  Can the Hopper select ever be set to say 0 by mistake, ie no Hopper, Or does it only have function 1 hopper or 2 Hopper. then the machine would say no Comms Hopper

  Nice service video of the MEI. I have a question for you. I have a couple of older MEI 2511s that cycle slow and display the one flashing light that represents a bill jam and wondering if it needs to be lubed or what parts need to be replaced. Thanks for your expertise.

  Usually a case that the stacker motor is bad. You can try some new grease in the gear box and maybe a few drops of 10W oil.

  I hate the eBay shipping BS. Every sale I've had has ended up with eBay saying USPS has charger them more do to my error on packaging. After today I'm done with eBay.

  I stopped selling on ebay because I had a run of bad luck with bad buyers. Their platform is low traffic and their fees have become too high to risk being a seller on there. I went from "preferred" or whatever the top status is to being on the verge of suspension within one month and of course I lost a lot of $$.

  My display screen went blank. LED next to switch is blinking. Outside error light is off. When powered on machine will not “cycle” as usual. Any suggestions?

  The power supply seems to be working as the light is on. The control board itself has likely failed. They make 2 boards, 1st is for 1 validator and the Super U is for changers with 2 validators.   I've got an old pepsi vendng machine (can type) I believe from the 70's. The coin mech is the 6200C model. When I deposit coins, they all drop directly to the change slot. What can I do to fix this? Also, this may be a silly question, but does it matter if there are no cans to vend. yet?

  be sure to add 15 coins to each tube and there must be 6 or 8 cans in 1 slot.

  Hey Doug, My machine will take 1 dollar bills and dispense change but it will not take any change alone. One of the 3 magnets on the lower coin accepter is cracked. Do you think its worth trying to tune the device or does this component need to be replaced?

  Depends on if the program in the board is new enough. Try the dip switches first to turn the 5s option on.

  @@KBDxTokyo some are upgradable and some are not. Does is say "Flash Port" on the back all the way down? That sometimes means it will accept a flash, not 100% though. If it is blank and says nothing, most likely you just need to replace it with a newer model. We have them all in stock. www.dougbale.com

  This was actually fairly common there. Bashas and Rite Aid in the only shopping complex in town were both subject to the same problem. Bashas was actually the only true grocery store in the whole town and people were having to drive 20-30 miles to the next closest store at the edge of Fort Mohave and Mohave Valley. I say were, but I mean are - as to my knowledge they STILL have no grocery outlet and even worse now the Rite Aid has closed so there is no pharmacy either. There are a handful of gas stations and small markets with inflated prices, but that's what it means to live in a town in rural America. The nicest part of the area is that you can almost go to the river year round and soak up sun while cooling off in some pretty fresh water.
