Hey everyone. Welcome to my channel. Ive been called Metal Pete for over 10 years now since Ive been going to shows of metal bands and playing drums in rock/metal bands too. I currently play drums in a couple metal bands. One called Burial Ritual and the other called Khazaddum. I am all about hard rock and various forms of metal music. I am also a ceiling fan collector fascinated with them since I was a little kid. I collect a lot of industrials and older fans that are also mainly made of metal. Double meaning of metal fan. I also display any type of music that involves me playing drums for as well. Subscribe as you will.

R.I.P ones at Disney 😢
If you can, get a video of the originals in your dad’s church.
@hunteroriginalceilingfans4006 Here’s a short video he took for me last year. On my channel now. kzread.info/dash/bejne/hIuFmKugmq7So7Q.htmlsi=SiEi-EFgw_adptiL
The control and capacitors needs to be changed
Cane! Love it
Nice china tom on the doorframe lol
I know this video is several years old, but I have my sisters old 3.9 that hasn't been used probably since the 90s. The original hose is wrapped in duct tape. Where can you find parts for these? Just ebay or other places? Would rather not have to buy used...
I found a replacement hose matching beige on EBay. This gray hose on this vacuum in the video is now on a late 80s Kenmore that replaced a torn one.
@MetalPete_the_metalfan thanks!! Love these machines. Didn't know for many years that panasonic was the maker. My mom has a long history with these since the 70s. I bought her last one back in 2013. Thanks again.
Kinda sorry I didn't stay for this one, now. Would have made for a nice round four-Original night.
This fan looks fantastic in that band room. Matches the aesthetic of the room.
You should really use a recall clip on the ceiling fan
I call it bar speed😂
Can you please put a Recall Clip on this Fan?
OMFG!!!! NOBODY CARES ABOUT YO RECALL!!!! AND ITS GETTING ANNOYING!!!!
@@tomaserincasablancalarocqu5086 Be Nice. Stop being so mean. Please stop acting like a jerk. Recall clips are needed for extra safety so that Fan wouldn't fall.
@@blakesfansandmore7251 I isn’t being mean, but this is getting annoying! I think Mr. Pete knows what a Recall clip is!
@@tomaserincasablancalarocqu5086 Then why won't he use it on that Fan?
@@blakesfansandmore7251 Maybe because it’s probably there for testing purposes, who knows.
Cool!
Muy potente ventilador
Vaya recuerdo haber visto este tipo de ventilador aquí en Venezuela en los años 90 eran geniales.
Damn, I would love to come visit your fan barn, for my birthday lol.
Hey there I was told to stay away from dan
I was once a fan obsessed kid. Now I’m a fan obsessed adult.
All of us were. Same with me here, Dan and Rick here as well.
I would have been in heaven visiting that space at his age! Now I’m 38, and still would be. Lol.
Now that those two unions are down from the peak. If you want to, you have the opportunity to have a different combination up there
Nice!
Have you thought of changing the bay fans? They have been those gold lines for a year
fantastic shed full of ceiling fan
Love the beautiful art deco F40 preheat fluorescent fixtures.
Do you still have this?
What’s the RPMs?
Rare! Also, "FiRsT FaN Of ThE NiGhT"
omg favorite fan store in sarasota florida hopefully you get a brand new fan for dan spiffy he loves that fan even gulf coast dixie belle fan from 2014 wow again great store location
Great fans!
This place is amazing they have awesome customer service and good fans too
this is extreme autism
wow fantastic ceiling fan casablanca lady deltas are fantastic fabulous
My indoor fans are three Panamas and one Lady Delta. My guest room has an 8ft ceiling, while the rest of my house is 9.5ft. The Lady Delta is perfect for the guest room. My Emerson 4-speed control didn’t play nice with this fan, as it does with Panamas. (One Panama is Inteli-Touch). I used a generic 3-speed dial control, because I dislike pull-chains. The speeds seem to match factory speeds. I don’t know the actual values. Low is nice but with little air movement. Medium moves some good air, and high is maniacal. It’s antique brass with oak blades, and has an aftermarket single globe fitter with a floral design, on its own dimmer. It’s a mix of 90’s fan with 80’s light kit. It was rebuilt by the previous collector and I bought it from eBay. I love this fan. I host guests in this room 4-6 times/year, and sleep in that room 1-2 nights a year. Consumer Reports talked shit on it way back when for moving too much air, as Dan said. I have never trusted them, since. lol.
THIS IS COPYRIGHT
congratulations you found metal petes perspective in the same setting not a direct rip of dans video.
@flebnard Yeah it is just my perspective since this fan is actually mine that I picked up.
The problem with ceiling fans in a room with an organ is it can cause a "tremolo" effect that might not be wanted. My father found that to be problematic when tuning organs.
You can tell by the capacitor the evergo ones will have an evergo sticker on the capacitor
Hey I may be getting twin goldlines for my birthday
FIRST FAN OF THE NIGHT!
What was the 2009 Energystar Rated thing?
I have a 52” 5-Bladed K-55 Emerson 1895 ceiling fan in my living room in polished brass finish with high-gloss cherrywood blades and I love it. Yours is very nice too!
Only place I saw these and the Legends in the wild were Lone Star Steakhouse and Saloon and Don Pablo’s. Both restaurants had some on literal 20ft downrods. Don Pablo’s were always on low and reverse. Aesthetics only. Lone Star would have four and five blade mountings, various speeds. Always in a chestnut brown color. Was sad I could never save any when those chains went under, but I was very young. I’ve seen some urbex vids of the abandoned stores with the fans still there, or laying on the floor. This was the same time period in the 90’s that Outback Steakhouse would have Hunter Orignals throughout . Radio Shacks in that same era often had first-gen 1895’s in white in the stores. Good times!
Can you tell me when the Next Fanimation Group Trip is?
no bc ur smth bad
In case you don't know, Fudruckers is a family guy reference. I also see some new fans in the backround
Fuddruckers was a burger restaurant chain. That’s a Moss Tropical Breeze with a switch housing in the background.
These were fairly common in the northeast when I was a child, but not in brass. I would have zero use for this in my Texas house, but freaking love it. It’s simple, beautiful, and powerful. Spectacular find!
This looks very unique
That's a beauty!
What year is the fan from?
Second fan of the night
Can you put a Recall Clip on this Fan?
Casablanca fans manufactured between January 1981 - September 1993 were recalled for potential of the fan falling from its mounting. These fans require the recall clip
@@shivamgandhi5779 I Know that. But Metal Pete still won't install a Recall Clip on that Fan. Metal Pete is Lazy
What’s the pink thing on the blade?
Forgot to remove the price sticker on the blade. Removed it off the motor but forgot the one on the blade.
@@MetalPete_the_metalfan how much?
@@shivamgandhi5779 It was priced at $35 but the pink tags were indicated as 50% off.
Since there’s an outlet near the upper canopy, how do you convert fans that aren’t cord plug to be plugged into the outlet?
Easy. I have a very short cord with the plug on one end and wire leads on the other and the end with leads is fed into the box and clamped on the cord.
@@MetalPete_the_metalfan could you possible make a video?
The cord has the wires cut off on the other end, we just wire nut them to the fan wires as if they were the ordinary supply wires if you were to be installing the fan somewhere.
First fan of the night Thanks for watching Buy Fanstick Drink Sparry
Don't forget to eat Taco Burrito Mexico!
