I have probably a dumb question but at the beginning of the video there is still picture of the completed install from straight on. It looks like the drivers side shock drops down about 3/4 of an inch (leaning). I have the same kit and mine does that as well. I though I must have a bent frame or bulkhead. Just wondering of you noticed it and if three was any to make it even?

Just got back a few days ago from my first Florence trip same spot drift wood camp as this video, In all honesty that area of riding is hella dangerous its like stepping into a war zone covered in boobie traps I personally left after 3 days instead of staying the full 6 days after seeing 3 diff people going to the hospital after launching thems selves off a blind drop off or riding right into a blown out bowl. Winchester is way more enjoyable and visibly safer to ride.

You can install them without removing the front plastics, i just did mine that way. And also put the lower bolts the other way, the nut on the strap side it's easier in case you want to take it apart later.

Which one of the 3 places down there do people tend to like more in a capable UTV like a X3? Florence, Winchester, Coosbay and for what reasons? Anyone run the SS360HP tires down there? Are they enough or do they struggle in certain places?

One of our riding buddies is dead set on getting those for his new 22 can am when it comes in. Honestly it’s nice to ride all of them to keep things fresh. I like Winchester for the big hills. And coosbay for the trails

@@MixinGasGarage I am convinced those SS360s are the "Right Tire" for me...but several experienced people have told me they used them and said they are not that great VS more standard selections like the tribute and blackbird combo here. And its not like I can try before I buy...have to ask and hope my interpretation from feedback leads me in the correct direction. You still rocking the Bighorns? I have heavy 32" Kanati Mongrels (fantastic in the sharp scree and mild mud ), and even those go pretty good in sand in 4WD with low pressure TBH. Still want an optimized set of paddles for Oregon sand though!

@@MixinGasGarage Only spent time at Coos for UTV Takover, really hoping to try Winchester, friend told me they have much taller steeper peeky dunes there? Still struggling to understand what a defining characteristic of Florence is? Sand lake is close but pretty small for a fast UTV it seems like.

@@101rotarypower Florence is wide open in a lot of it. Good size hills. Tons of drop offs. It’s fun to ride but its better on a quad IMO.

If you’re at the siltcoose side of Florence and you head west. You will kinda hit the outer edge of where you can ride. Then you head south where you find trees and one of the trails will bring you back

Your straps will stretch and I rather give up a 1/4-1" of travel vs replacing a new shock that gets gutted due to the suspension at full sag. I highly doubt you'll notice any "loss"
