  The comic is from Hot Wheels Highway 35 World Race series cars. I believe each car came with a different comic.

  Nice collection. Are you going to do another part? The monster trucks with the rubber tires are getting quite expensive. I love the service vehicles (Police, fire, rescue, city workers etc.) You defiantly have some cool vehicles like busses, Winnebago and camper. I've never been able to find those in the wild. The gold one at the end of the video is a MG TF and it might be a sun color changer. Take it outside and if the seats turn red you have a color changer, which is cool. I can help you a little with the identification. Micro machines 4x4 have smaller hard tires and suspension Turbo wheels look like monster trucks but they have gold rims and no suspension Micro Lights will light up when you push down on them. You can replace the battery In the micro lights. Micro machines deluxe vehicles have opening doors, hoods and trunks Micro machines Insider are cars that open up and have smaller cars inside. Micro Machines Private Eyes have the looking window on top.

  I have some complains. - First, 50th and 55th sets colors are almost the same. It could've been other colors like pink or red for 55th. - Second, AFAIK 50th's chase which is 67' Camaro had no opening front trunk unlike the latest release from Vintage series. - Third, 51st chase so far until this year is still the worst, which is a toilet car named Gotta Go. - Fourth, there are inconsistancy in chase releases, for example from 50th to 54th we had a single chase car but starting from 55th we had two, one for each mix. Mattel should've released two mix and one mix should contain real car for chase and fantasy for the other (and by fantasy i don't mean donut goofy car or something, maybe like the latest Raijin or something cool). With that being said, so far i've collected Nitro Tailgater from 54th, Unimog from 55th mix 2 and Raijin from 56th mix 1. My favorite is probably VW T1 from 55th mix 1 just because it has removable top gimmick (yes, i only collect chase cars from each sets, simply because they're hardest to find while the rest is too easy).

  I absolutely loved my micromachines as a kid. When I saw that colorful logo on the pegboard at the store I got really excited. I thought it was going to be something I could enjoy again, this time with my son! I was really disappointed when I looked closer. They looked horrible!! I had to google them when I got home to see if it was just me imagining them to look better than they where. Nope… the new ones aren’t even close to the old one’s quality. I was thinking of buying some of the old monster trucks to have for my son (he has like 25-30 monster jam 1:64 scale trucks). It may sound crazy, but the trucks having different names and colors has really helped his speaking abilities. He’s 2 and knows all his colors and is stringing 5-6 words together a lot better. He knows every one of the trucks by name even. His favorite ones are the “Monster Truck Dirt Squad Wedge (or whichever one it’s name is)”. He has to say all five words every time he says it’s name(he just does, we don’t make him.. he just likes saying it that way). Man I love this kid! He may not be the smartest 2 year old in the world, and I’m fine with that. As long as he is happy and wants to learn, then I’m happy. Nice collection!
