    O wow. I had no idea. This mount was a little awkward to wear at first but after a few wesr sessions I got used to it. This with the Action 3/4 cameras (due to their lightweightness) is like the best. It doesn't allow your camera to move. I normally use some sort of external mic when I wear this so I've never heard any mount noises while using this.

    @@Max_Tyson hello. So I do not have my Ulanzi kit with me to walk you through the process. - the microphones are supposed to automatically connect to the receiver when you plug the receiver into a device and leave the microphone inside of the case. when you open the case, the microphones SHOULD synch to the receiver. I do not remember how to make the microphones connect to the receiver. I will have to wait till Saturday before I get to my Ulanzi 20T. I understand you lanzi has done a terrible job in translating how to operate this microphone kit. Everything I know I learned from translating what was in their book and my knowledge of electronics. *Try plugging the receiver into a device like your cellphone. Now try being the button on the microphone down for maybe 20-25sconds to see if the lights change and if they do play around with the button on the microphone. • @Jonasegway
    @Jonasegway20 күн бұрын

    @@akimdanial you can get the video from our camera to your phone without the quick reader. You only need to download the app and follow the instructions on how to connect your camera to your phone wirelessly. The quick reader works in two ways. 1. You put your SD card into the quick reader and then connect your quick reader to your camera with the USB-C port. When you use the quick reader like this, the video will save onto the SD card inside of the quick reader. 2. After you record the videos into the quick reader, you can disconnect the quick reader from your camera and connect it to your phone. After you connect the quick reader to your phone, your phone will ask you if you want it to open the insta360 app so it could find the files. After your first time doing this, the app will ask you what folder do you want it to look in for your videos so you will need to select that folder. After that, you should be able to do quick edits with the insta360 app and then export the videos you've edited into your phone's internal memory.

    Does it affect the quality of the video

  • @Jonasegway
    @Jonasegway20 күн бұрын

    These will always have a slight effect on your video for the simple fact it is a lens over a lens. You may see a slight 'wave' in the video if you pan your video while editing in post and in extreme sunlight/night recording with bright sources you might see any dust/fingerprints or any other contamination that is on your lens cover in the video. Did any of these sound horrible? Yes. Has anyone ever mentioned or complained about any of these things in my videos where I used a 360° camera to record? Absolutely not! 360° footage is typically either "fun or interesting" to watch and that's what engages your audience. The only time I could see the effects of lens covers affecting your video is if you had something as extreme as a bug splatter that hit your lens protector and you didn't even try to clean it up.

    I bought the PGYTECH CapLock neck mount and I must say it is an absolute rubbish! Put a camera on it and walk around in a quiet street. Or walk around in a store where no music is playing and quiet. Don't pace around at 1 mph like a 90 year old. Walk like you going somewhere. There's too much gap between the removable camera holder and the base hence it wiggles. Therefore at every step you make the microphone picks up the noise as the two plastic pieces bump together. Very annoying to say the least. If you ride a motorcycle or you're in the city or visit places where there's noise around you, chances are you won't hear it. I think PGYTECH did a bad job with this design!

    My man. I am completely confused as to what you are talking about. I mean I hear what you are saying but I am not actually seeing what you are saying. I will make a video for you right now as a KZread short to show you these things have absolutely no shaking. I mean are you talking about this exact same mount I am showing in this video? What camera are you using? What do you have your audio settings at? Noise cancelling on/off? Stuff like that

  • @princi-pal
    @princi-pal6 күн бұрын

    @@Jonasegway I'm not trying to criticize your presentation or that you happy with the mount. Maybe I got a bad unit. Yes, it is the exact same mount. I have a DJI Osmo Action 3. Yes, I listen to the audio with a noise cancelling headphone. But I think it's easy to see. Hold the base unit (the one that has the loop) firmly in your hand and with the other hand try to wiggle the unit that you attach the camera to. You will see there's some play in between the two so it wiggles. I only have a single unit so I cannot compare it to another. Maybe some units have more gaps than others and therefore the wiggle room is different...? Who knows.

