    I might get round to that at some point, there are quite a few pretty good ones on KZread already though! They don’t nessecarily show you how to create cool designs but for pure software knowledge there are plenty.

    Hey Sean, I have trouble coming up with some abstract shapes/forms like you did in the last design behind the man in the suit, what is your process? Are you doodling until you land on something that feels good? Thanks for the video, was packed with useful tips!

    Hey! That particular graphic is just a scaled up version of my logo. I usually roughly sketch ideas, before picking the ones I like and working them up in Adobe Illustrator. I have a few videos on how I come up with ideas, check out my Brand Identity Process vidoes!

    1:36 I don't feel like that example is particularly well designed. I feel that It's disjointed, with uneven spacing and an unnatural flow. 2:57 Another example of weak design. Again, disjointed and uncomfortable to look at.

    In previous versions of Photo Elements, when I make an 8x10 transparent and bring in two 6x4 photos into it to print I was able to move them where I wanted to side by side, now when I try to do it, the first one goes into the middle, and won't budge. Does it have to do with the Smart Objects? How do I get around it?

    hi, thanks for the video. when you first created the grid you said you wanted to make a 3 mm gutter around the edges (-6mm in height and width) but you reduced the grid by 20mm, 1 cm all around. unless im missing something?

  • @shapesbysean
    @shapesbysean4 ай бұрын

    Well spotted, that was just a mistake on my part/ but really the gutter should change depending on how you want your design to look

    interesting but hard to follow for the newbie haha. Also, around 0:47 you say something like 'reduce with 6 mill' and you take of 20 from 210. Maybe it is that I am not a native speaker, but that doesn't make sense to me. Thanks anyways!
