  I really want to see the movie but never played FF7 OG and so I probably better wait for the third part of the remake, since as I understand, the Movie played after FF7?

  My mom and I bawled our eyes out at this scene. The way they interact with each other with such love and sincerity melts my heart. A bit of a rant but I used to avoid the FF series for a long time growing up because it reminded me of my brother too much. He was constantly away at school, work and so on. This game and story just hurt too much to come back too. In a strange way this scene kind of helps me to let go of it and make my peace with it. I don’t feel so sad now when I think about it.

  As much as I appreciate how nice these small moments are in Advent Children, I still think it's got a poorly written plot. They put in a plot disease: Geostigma. That's the excuse they give Cloud to remain aloof, keep him and Tifa apart, and make fans think he's going to be robbed of the happy ending he deserved after everything he went through in FF7.

  @@popeyeschicken3535 but we are comparing a video game against a animated movie here. in a game each frame needs to be completed in 33ms and in a movie 1 frame can take hours to render. So thats why animated films always should look way better than games even after being older.

  So much changed since this came out. I remember the graphics were great back then, and now they look dated. Even though the movie wasn't well received for many because it was so negative, I still liked it because it was unique and it fit the Final Fantasy universe still, especially during that time. I was a teenager around this time and I liked the how the focus was on grieving and healing. I hadn't seen much of it yet in that time. Everyone was so kind to each other. That is what I remembered most, not the negativity many other people seem to remember.

  red has 1 sentence in the entire movie. most characters dont have lines it was a missed opportunityx to make a nice movie for what happened after , instead its just sephiroth again, which i get, is fine, i love him but bro red had almost no lines in the game , in the movie its 1. and dont ask about the other characters. they should have done with the movie what ff7 rebirth now did. give us more character moments

  It does and doesn't. They texture detail and individual movement for that stuff is better in the movie as well as shadow detail. The lighting for Rebirth was downright terrible for some reason, even compared to Remake. Maybe switching engines or something, but I bet we see a major revision in less than a year.

  For the sake of the writing, I appreciate how sinsere his motivations are. However, I felt Geostigma was a plot excuse to keep Cloud a loner and separated from Tifa, even after what they accomplished with Sephiroth. That's my main reason why I didn't care for the movie.

  People regard Cloud in Advent Children to be depressed for no real reason. To that I say, no. Cloud is justifiably depressed because of one simple factor, Sephiroth. In the original FF7, Cloud and the gang had suffered a heavy loss when Aerith died, but with the threat of Sephiroth, there was no time to grieve, no time to mourn. Advent Children takes place two years after FF7's story, so it's understandable that in those two years, those thoughts may have crept thier way back into Cloud's psyche. And as shown in cases such as, and I regret bringing this man up, Jeffrey Dommer, he had repressed those negative thoughts, but in the end, that repression is what drove him to kill. In that same vane, Cloud HAD to repress his thoughts because he had a job to do. Aerith says it best to Cloud. "Dilly Dally Shilly Shally. Isn't it time you're the one who did the forgiving?"

  This is the story about the kids name Marlene is look like similar face of Aerith, and she's small like 7 years old girl or young lady that she's talking to Cloud, Cloud's talking to the kid respectfully as one of Tifa's family ever. My reaction here is very sad and lovely comes out music Cloud's theme "If I never knew you".
