I was disappointed that this only covered the step-up, and not the actual climb.
Hi Sandra, thank you for sharing your thoughts. This livestream focused on improving your leg connections, which I've noticed is an area students struggle with. Sometimes when you focus on one part of a pole move, it improves the rest. I'm creating more content for this channel (just took a break), when I do I'll keep you in mind. Are you struggling with moving from the start of the climb and going up the pole? If so, what part is frustrating you? Thank you for your insight! Cheers, Jane
Will try I’m always on my dominant side
Me too! Superstar on my dominant side.. “not so superstar” on my non-dominant! 🤦♀️
Great Video 😎
Hey hey! Thank you for watching - I appreciate your support!
What about on spin pole? How is it? What is the diference?
Girl. I love you. Ok?
Why is this move so hard for me?
totally understandable - this move was my nemesis when I was starting out. What are you experiencing? Can you describe how you feel when you are practicing the move? I might be able to pinpoint a solution :)
@@BeginnerPoleDancing Seems like my brain cannot understand the switch with the leg, I also have probem with that little spin at the beginning maybe my problem is with my coordination?
@@FerineKitty I don't think it's a coordination thing. In this video, I'm facing the camera, which is hard to learn from. If my back was to the camera, it would be easier to follow.
@@FerineKitty By any chance, are you on IG? If so, look for me as @BeginnerPoleDancing - I can send you a video that makes it easier to learn this move. I honestly think because I'm facing the camera, it can be hard to learn.
@@BeginnerPoleDancing I do! but in fact I started my pole class and I still can’t do it as much
So sexy !!!
Instructor: make sure you have a strong upper body Me: can’t do a push up and still attempting
Keep going! One push up leads to another.
pole sits are my nemesis, I need to work on this
Pole sits can be complicated! Angling the hips, connecting with the thighs and managing the "burn". Feel free to ask any questions on how to overcome this nemesis move :) Jane
So great thank you❤❤
You are so welcome! Thank you for commenting - I appreciate it!
Thanks a lot 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥰!!! Thank you very much with your detailed explanation now I understand where I am failing and by the way that sexy ❤you do congratulations 🎊 🎊 🎉🎉!!
nice thanks! I have a pole in my room that I haven't used in 10 years...but I think about it every week. this looks like a great re-entry plan.

awesome sauce, thank you!
You are so welcome!
You are a wonderful teacher. I am just learning how to use KZread. I search for just your videos because you break it down so I can understand it. Thank You

Thank you so much, I appreciate it!
Omg, you made it so clear and simple, I’ve been struggling to get it right for a while ! Thank you so much ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
You are so welcome, Lilian! Thank you for reaching out and sharing - made my day!
Those moves were amazing but it was going way too fast!
Thank you! When we filmed these moves, I was soooo nervous! I tend to talk and move quickly when nervous. Recently, I learned you can change the speed of a KZread video through the "settings" feature. You can slow or speed up videos. Hope this helps! Thank you for enjoying my old tutorials! Cheers, Jane
This was moving. You are great at public speaking too ❤️
Thank you for this - totally made my day.
Thanks
I forget that you're allowed to grab the pole below with your other hand. That helps.
Yeah! Glad this little tweak helped you! I actually like this move better when it's two handed versus one handed. I think it's because I don't know what to do with my other hand! ha! Thank you for watching and reaching out - I appreciate it!
@@BeginnerPoleDancing This one is iffy for me because it's hard to wait until the back of my knee naturally connects with the pole and it also require you to lay your body out wide, which is kind of scary. I think grabbing the pole from behind helps with both of these.
I’m not sure how this is considered a beginner move 🤣 Imma keep walking it out till I get it though
Hi Linda, I think because this is one of my fave "go-to" moves, I have a lot of force behind the move. But I didn't start out that way. It took several months for my body to memorize the sequence. I walked this move out, for a long time until I started lifting my feet into it. So definitely, start with walking it out, to help your body memorize the sequence and then take it slow. In time, you'll become comfortable and ready to fly! Cheers, Jane
Is that a pole you can collapse or pull up? Like a folding cane.
Hi Ronald, it's actually one piece. It's customized to the space as one big piece of brass. Cheers, Jane
My pole doesn’t move but How can I do it when I’m fat lol
Hi there! You can also do this move on a static pole. When I started I could only less than halfway around the pole. Little by little, it became easier.
Thanks a lot. Your demonstration was excellent for bigginers like me. I've just started practicing. A big thank you from Brazil.
You are so welcome! ❤️❤️
Thank you so much for this tutorial! Been looking for a tutorials on this with the leg that goes back for so long!
You are so welcome! Glad I can help!

Oh thank you! Hope you enjoy this warm up and sorry if I moved too quickly!
Volume was loud and clear ☺️
Yeah yeah!! OMG Espie - I was so worried about this! Thank you!
@@BeginnerPoleDancing You’re welcome!✨ Also, this is such a GOOD and QUICK warmup, especially for those who have a tendency to neglect them 🙋🏻♀️ hahaha
@@espie2320 Thank you Espie! I appreciate your feedback so much! This worked out well today.. I will do this again, for sure!
