Thank you for saying this :D I feel I also agree with your statement. Something I'd like to add that might be interesting to know is that in most of my other animations, I primarily used a pen that doesn't have pen pressure sensitivity (default CSP G-pen) to try getting easy consistent line art across frames. However, this time I decided to just use my regular pen I use for line art in my illustrations, which DOES have pen pressure sensitivity. But, this didn't effect me as much as I thought it might. Though, that may have been because I was always mindful of it. Anyway, thank you again!

Thank you for watching! In this comment, I'm going to talk about a lot of things. Here is a table of contents, so you can jump to any topic that sounds interesting. Look for the matching number below! (1) Channel update/plan going forward (2) Skullgorls (3) My background with Halo (4) My health (5) AI opinions (6) Etc (7) Store stuff? (8) Final thoughts (1) I had originally intended to release this video on the 1 year anniversary of my Master Chief Why You Should Own an Assault Rifle video, but that was 2 months ago now. It's also worth noting that I started my Noble 6 video 9 months ago! Back then I had hoped to finish the video within a month or two. Things have been a lot more challenging than I initially realized and I've learned a lot since my Assault Rifle video. Even that video took me about a month to make. My shortest projects were my Skullgorls videos, which at my shortest took a week. I had believed I could keep a weekly pace, until I started experimenting with different art and animation methods (such as integrating Blender). It then went higher than a week again. I don't know if you'd believe it, but my Master Chief is Late video also took about a month (also my first uploaded video where I used Blender!! :o ). There was also a time period where I got burned out, started back, burned out again for a couple months, then came back. And now we're here. A lot has happened since my first Chief Animation. Some of my digital art pieces on my social media took a few weeks, and maybe even a month. It's almost hard to remember. I participated in three game jams, the first jam failed, the second one with a new group completed our game, as well as the third time. For anyone curious, the first game is called STARDUST SINNER (I animated the final boss Patchouli, as well as created the summoning circles/your reticle), and the second game is Bootleg Soldier Azure: ASTRAL RAVE (I did not create the characters, as they belong to an existing property, but I wrote the plot, script, created the character portraits (during dialogue), and the two game cgs that play during the story. I'm quite happy with how it all turned out!). Also since my first video I had a crazy copyright fiasco, and I feel my opinion on copyright has developed a lot since I started KZread. It's also worth mentioning that before my Assault Rifle animation, I was sitting at about 50 subscribers. Now, I'm at 6.3k!!! That's really cool. I never would have believed I'd ever get 100, let alone 1,000! I always feel grateful when I see people still subscribing and following me, and I hope to keep making things both myself and you guys will like! Anyway, I've gone on a long tangent and hardly covered the original topic. I'm not sure how frequent I'll be uploading overall (though, I'm sure early subscribers may have realized this already x] ). This is both in part to how long it might take me to make something, also with how I might have to put animations and things on the side soon. Not because I want to, but because that's kind of just how it is. Not too long ago, I got monetized on the channel (which is great!!), but the channel isn't my main priority. Animations aren't over, just that they might be more infrequent. I'm also trying to figure out how to make more animations with less drawings overall. Either way, if there is something I want to make, I'm sure it'll be here eventually! I've already been working on a few personal projects, some spanning back years. I've never publicly talked about them before, but I hope to talk more about it in the future! (2) Skullgorls is a project I'm grateful for, and I'm always happy seeing how people have enjoyed those two episodes. In the past, I had discussed more episodes being made for the future. Which was true. I spent at least a month or two of time working on episodes. However, I started to get burned out, as well as getting a bit tired of fighting games in general. A part of the problem I ran into is that the third episode I was making I was pleased with its progress, but it felt like it had too serious a tone for being my third episode (it still had silly bits, but I felt the comedy relied on the story). So I started