Del Piero is a legend. He played when Serie A was the best league in the world, when defenders were way stronger than nowadays and above all they were allowed to beat the shit out of the strikers (no Var and referees were way more tolerant than now, strikers were beaten for 90 minutes). Especially before the knee injury, Del Piero was the best of his generation, in my opinion second only to Ronaldo (the Brazilian) and Baggio.

When he was young, he played as defensive half, but occasionally also as wing. As he grew up (bear on) he oftenly play also as defender.

Lampard and scholes were playing in much better teams than Gerard did. He carried Liverpool on his back. Neither of those could have done that. Gerard could play in any position on the pitch and dominate

Michel Platini, it's very simple, he played for three clubs : As Nancy Lorraine, AS Saint-etienne and Juventus. And of course France team. And if you want see more french good players of the 80's I advice to you to see Alain Giresse and Bernard Genghini and also the wonderfull midfielder of the team of france in the 80's call "the magic square" ("le carré magique" in french).

You could do yourself a favour and Google him before the video. So you would know his nationality, the clubs he played for, how many goals and assists. And that it was Johan Cruyff that developed him to completeness after arriving in Barcelona.

I saw him. He was a genius on the field. The last real number 10 of the italian football. Legendary. He played most of his life with a leg that was not working properly and never complained. He gave up his career to save his club Juventus, and because of that he will be probably remembered in Italy for eternity.

Who came up with this, it's a no contest. R9 hands down possibly THE greatest striker (pre-injuries) this world has ever seen. Henry was a brilliant striker though, as a Utd fan I have to admit that.

Hey bro. Just found this video of yours in my recommendation. Acroding to Britannica: "Stoichkov began his soccer career early. By age 12 he was playing for Maritza Plovdiv in the Bulgarian second division, where his goal-scoring prowess earned him a contract with the powerful CSKA Sofia in 1984. The following year Stoichkov and five others received lifetime bans for fighting during a match. The bans were lifted 10 months later, however, after Bulgaria qualified for the 1986 World Cup. Stoichkov did not play for that World Cup team, but in 1987 he made the first of 60 appearances as a Bulgarian international. His professional career skyrocketed in 1989 when he tallied 38 goals for Sofia and shared the award for Europe’s leading scorer." P.S: Just subscribe btw.

As a city fan I’ve met Mario loads around Manchester and even at the pub in Istanbul can say was probably the nicest footballer I’ve ever met. But you could tell he was crazy and had a hard life. Which was probably his downfall. Sad to see but will always be remembered as a legend for me
