Ok, so this channel has taken a different turn. It won't be just track days and drive video but will be an all encompassing look into my cars and the maintenance and modifications that happen with them. There will still be track day videos though, hopefully soon. So, ya know, like and subscribe and stick around while I get things going.

Great vid 👍🏾Keep the em coming ✌🏾😊👍🏾. I’m a LubriMoly fan as well😊
Here in Germany we use Ravenol
She is a Diva, but don't us men love diva's :-) You forgot to mention the LSD.
Thanks for the video! I saved it for my diy service in my M3 with 128k miles. What mileage did you do the oil filter housing gasket?
You're welcome! Mine started leaking a little bit at 140k and I finally replaced it at 145K when it really started leaking. It's not a bad job at all, just a ton of stuff to take off.
Great vid, to the point!
Just did this over the weekend didn’t see this vid existed prior!!
@@benclement7569 More how to videos on the way. Anything specific you’d like to see?
@@robdrivesslow from the looks of it without watching any other vids so far I would recommend a vid on the PS reservoir replacement, the green chf label usually means its original. Also valve covers look like they need replacing so an nrw valve cover fitting video would be cool along with the replacement vanos caps
Nice work buddy..keep it up❤
Enjoying your content. Have you done anything with the iDrive? I have CIC and am considering a Mr12volt CarPlay unit. Getting my valve covers next, NRW in yellow 😅. Are you in socal? Yes it is worth it, to me! Smiles per gallon 😂 mine is: 2011 E93 Alpine with extended Fox red 😁
Yep, one of the many (kind of) e9x M3s running around SoCal. I’ve definitely looked into putting a CarPlay unit in but I have other plans for this car that I’ll discuss in a video soon. NRW valve covers are awesome, yellow will look great too, a nice little pop of color in an otherwise dark engine bay. Also, I’m a bit jealous of the fox red interior, haha.
Man, the "old BMW" dilemna... Save some money and buy a used BMW, then pay thousands to get it up to spec, OR... Spend thousands more for a lower mileage example! (I guess this is why buying a well-cared for high mileage BMW is a better idea, or just buying a low-mileage Corvette for the same money, we know what I did!) In any case, it's nice for prospective owners to know what they're in for with these M3s.
Yeah, even though I had a stack of service records from the previous owner, I still ended up with plenty of maintenance. I’m always questioning my decision to buy the M3 over a C6. I think even a higher mileage c6 would’ve cost me less in maintenance.
lol that 8400 redline is always worth mentioning 😂. Great video!!
Thanks! And yeah, always have to mention the redline and the v8 lol
Thanks for this video, bought all the parts for this and never got around to it since the leak wasn't too bad. What did you use to clean the mating surfaces?
Brake cleaner and paper towels, they don’t leave behind any lint. The residue from the old gasket comes off with a little scrubbing.
Really appreciate the time and effort. Thank you for uploading the video. off to check out part two.
looking forward to part 2 here as well
I'll have part two posted tomorrow, things for busy and I just spaced on it.
