Awesome vid Shez, makes a nice change to hear such a humble rider rather than the usual Billy Big Spuds. The voice over commentary worked well on top of the sights, and don't worry bud, confidence will come in time. You are doing incredibly well for such short mileage on an EUC. Hope to hook up with you soon.

Thanks so much man for the lovely message. I know i will get better. Its just frustrating when you want to keep up with others but im riding baby speeds
@planemo1912 жыл бұрын
@@TheShazstar honestly mate dont worry about 'baby speeds' and certainly dont think about trying to keep up. Go at your own pace and people will wait. If they dont wait they are not worth riding with anyway. Ride to arrive, not to end up with broken bones in plaster. All us EUC riders started at nothing, wondering how on earth we could possibly balance on one wheel, so I always understand those who are new. It's hard. I found it really hard. But every ride makes you better, trust me. Dont ever push beyond what you are comfortable with. And when you have mastered it (which you will) dont get complacent. A serious crash is only round the next corner when riders get cocky. Take care and look forward to hooking up with you come spring 2022 mate.

Being a stone's throw away from me I've always considered taking my XR to Cheddar Gorge but I don't have much confidence in tackling the inclines and declines on that thing, the eSkate scene is better suited for this terrain to enjoy (with no fear of nosedive) with somewhat decent speed. Good video! Many memories for me here including a time I nearly fell off a cliff and died...... LOL

I think it would be fine. Maybe park down the bottom and snakey carve up the incline and regen on the way down. I really enjoyed it. I could have carried on for ages but I had the wife and kids with me that day... Ill def go back and would try it (carefully) on the onewheel

You guys want to ride on the pavement, because of this you have millions opposing you, so it will be...insurance, registration, helmets, drivers license, jail term if you harm a pedestrian, speed limit to 15mph. You brought it on yourselves by a significant number of your users not giving a s##t about pedestrians.

Hundreds of cyclists die every year on British roads, lets ban them too. Let's ban cars too while we're at it (I've heard there are many irresponsible drivers out there). The problem is responsible riding, not the scooters themselves. We've got a Covid-safe, eco-friendly transport solution here and are focusing on a few idiots who misuse those low-powered scooters and therefore are ruining it for everyone.
