First it was from Izuku to All Might, and now with thi last events of the manga it goes back from All Might to Izuku I was just an only child of the universe, and then i found you; you are the sun and i am just the planets, spinning around you For Izuku: He was lonely and isolated, hopeless even because he had no quirk. All Might was for him like a sun that, even though he knew he was quirkless, he could not help being bedazzled by; forgetting the impossibleness of his situation, ending up following him every time he is present somewhere and saves lives, in a sense turning around him without being able to stop. For All Might: He was always at the top carrying a heavy burden unbeknownst to anyone, he had to be the symbol of peace and was not allowed to ever fall. Izuku as his sucsessor became the first person that would know his secret and accepted his spirit. He was willing to carry the burden Sir Nighteye could not. Later on when deku got stronger and became vigilant All Might did the same for him; following him everywhere and running afer him not stopping, even though he was no longer able to keep up with him. You were to good to be true, gold plated; but whats inside you Again, while everyone -sometimes even themselves- only looked at their flawless side, they bothered to look further and noticed eachothers well hidden cracks. Izuku was in absolute awe of Might. He saw beyond what his statues in the cities symbolized Might saw how much help he needded when Izuku himself was blinded by being "the only one that can face AFO" I know this whole damn city thinks it needs you but not as much as i do For Izuku this sentence was most meaningful when Might fought against AFO. For Might this sentence was most meaningful when Izuku left without accepting the bento box; isolated himself from any kind of help and only had protecting everyone else in mind. Cause you're the last of a dying breed, write our names in the wet concrete Both are, especially Izuku is one of the last people that are quirkless, and the last wielders of OFA. They are both legendary heroes with idealistic spirit; that through hard work and continuously proving themselves, actually even slowly destroying (and potentially killing themselves in the process); forever engraved themselves into the memories of the people. Im here in search of your glory, there's been a million before me Izuku was in search of all mights glory, he wanted to be a hero like him and so did millions of people before him. He is setting his eye to do everything that could lift even a small portion of it which also brings us to the following WARNING MANGA SPOILER AHEAD FROM THIS POINT !! (of chapter 386) I will shield you from the waves if they find you. I will protect you Just tell me that i am the only one, even if it's not true Im sure this is clear to everyone from Izuku's perspective. This would connect directly to Sir Nighteye's ark for him. He learned that he was not the one supposed to get the quirk, that All Might was destined to get killed cruelly because of that. He then decided to change the fate and also made All Might promise that he would live. In the latest chapter of the manga we finally reached the point of Sir Nighteye's prediction. Izuku is fighting Shigaraki and AFO is trying to reach him. All the heroes are either defeated, dealing with other threats or too far away so there is no one to stop him. All Might is the only one to step in as a last effort to prevent AFO from reaching Izuku. You could argue that this is more about saving the world rather than helping Izuku, but in this situation the two are the same thing. And this is a heavy topic between them since All Might promised that he would live. Like Armin burning himself to crisp after having promised Eren he would escape if it got too hot; if All Might dies, it will be a tragedy. I'm here at the beginning of the end, the end of infinity with you I'm done with having dreams, the thing that I believe Oh, you drain all the fear from me This last part fits the first episode, the end of All Might was the beginning for Deku. It also fits the episode of the promise. Both Izuku and Might lost their hope and dreams in those episodes, but later were inspired and convinced to keep holding onto them. It could potentially fit the chapters following from now if one of them or both end up dying. Now, someone tell me why i am writing an analysis which people probably wont bother to read, to a song in context of a complete irrelevant series to it, that under an AMV that was posted 5 years ago, and that at 3:50 in the friggin morning.
