  I have never seen this movie, but I understand your feelings about it perfectly. I think we all have that movie that just really speaks to us. I feel that way about Inside Out. I loved Inside Out as a kid for how creative, colorful, funny, and emotional it got. Now that I’ve rewatched it recently as an adult, I love it for those reasons, but also really appreciate other things about it like the filmmaking itself, and how the movie’s message has turned out to actually help me in life

  The extended directors cut of Nymphomanic pt.1 & 2…incredibly family friendly, and there’s even a very detailed scene about the importance of family planning, but maybe put grandmas knitting needles away when you watch!

  Monica I recommend watching “Ritual” from 2000 I think it might be up your alley. Would love to hear your thoughts. Worth watching just for the creative outfits alone but it’s very good, and underrated.

  I am trying to be good in life, and i think my shyness and fearing to say my word is a problem | I feared to counter people like recently I have Root canal on my wisdom teeth and its still have pain after 1.5 months dentist are keep saying this will gone and I just listen and get back to home, I should raise my voice and atleast should speak for me and my loved one or YOU ARE GONNA CRUSH ~ Hard truth 💔

  What I really hate is when everyone has seen a movie, but when I haven't seen it and say no Iv never seen it, people are like what you haven't seen that, oh my God you have to, I can't believe you haven't seen this or that, Just because I haven't seen something and everyone else has, dosent mean I have to see it, alot as far as I know are ones I really don't want to see.

  Wim Wenders actually made a pretty good documentary on Ozu, if you like his work (or Japanese cinema in general) it’s worth a watch. Also seems like you’re already familiar with Kore Eda, but Maborosi is my favorite of his, (maybe an unpopular opinion but it’s such a mood)

  I used to have Kiki’s delivery service and Totoro on vhs , I almost wish I would have kept them but they were a completely different dub than the ones I’m used to.

  Studio Ghibli's animators are soooo dedicated, the way your hair looks in the clip is exactly how Arrietty's looks.

  True story. Some years ago I invited a friend and her family to watch The Secret World of Arrietty with my family at our house. Her young daughters were captivated by her hair clip and wore office clips in their hair to elementary school where it became a sensation with the young girls. Not kidding.

  Not a movie but the tv series Mr. And Mrs. Smith has great cinematography and music. I really liked the show too, but some people were disappointed thinking it was an action show but it’s actually a show about their relationship. I highly recommend.

  I recommend to you and fellow viewers to watch “ritual” (2000) it’s a Hideako Anno film that doesn’t get talked about enough in my opinion.