working on my fourth episode, which was more light hearted. However, it had more experimental animation. I learned a lot, and I feel I overall got it in a good place. Though, shortly after I got fully burned out. Which is very unfortunate. My number 1 regret was that I really wanted people who enjoyed the first two to get to see what I was going for. I was also a little nervous, but the overall vibe I wanted for Skullgorls is either game mechanic funnies, or things I wanted to see relating to the characters, their relationships to each other, and the story. Basically, the episodes were about things I wanted to see, was hopefully funny, and people would hopefully also enjoy. For my video's progress, the third video was probably about 75% done, and the fourth was maybe 50%? Kind of hard to say. I was also pre-planning what my fifth video was going to be. I'm not saying that these videos will never release, I'm just not sure about how soon, when, or if they might at all... But maybe some day... I apologize for people who were excited for more, it's just hard with things like opportunity cost, and sometimes how my motivation shifts. Thank you still for everyone who enjoys the videos. (3) Seeing how I've made Halo videos, I want to share my relationship with the series. I've been playing Halo for a long time now, it's almost hard to remember early details. Since then, I've played almost all of them (I say almost, because some of *those* spinoffs...). Here is a list of the games I've played and the difficulty I've beaten them on: Halo CE (LASO), Halo 2 (LASO), Halo 3 (LASO), Halo 3 ODST (LASO), Halo Reach (LASO), Halo 4 (LASO), Halo 5 (Legendary), Halo Wars ( Normal), Halo Wars 2 ( Heroic), Halo Infinite (LASO). Halo has been a big influence in my life, and Bungie has created something amazing. Picking a favorite is hard to me, but probably either Halo 3 or Reach. But I could easily play any of the Bungie titles. Why do I only keep mentioning Bungie..? I think everyone knows. Back when Halo 4 released, I hated it. When Halo 5 came out, I was kind of getting tired of the new games, not to mention Halo 5's story is GARBAGE!!! When MCC released on pc, I replayed Halo 4. I realized there were more things I liked about Halo 4 than I initially realized. Though, I still think it is a terrible sequel. On its own, it bothered me less, but I can't pretend it actually follows up Halo 3. When I replayed Halo 5 its story is still awful. But if people like the gameplay, understandable. Halo Infinite... At first, I liked the story. Felt it needed more, but that it was a step in the right direction. I replayed it, and started to question that. The third playthrough, and no. I don't like the Halo Infinite story. I was comparing the story to Halo 5, and a little of Halo 4. Those are NOT the benchmarks to be using. I first realized my growing dislike for the story when I realized how many zoomed in hologram face shot cutscenes are in the game. Not to mention how they are trying to reset things, and still don't understand Halo. Don't even get me started on the game's monetization (I find it incredible how you can pay $60 for the game's story, and all you get for the multiplayer are some little charms and like a color or two. Are you serious???? I think they should have AT LEAST made an armor set or something for beating the campaign on legendary for example. Whatever). Regarding Halo Infinite's story, I did a rescript of what I thought would make the story better. I thought about it more, and started redrafting that even further. I started thinking that maybe I could make a video completely redoing Halo Infinite's story in a way I think is better (I would draw still images for the visuals). I did research, and felt I was making the story more cool. However, Atriox was an issue. I researched Halo Wars 2, and wasn't entirely impressed based on what I remembered. HOWEVER, I felt it was still workable. So I eagerly wrote more. But... I later realized that Atriox's story continues in a book which released before Halo Infinite. And I believe they were already hinting at things in that book, as well as I disliked Atriox's characterization. This sucked. My rewrite for Halo Infinite was actually going to include certain things from even Halo 5 (I believe I had a work around or two to make the Guardians less cringe, and even a little to like). A point of keeping Halo 5 bits was to prove that you don't have to give up even if the previous story was awful. But, then this other Atriox lore comes around and I want to ignore all of that. So I felt demotivated. Of course, I could pull a Halo Reach and ignore some lore, but I was already running out if steam. Oh well. It could still be fun to talk about some of my concepts for Infinite some day!

