  Slew man! I love your videos. You’re one of my favorite KZreadrs here lately. It’s all been very informative. I have a super important question for you, so I hope you will answer it. I’ve been practicing my artwork for a few years and I’m getting to the point where I think I’d really like to make money with it (obv a great idea). I’m having trouble getting started with the idea of making money. I dig the idea of using the video sponsor, and then there’s the idea of making a website and selling prints\originals. But I don’t have a social following or a KZread channel. I don’t know how I would get customers. I don’t even know how common it is for people to buy art. Where are you making the most money? How could I start getting my artwork viewed? I need inspiration man I’m stuck in the mud!

  For some people it helps tremendously to have a routine like a class provides. Just a place, time and other artists so long the teacher doesn’t suck the inspiration out of it. But even that is better than flying solo at home under own discipline for some people because it becomes tedious and frustrating at same time and often with unusual distractions irrelevant to your efforts at hand. For some people anyway. Myself.

  The final light tones on the nose and yellow/green on the snakes are what gives it the 1% punch. Love the care and attention you bring to this piece. The process is an artform of its own. #gorgon

  Hullo SLEW, I did think your spill was genuine and as I have done the actual same thing in the past! I guess the "joke" was on us, but not funny if you have ever done it for real, and yeah I really have. I have not made anything in acrylic, well I did do some acrylic pours this last year, but I just believe that is painting. I have seen some truly amazing pours and do not intimate it is not ART is sure is! I just do not think of it as painting. My hang up, not applicable to anyone else. I do enjoy watching you work and seeing a new Medusa come to fruition, thanks for sharing! Gorgon to be sure!

  It’s good to see this style pop up again. Not saying I haven’t appreciated your growth in the oil painting, but as you stated, the simplistic style of this kind of art is so impactful. Always love when you actually get time to paint! Oh and as for the allergies, if it’s from pollen and such, eat one clove of raw garlic a day, chewing it up well, during the allergy season, and you will be amazed at how it clears up your sinuses, and you will feel much better! ❤❤
