  That pny is actually a great card. They make a lot of commercial stuff. I have one in my sons PC and it keeps up to my 3080 pretty well.

  holyyyy... this actually works, i used to think its some bs, but it actually works. 20 degrees celsius lower temp with a little bit better performance in games, and my Low tier MSI motherboard doesnt even support changing core ratio

  With Lossless Scaling Frame Generation. 6700xt can lock in 60 fps on 1080p to generate x3 fames matching 180 fps on forbidden west 100% of the time.

Originally was going to use the board for a test bench, but the e5 2630v3 I had lying around was already about as fast as my x5675 at 4.1ghz so decided to get the e5 1660v3 and overclocked that thing to 4.1ghz core/4.1ghz cache and been using that ever since. Probably going to stay on this platform for some time as it's quite fast. Only problem is that the cpu can push up to 210 watts during a high cpu load and that gets painful during the summer :P

  For the 7800x3d, you do not have the option to manually set the CPU ratios or Vcore. You can only set an offset but you cannot for example set all cores to 48, the motherboards lock this setting for the 7800x3d

  @@TheMrdiablo58 well defect happens, but it still make me cringe so bad, also that little wiggle could still make micro crack, that gpu is rather heavy it just dont help. Sure if its your pc go ahead, but in this vid, it was other people pc. You dont say "hey this car have 4 WD feature, lets drive it through the mud" if it wasnt yours to begin with. But i dont know, that is just how my logic works

  An opinion on the X99 platforms is that despite the range of various V3 and V4 processors. Depending on what people are looking for, the best ones are always the ones that do well with the integrated GPU. I work with multiple VT machines despite the time using an RTX 3090Ti on the bench, I was amazed with 2 E5 2696V4 processors and the E5 2697AV4. They are great processors for working with high-end GPUs, if you were to look at the more competitive side in smaller jobs, I would use them for the $, the E5 2696V3 and E5 2697V3 which are great for the price and performance in heavy jobs with multiple cores.   Disable secure boot 🤣 for anyone reading don't do this. Just Google/reddit overclock controller. U just need to make a registry edit. Very simple and won't put your pc at risk

  Unlocking and monitoring voltage in the menu is greyed out. It's kind of weird, because my overclock for my video card is available, but not the voltage.

  dude i had bought a PC off of marketplace with a 2070 super. i had issues for nearly 2 weeks straight where it would crash in games and say "rendering device lost", and i was pulling my fucking hair out trying to fix it. the only thing that worked was following your guide for undervolting the 2070 super, and all my games ran flawlessly. i recently upgraded to a microcenter prebuilt with a 4070ti and a r9 7600x, and its been randomly crashing (audio continues playing but the screen shuts off and fans go full blast). hopefully undervolting this one solves my crashing issues. thank you so much for the clear and concise videos.   Yay that’s true, but the IMC still is the only thing controlling the REG part. Same as it was on X79, so in theory a bios mod would be all you need even on those mobos. But it’s very important to point it out indeed

  Recommending such an old card to anyone that could fail at any moment is pure nonsense. DLSS won't work on this card, nor will any of Nvidia's new techniques. Additionally, the 1080 consumes much more power than the 4060 and doesn't even come close to it in terms of performance. If you overclock it, the power consumption will skyrocket. For someone with cheap electricity, this doesn't matter, but in the EU, due to the Green Deal, electricity prices are artificially inflated, and such consumption makes a difference.
