We are a birdhouse business that builds a wide variety of styles, install, maintains and collects the data from those units. We focus on urban green spaces like golf courses, parks and communities sharing how balanced these properties are and how wildlife utilizes them as their resources either year round or seasonally!

Unfortunately, the 6"×6" compartments are irresistible and easy pickings for any aerial predator. Your new halo looks like it will do the trick.
It does do the trick. We have also had issues with predators on the gourd house systems too. When the predator is hungry and finds the resource with naïve fledglings, it’s a tough battle
Did the quail release survive? Can you tell if that helped?
Some stayed around for a bit! Unfortunately, a few months after the project the client chose to start clearing the native scrub habitats through the middle of the property which has pushed them on and/or exposed to predatory attacks
Do the lay there eggs or cold they make the nest in the yard have one in the back yard and she or he does I call bitching lol and we have a firehall like be side use with there drive but he or she is always in the yard mostly in the back yard but in between the yard and firehall even at night just bitchin away and we live in town
I lived in south Florida for a few yrs. Quail do really well in this state. They were everywhere in my neighborhood the 3 yrs I lived there.
Interesting. In central Virginia we are trying to t to help them make a comeback by. It grazing or mowing until July 1. Allows grasslands birds to nest and fledge their young.
Poor mother owl, frozen in fear and protection. Very invasive.
I made 2 nesting boxes and have had success the past 3 years with residents with babys so cute , love to watch them grow..
Will this trap work on mountain pine beetles?
What kind of packets are u using
Where can we get these?
Email us: [email protected]
Never work. They don’t know to set on and hatch eggs. Hawks will thank you though.
Thank you
Is there a perch on the inside ?
Is there a perch on the inside ?
Not technically a perch, but a crawl ladder with wire or possibly front wood panel roughed by saw at end for the to have something to grip on
What is most effective for pine bark beetle, wet or dry cup?
We prefer dry cup. When using wet cup, have a hard time putting the recommended solution in there and where do you then dump it. Using water also in the wet cup is fine too.
Where can I find more information on this? My understanding is that all purple martins overwinter in the Amazon Basin (either Brazil or close in proximity).
www.PMCA.org. Yes, all Martins from July-December are back in Brazil. Then they start returning to North America to raise young at the earliest late December.
Dark Blue Alligator
Nice! What dia hole is in that box? Thank you.
For the Eastern Screech Owl it’s recommended for 3”
We just made two screech owl boxes. They will be installed tomorrow in the woods tomorrow on two trees we can see from the house but will need quality binoculars to see and watch the new neighbors. 🦉🤞🏻
That’s awesome! Enjoy the experience
Awesome❣So glad that the company called you guys! Now, it's already a win-win for all - especially the Ospreys❤ Great job👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❣
Hi, Native! Will there be 24/7 livestreaming here as in earlier years?
Yes it is, just not on our platform. They are hosting themselves now
@@nativebirdboxesinc.6354 Thank you for your reply! This is a great nest because of you guys👍🏻Thank you for all the years that you hosted 24/7 here😇! And, thank you for ALL your videos - they are always kind, fun and informative❣
Is this Bob Ross
😎
We have a box, it's really our duck box, that a screech owl has come to. He's always looking out the hole, but I've never seen him come and go.
Humans gotta be diligent and very patient to watch the Owls activity at night. Happens so fast
How do you keep out squirrels and other birds before an owl nests?
@@robertwheeler1797 We don't really. I haven't seen the owl for a week or so but we see squirrels down there now. And in a few weeks we will probably begin to see the ducks arrive. I think they think its a neighborhood house for anyone who shows up. Sort of, first come, first serve. We're going to eventually build another one.
@@robertwheeler1797 Repetitious checking. When a squirrel is noticed and you Todd thier nesting material they are discouraged that they have been found out and reduces their return.
They look very nice, good job
Thank you
bobwhites are cute as heck
Amazing footage! That looks like a huge fish (a fully grown/adult Bass?) the bird caught! The fish was struggling, but the hungry Anhinga managed to fully consume (alive?!) it all okay? It looked like the unlucky thing was desperately kicking sliding down that long throat! I wonder, does the large fish stand any chance of escaping if eaten in that condition? Maybe it can turn around inside the elastic throat/stomach and has a chance of survival here.
It was crazy to witness! Typically the larger the fish, the more those birds wait for it to be completely dead before swallowing. Smaller the fish they sometimes spirit once then swallow.
Thank you for the video👍👍❗ I have a big request🙏 that you fix the problems with the live broadcast from the osprey nest, it’s a shame that we can’t watch them, the stream is constantly interrupted🙄😞
Thank you for the hello! We are only hosting it till they fix their own problem with their networking then releasing. Been a construction IT nightmare!. Sorry, it is horrible and embarrassed to hold it till they go hardwire!
@@nativebirdboxesinc.6354 Hello❗ Thanks for the answer❗ The broadcast from the osprey nest is still not working correctly. Another request🙏 Ospreys, in preparation for the breeding season, brought a bunch of garbage into the nest in the form of ropes, rags, plastic, etc. All this poses a great threat to future chicks, please, while there are no eggs yet, remove this garbage from the nest🙏 Thank you in advance❗
@Anney88 All that you have said is already information we know and thank you. If you would like to discuss further please call me so it’s just not messages like this 239-825-1679.
Do traps work on all pine beetle species?
Need to make sure the correct pheromone for the targeted species is used! That is key
Hey, I’m a certified master Arborist and my specialty is keeping trees alive. Where do I get these?
Sorry for the delay! Happy to be of help, email us: [email protected]
Pretty birds, ps where did you get that feeder? I need one like that.
Amazon….Audubon Caged Feeder
I believe I bought it at home depot
That's incredible. I've seen tilapia go down before, but a bass!?
Yup, it was massive!
Terrible to see someone disturbing a nest like this , just awful
Not disturbing, observation to collect data. Thank you
@@nativebirdboxesinc.6354Maybe put a camera inside so you don’t have to poke it with a stick next year
@baddnurse5443 Appreciate your comment as we do all. That was an extremely gentle touch it adjust the a learning observation for others to hear as the process occurs. No harm done. If it was a ‘poke’ you would have seen a different reaction which we would never have done. Cameras are fun and diabolic. Thank you
Hi
This alligator looks like he is getting a great back scratching.
Sweetest little birds. I raised a clutch of bobwhites and enjoyed every minute. They’re a bit feisty toward each other once they reach adulthood, but these can be completely hand-tamed and love being handled.
Cool! Thanks for sharing
We have flying squirrels up here in the Georgia mountains. They make a distinct squeak when they’re out and about at night. They seem to be mostly nocturnal.
Sure thing on the nocturnal part! Family property in Ellijay we see them too
I wonder if the hawk suffered a snakebite while hunting. Sure hope it turned out well for this beautiful bird!
Agree 💯
This I have experienced. They do move their babies to another location after been discovered.
So intuitive!!
Awesome 👏🏻 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Indeed!
Awesome 👏🏻 / what size nest box do you use?
Standard recommended for ESOW with the 3” size entrance holes. With that said, a skinny female will scoot into a 2” woodpecker unit that has been slightly scalloped entrance hole
@@nativebirdboxesinc.6354 thank you so much for the info.

If those golf courses would not exist that would be perfect 🙌
Well, it’s a great sport and use of land! Especially when used properly. 🙌🏼🙌🏼
