@@ModifiedRC0877 yeah 8S is heavy and crazy. Big batteries. Stock modified prop on this run. I knew what was gonna happen, I just wanted to see what would happen as far as how it drives and handles. Just for the laughs, for which there were many laughs absolutely worth the heat build up, My normal setup is 6S with a mild low rake prop. Runs cool, feels nearly the same speed, still pulls 0-60 in under 2 seconds at 2+ G’s

FYI just to let you know at the end when you said it's finely up to temp that's because when you ran your tank empty the motor goes lean witch encase temp. You definitely need to lean it out .

I had mini E-Revos and the shortcourse trucks. They were a pain to work on and had to many cheap parts that needed upgrading. Like plastic ball ends. I do have big hands so I know that was a factor! 😅 To me it look like the associated handled real well and I have thought about buying the buggy kit version. I really think it's up to the terrain someone drives on as to which one to get. The mini E-Revo could use a refresh and price drop.

Battery amperage output or "C" rating is certainly a real feature within Lipo battery performance. The issue isn't whether or not it's an actual thing so much as it is the manufacturers grossly overrate the metrics. Or more accurately flat-out lying about them. A lipo's amp output is determined by a complex set of variables ranging from design and materials to quality of construction. Every battery does have a legitimate "C" performance metric. Unfortunately, the only way to determine that number is by rigorously testing them yourself in a controlled environment. You certainly won't get that information from the pack manufacturers! :)

Watts Law is Amps x Volts = Watts, and Ohms Law is Volts = Amps x Resistance, which is IR in the lipo world. C ratings play no role here. Amps are pulled from the motor, not pushed from the battery. The battery will never give more than what the motor is asking for based on throttle input. All of these factors, watts, resistance, volts, and amps, can all be measured and calculated. C ratings mean nothing. The only argument I’ve heard for C ratings is, C rating represents the most amp draw the battery can safely sustain before any cell degradation occurs. I can see that, but most people don’t understand C ratings that way.

@@knightshado wing is a stock Sledge wing. Wing mount is some random aluminum one I got from a swap meet. You can use a regular ERevo wing mount but you’ll have to trim the body. If you want to use a sledge wing you’ll have to trim the front section of the wing. Screw holes line up though!

Guys! I have a whole fleet update video I made and edited, but it turned out to be wicked long. Over 3 hours! Due to technical limitations of my phone and computer, the damn thing just won’t export. I figure it would be overkill anyway, plus I’ll be selling some of them soon anyway. So I figured I’d shelf it for now and continue making shorter, more simplistic videos.

I have the cousin to the 14T the 14B and it’s a fun car. My issue with it is parts availability and aftermarket. The best idea out there for it is a different motor mount than the one that comes stock. Otherwise a tough little car.

Good video. Spektrum sent me new 150a ecs and new AVC for my Arrma. I try to follow your instructions and it was way more helpful than the Spektrum techs. However, my radio after bind and calibrate, you turn all the system off and turn it back on and the receiver doesn’t wake up. There are times if I wait 1 minute, the servo will wake up but times none. Any idea?

@@davidlee_thomas7247 you have to make sure the receiver isn’t agitated during boot up. Sometimes the receiver is sensitive to radio inputs during boot up too like if you keep wiggling the steering wheel during boot up it may not wake up until you stop messing with the wheel. Sometimes if the radio is dirty like inside the steering wheel and trigger potentiometer on the board, it could be telling the receiver that the channels aren’t neutral yet

I bought my pops a whole new bigger motor esc the whole 9 finally got it togeather minor chassis trims a being tuned., got it home an decided to give it a whirl and twisted/snapped the rear axle shaft lol., he’s now got metal ones on the way

I own the original 2010 Emaxx Brushless 3908 (Silver). 1/10 scale with a Castle Creations Momba Monster ESC and NeuCastle 1515 1y 2200kv Motor!!! Scary Fast, Scary Fun!!! ☮️

Ive went through 3 of these 2 in 1 combos. Shaft keeps breaking. I have the 2mm pinion. It also says on the site. (Not recommended for typhon/granite grom) I think because its a heavier car