  • @Jonasegway
    @Jonasegway6 күн бұрын

    @princi-pal no I totally understand. I made a follow up video on this last week I think. I can feel the gap you are talking about. It also wasn't loud enough to ruin the audio in the video. I didn't use my Action 3 but I did use my Action 4, GoPro, Insta360 x4 and AcePro with their built in internal mics. If I specifically listened for the sound you are describing I would hear it with the Action 4 and the GoPro. It hardly with the GoPro. So far anyone who watched that video and/or commented on the video (I think one dude commented on the video and two guys hit me up in the DM's) told me they didn't hear any noise from the mount. I normally use this mount while using a wireless microphone so it wouldn't be something I noticed. In that video, I walked and ran with the cameras mounted to the mount to simulate a worse case situation of usage and the audio wasn't horrible at all.

    Ooo yes sir I love my gadgets. The drone in this video is a skydio 2+. They quit production of this drone so anything you find would be leftover stock. So I still recommend getting it? Yes. They will still support repairs and stuff. Its a learning curve type of drone meaning it is an autonomous flyer with the option to purchase a remote (you will need a phone to use as a screen for this remote) and a 'remote beacon' which is what I used in this video. Put the beacon in your pocket and the drone will follow the beacon and you as a visual subject. I won't get to much Into it but my go-to camera mic setup for my work vlogs ended up being the Action 4/DJI mic 2 combo. It's a very powerful combo and works 90% seamless with each other. Not to mention the full control you get with the Mic 2 via menu system of the Action 4. It's a hell of a package. The scooter is a hell of a scooter for sure. After a few years I feel like I am still getting my moneys worth

    No. My glass lid does not have a small hole. However, sometimes I will use the lid that does have a hole and I have not noticed any difference. If you want to be extra safe, I would say if you have a lid with a small hole to steam your vegetables one minute longer. But I truly do not believe those small holes make much of a difference when you look at how many vegetables you have in the basket versus how long they need to become steamed vegetables. Obviously when dealing with thicker vegetables like carrots you want to steam them a little bit longer than 8 minutes but more for like 10 minutes. But don't be too alarmed by the whole otherwise

    Can we go underwater with only the sticky structure ( with no removable lens guards ) ? Is the adhesive enough resistant to go underwater ?

  • @Jonasegway
    @Jonasegway2 ай бұрын

    The adhesive is definitely strong enough to withstand being used underwater. Something I would take note of: if you are swimming underwater with the sticky adhesive part still attached to the camera and the hand that you use to swim is the hands you have the camera in, I can see the pressure from the water of you swimming could slowly weaken that adhesiveness of the sticky lens base. That these lens guards are not for underwater use. I could see the salt in the water weakening the compound that the sticky lens base is made of overtime. So unless you are using it in freshwater, I would do dare say to probably invest in an underwater case if you think you might be using it underwater. But you can use it if you are in a pinch like let's just say you are on a road trip and you want to get in a pool. It can take being inside of a pool and swimming around but I would wash it with distilled water for the purest water you can find immediately to get any harsh minerals off of the camera and a sticky lens guard's base

The best Idea I could come up with for your use is one of these and wirelessly connect it to your action 4 DJI Mic 2 Transmitter (Pearl White), Wireless Microphone with Intelligent Noise Cancelling, 14-Hour Internal Recording, 6-Hour Battery, Magnetic Attachment, Bluetooth Microphone, KZread, Vlogs a.co/d/9MNAE0h This will allow you to get very good audio and you could have both the camera aaaand the transmitter plugged into your power bank while still getting clear....great audio

    Bro, this video is straight up to the point without the b.s. lol Im convinced to get this now. My biggest issue with the sticky guards is they are permanent-ish which means if you're using the camera in a hot or cold environment, the camera lens will fog up inside and ruin your footage and there is nothing u can do to clean until it cools down. It's because the lens can't breathe between the guards! My question is, have you had any fogging issues with these removable guards? P.s. No one is able to answer this for me. Thanks anyway. Great Video

    First off...you are very welcome! Second, these removable sticky lens WILL fog up when used in a humid environment. But....this is why the regular/original STICKY lens covers are still around. Those lens covers form a tight seal that prevents humidity/water from entering the gap between the lens guard and the actual lens. So if you live or will be operating your x3 near water, I would just use the r Original sticky lens guards instead of these removable ones. The good thing is the original sticky lens guards comes with two extra sticky adhesive rings so you could reapply the lens guards in the even you ever needed to take them off.

