  Thanks for watching! The covered grandstands were pretty much full. The rain scared most away from the uncovered section but it filled up after the threat of rain cleared

  Well, for one it's not a very big arena- it's used primarily for rodeos, concerts, and demolition derbies. Second it's a local team (twenty minutes away from the arena) who mainly run a tour in WA and CA. I don't think they ever race in the big-name stadiums in big cities. My guess is these drivers are only semi-professional, as most of them are from WA and OR. Straight Up Racing doesn't have the funding of Feld/Monster Jam with no TV contract and limited sponsorship funding. Most of their sponsors are pretty small companies. I still love Straight Up Racing though, they're really talented and run a really cool tour for fans too far away for Monster Jam or who can't afford the tickets. Apparently they also sell parts they build to Monster Jam teams as well. I'm hoping to make it out to Tacoma next year for Monster Jam.
