Oooo i love the paper heads up! Sounds so simple but allows us to have a good rummage and play with paper beforehand
@@thecraftywitch510 awesome!! Thanks so much!! 🥰💕
I made the lighthouse and lighthouse keepers hut as my first projects. I made four of them and then I made the church. I made the church in two sizes 75 and 100% and I made two of the 75% ones so I was very much a beginner so I would say yes if you are beginner, you can make the church. Of course, I am very computer savvy and knew how to manipulate files and use Design Space.
Why you don’t share the svg to print it out I’m new haha
How did you add the piece around the bottom of the teacup? It looks yellowish in the photo. I bought the cut file but I don’t see an option in there to have that on the teacup.
cool.
Beautiful project. As a beginner this video is very difficult to follow. I wish it was done in a step by step way..
What paper do you use for these?
OMG! I’m glad to see somebody else crafts barefooted. I think I’m gonna make one of these as a gift box. It’s adorable. You’re adorable. Love the new very personal keep them coming.
First, may I just say thank you for all of your wonderful designs. I just finished making the maple Manor. And I used all glue just like you did. By all glue I mean, even the designer paper everything no tape no tape runners no score pal tape. And my pieces are very warped from the glue. Does your pieces not warp because you immediately put the building together? I had to redo the tower and one of the front pieces and the back. Because they were warped. I laid them out and even spritz them with water and laid a piece of glass on top of them with some weights for two days, but that didn’t help. I wonder how you get your pieces not to buckle with all the glue that you use. Maybe it’s because you live up north west and I live in Georgia where it’s very very humid. My project turned out fine. Once I redid those pieces. I’ve almost finished it when I get it finished. I will post it so you can see how I did mine. BTW I have been doing my bases like that from the start and wonder why you were not doing it that way. I also put supports in every thing. Love, love love this project, I have my pieces cut and ready. Can’t wait to put it together. I’ve made many of your projects. Keep the great ideas coming.
Do you know what the name of this pink color is? There’s several textured pink. Does this one have a name?
I enjoyed this video I've purchased from you off and on. if you ever do a craft a thon retreat, I am there!
I love this and now I am going to try to make it again it is so cute. Thank you for everything you do to helps us with projects
Hi! I made this years ago! This demo really simplifies the process. I’m going to make another! Thank you!
I noticed that the dormer pieces are not all the same size. Of course I noticed it too late after I had already a cut all of them and assemble them. Some are slightly larger, some slightly smaller, but there’s nothing in the instructions that says where the smaller ones go or the bigger ones. But they will not fit in any of the holes on the other pieces. I made it work by cutting the holes and putting a mat around the actual dormer. Just curious. Also, is there an easier way to actually assemble that part of the roof that attaches to the tower on either side. That was a nightmare overall I think it’s gonna be a pretty piece. I’ll post my product when I’m through.
Really cute, thank you
Perfect
Your instructions suck. Guess I'm just to use to Leo taking his time to show us where everything goes. He is not lazy about.
Hi Laurie! Wow, thanks for the brutally honest feedback lol. I appreciate it. I will work on getting this re-vamped.
I’m not to crafting and can’t wait to make this. So glad I came across this video with your very detailed explanation on how to cut and assemble projects.
@@Aurelias1971 thank you so much!!! I’m so glad to hear that!!
I have done this with the other tutorial twice, but it didn't come out great. I was pretty new to paper crafting and used solid score lines. I only recently discovered dashed score lines and it has been a game changer for me! This video is much more in-depth, and I will be trying it again today! The purple is super cute!
Did you have to change out your blade to the scoring blade or the scoring tool? I didn’t see you do that part?
@@CrozetMom nope, I opted for the dashed cut lines for my fold lines. The blade cuts them along with the shapes, and it’s nice and easy to fold. You can use a scoring wheel or stylus instead, and in that case, you’d use the files in the Solid Score Lines folder instead. Once they’re on your mat in the software, you simply change the solid lines’ Operation to Score. Both options are popular, it’s just a personal preference.
@@svgcuts makes sense. I didn’t realize that was an option -that’s great to know!!
Is there a specific reason you chose to use the dash line version instead of the solid line?
I too am happy to see you showing the design process. It will be great for beginners. And it's like we are sitting in the same room crafting together. Thank you for your designs.
@@teresawilson3316 yay! I’m so glad to hear that, thank you! 😊 I’m looking forward to making more videos like this. Thanks so much for being a fan! 💗
I’ve been purchasing your svg files for years. I love that you’re showing more of yourself on camera & the design process. This video felt more personable & allows your viewers to connect with you. Thank you for creating such beautiful files.💕
@@ByrdiB thank you so much!! That is wonderful to hear! I really appreciate it! 🥰
Yes I made this one before & I agree that it wasn’t in depth. A lot of you videos are not in depth.& sometimes I have extra pieces that I don’t know where they should have gone. & because of this sometimes I go else where to purchase files. 😢
Thanks for the feedback! I’m looking forward to revisiting as many designs as I can. If you have any more input, I’m always glad to hear.
