  Brothers in arms generally means soldiers. This is hauntingly beautiful. Love the echoes, Tim’s lows and the video. Tim and Chance looked like ghosts in the windows. The song is about the Falklands War, England vs Argentina in the 80’s. It was done by Dire Straits originally.

  This song laments wars and the fact they don't solve any problems, so soldiers are sent to war to fight each other for stupid reasons. Yet men die. Like the soldier speaking to his friends as he dies. Veterans know the futility of war, so they no longer desire to be soldiers, that is brothers-in-arms, no matter the nation.

  The bass can sound quite different depending on what they're going for. In this song, Tim takes on the role of a soldier dying on the battlefield, hence that deep/dark, yet breathy, vocal is called for and makes sense.👍

  @@AlexIngram2003 Thanks 😊 Oh I was going to say you like bass I think you would like Home Free’s original after hearing Home Free’s Sea Shanty Melody people at Ubisoft approached them with a great opportunity to write a shanty for Skull And Bones a video game they are releasing soon.Which Chance did write a Lyric video called Skull And Bones.Chance has a love for sea shanties and anything to do with the sea also gaming so it was perfect for him.They also sang a shorter version at Ubisoft Live Premiere.It’s beyond epic. A lot of reactors do both the lyric and live in the same reaction because the live is much shorter and you get to see who is doing what.

  "you'll no longer burn to be brothers-in-arms" means they won't have the great desire to be brothers once the fighting is over and they are back home. People have been acting like dicks to veterans since the 60s. It is nothing new, and it is still unacceptable. There are an average of 22 veteran suicides EVERY DAMN DAY. But violence toward disrespectful people gains you nothing. "You did not desert me"...brothers don't leave you behind, they take care to bring the wounded home, they take care of each other, always. Tim doesn't 'hype' his low notes as much as Geoff does.

  Great reaction. He has several videos on how to sing low. His biggest and best advice though.... If it hurts don't do it. Also practice practice practice. He said even now he has to condition his voice several days before he sings the songs. More if he has to go super low like in Voiceplay Valhalla Calling where he sings nothing but low and B0 3 times. One of which he holds for 15 seconds. This video was filmed in 3 separate locations on 3 different days in the Orlando Florida area where he's lived since middle school.

  He was born in Virginia and then they moved to Florida. His bottom chest voice is F#1, beyond that are subharmonics. In Valhalla Calling, he did 3 sustained B0s. Stay in there for the end. He has a message.

  He was a great man and he new pain as we all do at times he had more than his share but I have as well he has a true grasp of the song I can hear the hurt in his voice yeah his wife is his sweetest Freind johnny was such a good man he was one of my favorite singers I'm glad u had the honer of knowing him you were very lucky and to have been around him much you were so lucky bro I love johnny I'm sorry to hear about your mom bro I lost mine two yrs ago both of my older and younger brothers I am the only boy left in my family now but just know your not alone god is with us I lost my only son 6 yrs ago I miss him so bad but god carrys me thru the sad and u can lean on god he's with us I've had him talk to me he said to tell all strengthen love and faith in him the end is near but we got time to get right with him u are a good guy I feel it you need a friend I'm here just holler I'm Calvin I'm older guy but I know you have pain but trust me god loves with true love hold tight bro
