  I'm an older sister, and I wasn't expecting them to show his arm getting lopped off in full detail. That traumatized me because while I'm scared of clowns, I was more scared of the idea that someone could hurt my own little sister. Or as my dad put it, "It didn't scare me clown wise, it scared me because every parents nightmare should be if their kids go missing."

  The worst part of viewing this with a 2000’s or a 2020’s mentality is that Superman could‘ve easily just threw this warhead far, far, far, farther into space then what he did. Which makes this entire movie’s depiction senseless. He could’ve easily launched the warhead/missle itself off course way beyond it’s explosion point thus causing hardly any casual damage but fallout in the minimal levels. I guess in hindsight, Superman chose to absorb the warhead and didn’t want it to rain down upon everybody. Hence his need to restore himself after the negative chem absorption drained him dry. But still…. I feel like if he had simply redirected it initially into space… Entry would’ve burned off the majority of hazardous rein. But that’s plot direction for you.