    I had the exact same thing happen to my 360 on a small-rig clamp. It was horrifying. Being behind me, my first indication was the clunking sound. My lens looks just like yours. I was hemming and hawing about getting the X4 before that and that just sealed the deal. I just ordered the PGYTech clamp from watching your video :) and subscribed. Loved the depth of your video.

    O man thanks for sharing! Ever since ruining my 1" I vowed not to use any 360 cam with them anymore. I also added my cameras to my insurance so I don't go through this anymore. I think you'll like this clamp as it is very very sturdy and strong. You don't need to tighten it super hard at all. Just give it a good nudge, a good tank to make sure it's settled and ride on!

    The small rig version doesn't have ridges on the swivel balls so even cranked they have a tendency to loosen up. That is the reason I swore never to get a swivel again. I like the dual 90s layout, seems far more secure. Should be here Monday.

    @OldTechNerd ahhh I see you know what's good. I've even taken it on a test run with my RS 1" and this mount holds it all nice and steady! I definitely agree with you 100%. It also doesn't damage paint or whatever finish the body panel you mount it to as well

    Yes no problem So I dont have any experiencr with the VIRB 30 nor did I even know if it's existence. So I did some digging around after your comment and found out that camera has a 10hz system which is the same as the DJI and both of insta360's GPS remotes. Thanks for bringing that camera to my attention. I'm going to check it out myself

    O man there are waaay too many variables to tell. Like waaaaay too many but if I simplified it and emulated what I did with mine with a 24ah setup, I would say 50-55miles TOPS. My Nami is a 32ah scooter and weighs 30lbs more then my Victor and gave me about 25miles more range just to put it into perspective.

    Remember....that's perfect condition, eco friendly riding. Having at least 45-48psi in the tires, your body weight can't be too much more then 195lbs (the lighter you are from there, the better your range), it can't be pretty windy, your route can't really have any sorta serious hills, delicate acceleration, onboard ights turned off, healthy battery.....stuff like that. After 3kmiles on the odometer I am willing to bet my 30ah Victor won't give me more then 60-65miles of range.

    I thought the Ulanzi UW Mic 20T sounded really good. Even with it under your hoodie. Also liked the DJI wireless mic. But I do wonder what kind of distance you can get from it before it cuts out.

  • @Jonasegway
    @Jonasegway2 ай бұрын

    Well how far do you plan on walking from the receiver? The Ulanzi worked from so far away, when I did a video on it one of my viewers was wondering where I was while hearing me talk in the intro Iuntil they finally saw me appearing as I got closer to the camera lol. The ulanzi impresses me Everytime I pick it up to use it with its sound quality. Ans the battery last forever. I am still messing around with the DJI mic 2 system. I've been using it in my truck and with the GoPro in the media mod, it isn't doing very well. Using just the setting of the mic system. It is definitely a 'Hot' mic system. If you use it in a noisy environment, it struggles to keep the audio quiet with just your voice. And when you are in a very noisy environment and you use the noise canceling feature it makes your voice sound digital and unnatural. Loud environments meaning (83-85db ambient noise)

    @@Jonasegway Was just curious. Right now I'm using an Sony ECM-W2BT with my Sony ZV-1. There are times I need to get some distance to display an object or landscape. I think the furthest I got was about 60ft. Worked fine. Never tried a true distance test on it.

    Ahhhh o yea I think the Ulanzi was connected and picking up my voice as clear as day from several hundred feet. I was far far and I had my back turned as I walked away from the camera with the receiver. Not to mention being able to insert up to a 32gb mini as card in to internally record your voice is just super super good! It only records 16bits of audio but Ive used this thing in 35mph winds with the microphone clipped inside my hoodie and you didn't hear a spec of wind in the audio but heard me clear as day. Very very impressive. The DJI mic is fun and versatile. I was thinking I will use it in my helmet when I am motovlogging for audio even though I think I have a pretty good system dialed in already
