Great finds! When I first saw the top of a curtain I immediately thought of a pen holder on the hanging off the side of the journal on the back page

When you cut the fall runner, you can slide a cardboard in between the outside fabric and the red to "firm" up the cover. Nice finds!

Hi Wendy! Lovely thrift finds. I especially like the ticking with the white lining. It brought to mind something I saw a long time ago. Someone made cutains from blue ticking and added a border of white fabric that they hand painted with flowers in a meadow of grass. Very "summery". If you kept the lining intact, one could use fabric paints on the inside cover and also do some painting on the ticking cover to coordinate. Just a thought and I would only do it for a very special journal that would be handed down through the family. Still loving the Tim Holtz journal. I loved the window layout. Enjoy the rest of summer, Wendy! Stay well!

Hi Wendy!! I've been gone on a 2 month road trip through Idaho and Montana. So much I've missed from your videos!! Love what you've done in this beautiful journal. We used to have a Value Village thrift store, but they closed a couple of years ago. Love what you found. 💜

Lovely finds at the Thrift Store. What a beautiful table runner. Will make a lovely cover, for sure. The big thrift store here in the states, at least in my area, is called Savers. Love how you used the building and travel postcards for the map page. Looks really nice. TY for sharing.

Does your paper cutter blade ever have to sharpened? I have a slider cutter and I am luck to cut 20 pages of card stock before it starts to mess the edges of the paper up.
