Store owner has every right who they can let enter into the tournaments. In my area, there were about 4-5 shops with invite only for the Urusulla Championships.

A store owner was met with the dilemma of losing an entire player base vs one player…. It sucks but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t understand why the store owner went with the route he chose especially if you read the comments in the thread the OP had spent absolutely 0 money at that store beside weekly entries that he would just earn back in store credit from said winnings🤷🏽♀️

I’m on the side of the game store for this one. Only reason I feel bad for the original poster is that they lost the ability to just play online and it sounds like that’s what they actually want.

I wanted to elaborate more on somethings I missed in why rant: -The store owner does have rights but removing someone for winning I don't agree with one bit. The shop owner could have changed the prizing structure. -How people have fun playing a TCG is a very subjective thing. This is what I was trying to say but I don't think it comes across that way in the video. How one player has fun is not how another player has fun. -New players do need to understand that league play, while typically more casual, is still a form of competitive play. People are allowed to play what decks they want. They have to understand what they are signing up for when choosing what deck to run. -I think the bulk of this community is great but this does happen from time to time that I've seen.
Very interesting! I love theme decks based on franchises! Amazing how well represented Mulan is in Lorcana. Despite all of these many cards, she still has Mulan Armored Fighter in Steel, Fa Li Mulan’s Mother and Great Stone Dragon in Sapphire, and Cri-Kee in Emerald. How in the world they haven’t done a Mushu or Shan Yu card yet is beyond me, lol…I think the only other franchise that is as well represented is Hercules!

Yeah, when I do these themed decks I have look at all of it and go with what inks have to most to work with. I think Mushu is coming for sure and Shan Yu will eventually but I agree Hercules has a ton of representation in Lorcana.

Very excited for Shimmering Skies! I agree, looking forward to that Merlin card probably the most. He has so many shift possibilities, especially in Amethyst. Wishing they’d incorporate Pocahontas into Lorcana with this set, as I think the Colors of the Wind song and imagery from the movie would fit into the theme of Shimmering Skies. I’m always hopeful for Pocahontas, Hunchback of Notre Dame (the Topsy Turvy song/celebration would be great with this set too), and Tarzan, but those are the three that seem most problematic deeming the themes of the movies and Tarzan’s licensing deal has long run out. Anyway, great video! Look forward to more :)

I like where your head is at with Pocahontas and the tie in to Shimmering Skies, I just feel like Disney doesn't do much with that film now for reasons. I'm a huge Hunchback fan and would love to see that movie get some representation and agreed, Tarzan will likely not see the light of day due to the licensing situation. Thanks for watching!
I really hope that Treasure Planet will get even more cards in this set! Especially more than just two like in the last one! 🤞

Absolutely! I definitely think Treasure Planet will see more love in the future. I want to make a themed deck or make the Ruby/Steel pirate location deck work

I like your list, although I’d put Cindy above Ariel since I tend to run more princesses. Also, I find that I always ink Lost in the Woods so definitely bottom tier amongst all Amber cards.
