I’ve fallen in love with I phone photography and I use the golden spiral almost everytime. I need to familiarize myself other composition styles and hope my photos will continue to improve.

I wish full spectrum was the standard/default, and all lenses just came with a UV/IR filter to make it look "normal". Instead, if I want one...I have to pay to get an already expensive device modded and warranty-voided.

High quality video? Where on youtube is any quality gopro footage, outside of maybe the gopro channel with high amounts of edits. Gopro is so blurry and washed out. The improved version in this videobis still so bad. Not the fault of this channel. Its the gopro. Like looking through a muddy windshield. I have a hero 10 . These things are like 640 x 480 from 25 years ago. Not even close to 1080. Pause in the video and look at the blur and washed out dull colors. Why cant gopro even match a 20 year old cell phone camera??

Why does UV photography sucks? I'm interested in using it to record river streams, do you think it could it be useful?

I want one for astrophotography, but it'd also be funny to do a UV filter, go down to the beach, and take pictures to make it look like all the people with sunscreen on are in black face

i made one myself using the bottom of a soda can, drilling a hole in the domed part, and putting aluminum foil over it (and of course poking a very small hole in it). its very blurry and takes 15+ seconds to get a bright picture indoors.

UV photography is really useful for certain objects in nature which are invisible in the visible range, but respond in the UV. This is how bees and hummingbirds pick out certain flowers. So you get a "bee's eye" view of the world in UV. Also, talk to dermatologists about UV photography. UV reveals skin damage not normally visible. It's a little disconcerting, actually. So... Loren hasn't read David Prutschi's book on UV photography, nor tried to take photographs of various light spectra and suddenly seen previously invisible lines. It's almost magical.

Pinhole lenses have one advantage over glass lenses: they transmit all frequencies of light. Most regular lenses block UV due to their coatings, the type of glass used in their lenses, and the cement used to assemble them. Given that dedicated UV lenses are about $5000, using a pinhole really makes sense when trying to photograph in the UV or IR ranges where conventional lenses might have issues. Then you're only limited by your sensor or film.

The cheaper rout is getting the godox sa-17 and sa-p, will do basically the same thing but in the more budget way (also all the accessories are cheaper) but of course the build quality is not as premium as this one.

You should not be talking about ISO in this video at ALL! While boosting ISO you are not exposing more, you are just boosting your signal which is the same as doing it in post production! ISO does not change outcome at all! It just amplifies the signal but does not affect exposure! If you shoot two photos with iso 50 and second with iso 12000 and in post you crank photo with iso 50 brightness up you have the same outcome as iso 12000, there is no difference in look and dynamic range. So this is why in this video to change exposure so it makes sense what you are saying we should only use aperture and shutter speed!!!! Then it really matters and gives us better picture This is really important. (Ideally ISO should be lowest and you should use tripod, ISO can make your photo overexposed if signal will be to much overdriven, and then you won't be able to go down in post)