    (4) If people were worried about reading on my health, thank you, but I'm okay! It's just been a bit wonky for me. Earlier this year, my head started to bother me a little. Then, when I woke up the next day, my head felt absolutely terrible. I don't entirely remember the feeling, but it was so intense and extreme. I lied in bed the the whole day and couldn't look or really listen to anything. The next day was still bad, but a little better. And each day after, I progressively improved. However, a throughline of all this is that I felt dizzy. I eventually concluded there was some sort of vertigo. It sucked, because it made looking at some things miserable. That sucks for someone who likes to draw and play games. I went to the doctor, and they said I had benign positional vertigo (BPPV). They gave me these papers for an exercise called the epley maneuver (which, is really helpful if anyone gets vertigo), they told me to perform the maneuver regularly and to stop once the vertigo ended, then sent me home. So I tried the epley maneuver regularly, and did it for days, then a week. But nothing ever changed. And for two weeks, I felt dizzy and had a difficult time doing some things. Then, I felt better (not because of the maneuver (not blaming the maneuver)). Then, about a week or so later, I felt an extreme dizzy fuzz in my head and had to lie down. I then was a little dizzy again for about over a week. Then I was okay again. And just recently, I've been having a laggy dizziness in my head again, and it's almost been a week since it started. This dizziness stuff has been sucky. It's fortunately bearable to me, but it particularly sucks that I've been having to be cautious about all of my movements, my head position, and sometimes the head throbbing that happens when I'm trying to sleep. If you read this entire section, thank you for reading. I'm not trying to gain pity points, I don't ever talk about these sorts of things, and might as well talk about everything I wanted to. (5) I understand that a large opinion on the internet is that AI content in any way is always cringe. I get it. Back when 15ai was the most popular voice AI, I remember hearing those grainy voices in videos and wincing. When I found out about better voice alternatives, I was eager to hear and try them. I like sentence splicing, and in some cases I much prefer it. But for an individual creator, being able to use a characters voice without the limitations of previously spoken words is amazing. However, I know there are bad aspects to it all. As a fan of using sentence splicing to make a character say what they wouldn't otherwise say, felt similar to me to AI voices. Though, AI is often actually believable, and I understand the fear for both replacing workers, as well as being used for illicit means. How I feel is that AI, like many things, is a tool. A tool that matters on the user's honesty and intentions. I've played around with voice AI, art AI, and writing AI. I was the least impressed with the writing one, but still found fun. The art one made me question myself as an artist for a bit. It was almost hurtful realizing that with a few words, I could generate something better looking than I could make in a month. I could even train it to copy my style. However, the more I used it, the more I realized there are some things it really struggles with. When I wanted really specific things, it never quite got to my vision. And if I wanted a lot of similar things with exact consistency (such as repeatedly drawing a character the exact same design every time), it was doomed. It made me feel relieved that as powerful as the AI is, there are things I feel I'm better at and still needed for. The same for the voices. It's been neat for my videos, but I feel if I had a lot of scenes and emotions, having a real voice actor is where it is at. And for writing, well I felt the AI didn't quite understand meaningful setups and payoffs like I expected it to. I understand a lot of people's disdain for AI, but I like to believe there is a use for it. Also, some people on the internet thought I said that, "I knew what I was doing is wrong, yet keep doing it despite what people want". No, this hasn't happened. I checked my social medias, and I couldn't find anything of people directly messaging me or referring to me with having a problem with my voice usage. If a voice actor came to me with an issue, I'm willing to be cooperative. But people were claiming I was ignoring wishes of people who disliked my use of AI voices. I don't know what that is about, and I find people funny sometimes. (6) Thank you still to everyone who comments. I do my best to read them all, but sometimes I would get a large influx, and struggle to see all of them. Still, thank you! (7) Not long ago I got monetized, and I'm grateful for how that has been going. But I also started a Redbubble, as well as a Ko-fi. The Redbubble is primarily stickers, though I've always had an interest in shirts at some point :o For some reason as of right now, my Redbubble isn't showing my designs, but hopefully that changes soon! And as for my Ko-fi, it's just an option in case anyone wants to donate any amount to me. Nobody is obligated to, and I'm more than happy if all anyone did was watched my videos. I appreciate everything. Links will be in the description (and probably bio in the future)! (8) Thank you for reading! I wanted to make this comment to make certain things I feel or have been doing public. I appreciate everyone who has been watching and engaging with my content. I hope you'll be around to see what's next!
