  I really like these decor ideas for Halloween - it's so easy to find those little houses at yard sales - the same with old pictures - if you can't find spider webs, you could always paint them with a thin brush!

  So sorry this happened to you. Rest up the best you can to take care of yourself the rest will work itself out. Just take one day at a time its all you can do. The Alice book was amazing Maybe update us on the community board when you feel up to it. Hugs to you.

  Good morning, Katherine. I am newish here and am loving your content. I am so sorry that you have fallen and are dealing with temporary, yet difficult, limitations. Hoping for your sake it passes quickly. I am curious what do you love about the mourning collection pieces? I am dealing with so much change the last 4 plus years (divorce, identity, death, new baby, elderly caretaking - and I know others are in a similar boat too) that I am trying to refind my inner happiness and peace and am realizing with each passing day that I love to collect and always have. I believe we and many many others share this calling. I adore antiques, although not learned yet. I just love discovering and finding these special things that are well-delighted in nostalgia. I love the Crayola piece btw! I love Halloween and the like. Thank you for being a light for me and I am sure many others. I am now a single mother and taking care of my mother as well as 4 fur babies. I was wondering if this a full time job for you - the reselling? I am asking for myself. I need a way forward out of this mourning period (pun intended). Thank you once again. I hope that you heal as quickly as your passion for all things from the past and present.

  Reselling and KZread is a hobby for me. I work full-time. I like mourning items because they are pieces of pure love and loss. A last act of great love and wanting to hold onto someone. I find it beautiful and I will take care of them moving forward.

  I love your sense of style! You've given me some ideas to try. I made a jewelry collage, similar to the one your friend made, for my mother. It was made with some of her old jewelry and some of my deceased father's jewelry (belt buckles, bolos, tie tacks, political pins, etc.), and bits and bobs that represent her life adventures (square dancing, St. Paul/Nagasaki Sister City trip that they made, living in Australia for 2 years, representations from most of the mid-west states where she has lived, family birthstones). I used an old heart-shaped valentine's chocolates box for the base. I wish I could show it to you. She loves it. I will have to visit the store Hunt & Gather Antiques some time. I believe it is in St. Paul?

You are such a sweet soul and I know you will get through this. I am proof that tough battles can be won. I am a 5 year ovarian cancer survivor and I never thought I would still be here, but I am.   Yeah miss pam and arianna. Im super sensative and my family doesnt understand. They kind of shun it. And it hurts. But dont get me wrong my daughters are so great to me including me in many activities. But when i get emotional silence. I probably freaked them out as children who want to see mama cry and now since my boyfriend of 15 years died i am all alone too. I dont mind being alone but sometimes i do get lonely and sad😢are you able to push with your other foot. You are in my thoughts all the time you will get by and you will get better . Try not to be so sad that you jump in the well of darkness. 😊❤❤❤❤❤when one door closes another one opens😊

  Katherine, So sorry about your accident. A broken foot, sprained foot and 6days in the hospital….yikes! I hope you’re feeling as good as you look. You look great and your attitude is inspiring! You must have missed your furry sweetie pies something awful! I’m sure they missed you. The auction items were interesting. I once had that same key holder. It held my car key, house key and garage door key. A blast from the past. I think the auction box was a great deal. Can’t wait to see the marble toy in action. It really looks like fun and the cat pull toy is purrfection. Hope you continue to heal and feel better and please don’t try to do too much. 🩷 Linda

  Hope you are healing well! I just tripped on an uneven pavement at a gas station on Sunday. No one saw me and I laid there assessing myself to make sure nothing was broken but I hit both knees and hit my head on the wall of the building. The cashier heard a "Bonk" and looked out the window & saw my legs so a couple customers ran out and helped me up. Otherwise who knows how I would've actually got myself off the ground LOL. Nothing was broken but my pride luckily (some bruising & a little knot on the noggin). Please heal and get well soon, Katherine! So sorry you had a spill! Love seeing your finds & can't wait for more! ❤.
