  if you do it with pvc pipe , make sure and use endcaps. the tape did not allow enough pressure build up to pop it .

  Oh yeah, I want that little kit for sure. My plan is a soft mount, it will sell quick when it's done. This market just loves baby animals. I'll possibly even use the real skull for the head, and tan and mount the tail. I did a baby groundhog for someone and used the real skull. And 1 more thing. I have this huge 4.5 pound muskrat in a freezer I've had for quite a number of years. I wonder which is bigger, the rat or this beaver kit.

  i put the kit in the freezer for you . the beaver might be 5 pounds . it is cotton beaver , not old enough for guard hair . it is a beautiful silver color on the belly side .

  Yup, you’re right, beavers will return so maintenance removal is necessary for years to come. By golly I just received a beaver damage control job about an hour ago, my 1st! The property owner ask what I needed for my work so I told him and he turned around and doubled it!! Told him I’d be there tomorrow morning!!!!

  awesome , good luck on the job . it is a lot different when you need to get them all vs just fun trapping . set heavy and get them hit hard the first night .