I have lots of paper from Joann, Micheal’s, Stampin Up, and other online stores. My challenge is all the 8.5x11 paper that I have. I would like to be able to use it but the designs take a lot of work to separate the pieces into smaller sets that will fit on the small paper. Also, some of the designs just have bigger pieces sometimes.
@@tanyac9428 ah, gotcha! Well, I have good news! This CAN be made using 8.5 x 11” paper! Its parts can be rearranged to fit, and none of them is too large for that paper size. Just use the “separated” bus in the Extras folder.
thank you, mary, that was fun!!
@@cal8007 thanks Carmen!! 🥰
Hola la felicito sus trabajos son hermosos vivo en UK no hablo inglés soy una persona mayor quería saber si usted trabaja con cortadores y como puedo comprar los le agradezco la información ❤
I have tried 2 times to make this bus but the parts do not fit together I don't know what I am doing wrong but the top is smaller than the bottom after it is assembled I give up on it
If I don’t show up at Hobby lobby at least once a week, they call and make sure I’m OK.
🤣🤣🤣
For colored vellum I use the ink refills from Stampin Up put a few drops on white vellum and spread with a sponge or piece of white felt. Voila any cold vellum you want.
Wow!!! Thanks for the awesome tip, Cindy Rose! I need to try that!!
@@svgcuts it works beautifully just start with a small amount and add a little more as needed. Put aside and let dry completely before cutting.
Fun trip to HL. Nice to see your thought process when buying paper and accessories for the project.
Thanks so much, artsebella! 🥰
I think I can say from everyone in the Uk.. I am speechless at your HL! We have hobbycraft and it’s absolutely nothing like the range you guys have. Absolutely in awe! - Popup Papercraft x
Thanks Avril!!
So fun!! I love the idea of using those smaller paper packs, looking forward to seeing how this comes out! Our nearest HL is 2 hours away, but we’re finally getting one by the end of the year 🎉 I’m so excited!!
Thanks, ShayCol! 🥰 yes, it seems like just the right amount of patterned paper for a few projects! And so reasonably-priced even at full price. Ooh, that’s exciting! 🥳
This was fun to watch! Thanks for posting it
Thanks so much, Tanya!! 🥰
Sometimes they have single sheets colored vellum. Could color in printer or with a ink applicator brush and ink?
Ah, possibly! That would be worth exploring!
I'm so jelly, Mary. Haven't been to HL in ages. Thanks for taking me on your shopping trip.
You bet, Judy! Thanks for coming along! :)
This was awesome!! Can’t wait to see the final project! ❤
Thanks Jen!! 😃
For those that want to save a little money, about every other week HL puts their Paper Studio brand stuff on 40% off.
Ooh good to know! Thank you, Shanna!
Well this was fun! Thanks for the shopping trip Mary!🥰
Thanks Dina! 🥰
I enjoyed this so much Mary!! I already have this pattern, and now I can’t wait to make it!! Loved all the little tips you had!!
Great ideas on your shopping trip, thanks for sharing.
Hello from the other end of the uk in Kent ,what an amazing store I’ve heard of Hobby Lobby but this is the first time Ive seen what a crafters paradise it is ,our equivalent hobby craft & a craft section in the Range both pale into insignificance On seeing what you have Thank you for taking us with you ❤
Hello anee! Thanks for coming along! 🥰
I absolutely enjoyed shopping with you! As soon as the tutorial comes out I will be buying this SVG!!
Thanks so much, Holly!
Hello from Scotland 🏴 I enjoyed the wee trip to HL. ..Im recovering from flu so haven't been out lately, so thanks 😂. Strange that they didn't have have coloured vellum .. I thought they had everything! We have HobbyCraft here in UK but its nowhere on that scale unfortunately . I love this campervan ! Your imagination and skill never fail to amaze. Looking forward to seeing the finished build. Thank you for makng it possible to recreate your designs and sharing your incredible talent ❤
Thank you so much Mo! I hope you're all better soon! I'd love to visit HobbyCraft! I appreciate that!!
Great card! I'd love to know what cardstock and colors you used.
Thanks Bernadette! I like using textured 80# cardstock like AC Cardstock or Encore from 12x12Cardstock.shop. This design actually comes with extra information about how I made this version of the card! If your download doesn’t include that, you can get a complimentary update.
These directions are horrendous 😂 wish me luck as I try to finish this project
I’m sorry to hear that, Victoria. Thank you for the feedback. I will work on updating this video.
So cute!!
Thanks Anvita!!
Love the idea
Thanks Cecilia!!
Very cute❣️
Thank you Kimberly! 😃
I bought this kit but most of the files are blank. How do I see them? Thanks!
Hi Shawnda! In Cricut Design Space, you'll need to select All and then enter X and Y values of 6. This will bring all of the shapes into view on your mat on-screen. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I just sent you an e-mail! I'll send along an updated Kit as soon as I can, and I've refunded your order. ~Mary
