Was it a dangerous circuit? Yes, but maybe stuffing 26 cars on track didn't help. Also the fact that this layout was made for 1930's cars, not 1970's cars

Montjuic Park was dangerous but absolutely glorious. Only the Nurburgring and Watkins Glen could be compared to it. Sadly all 3 are now no longer on the calendar and instead we have dreadful venues like Hungary, Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Jeddah.

安全に対する意識が低かった時代だから成り立たっていた事ですが、このレースの様なスリリングさがかつてのF1の魅力であった事は間違いないと思います。 あくまで観戦者の立場でですが、レースに対する緊張感が現代とは異なり一言で言ってしまえばレーサーの死に対する緊張感ではないかな、と。 一方でシステム化されていない牧歌的な雰囲気も多いに残っており、その緩急差も魅力的に感じます。
