned very in the RnB at the two. But the fact that demo vocal was used for the final product with just few minors changes at the end. This song was a love letter to her husband René Elizondo.
@WCD19931710 ай бұрын
Jimmy Jam told the string arrangements was at the suggestion of Janet and she wanted the ending to put a lot this feeling. Like they hear in this demo, not a lot of difference between this and the final product outside the bass was reworked in a more soft sound to fit and also the raining sound during the intro and the outro.
@WCD19931710 ай бұрын
Some parts of the demo, particulary sound too much like the aggressive sound in ''Rhythm Nation 1814'' and Janet wanted to distanced from the industrial sound of her two past albums and she wanted a more lighthing sound for this. Compared to the demo, the final product removed all the industrial sound that you already hear in the ''Rhythm Nation 1814'' era songs and was very smooth RnB.
