Thanks for the video! How to apply and find job offers please 😊
Check out www.eslcafe.com they usually have a lot of job postings
For ESL this is misleading...Subject teachers yes...Oh plus you must be white/ native...I don't know of a Public school that pays that International school surely
ok thanks
white expats got used to that way of thinking. If you're Black American and have good qualifications. Stand your ground, and don't let them play that game if they try it. I came to China almost 8 years ago from a music teaching background in New York. They like the sound of my voice, my past experience, and I've always been in demand. I got the TEFL 120 during my second year when they started tightening requirements for teaching English. I'm at a University in Hangzhou now.
Wow you don’t teach much classes compared to other pretty chill just need to wake up early lol
I definitely can't complain 😂
Great salaries tbh I am pumped 😂 when it comes to TEFL certificate, What company you guys are getting it from? Thanks brother
I did mine through a company called Oxford seminars when I was still living in Canada but there a many other ones online.
@@thefitxpat382 Appreciate you for the reply
Hello .. Enjoyed your video. Are non English native speaker teachers also are allowed to teach English in China. I have a bachelor degree in English language and a 2 year teaching experience in a primary school.
If you have a degree and the work experience as well as a tefl certification you can get a job as a teacher if you are non native speaking

Thank you. Yes it was definitely good. I will go back there for sure. Especially for the beer.
Film with me this Sunday for UFC and the pool. It will be a great drunken summertime.
let's see what happens. Germany and Italy are both playing early Sunday morning. I want to watch the games. I think during the day I'll just relax at hooleys and the pool. Don't know if I can be bothered to film that day.
As a fellow Canadian who is planning on making the jump from Thailand to China to teach ESL, this was a great video. I was struggling to figure out what my salary could be. Thanks a bunch
No problem. Glad to help
So cool! Thanka for sharing!
cheers. No problem
cool video. im from canad and visiting GZ right now. you aint lying about the high cost of living over there.
It's definitely getting out of hand back home
Great video! How much do shared bikes cost per day?
For the shared bikes you pay every time you use one. It's 1.5rmb per time. so about 20-25 cents
$11.00 for ALL OF THAT FOOD???😮 @05:12 In America we'd pay about $30 EASILY...
Yeah. The cost of food over here is definitely much nicer than back in America for sure.
Can you please write the address of this place
I'm not sure what it is. It is at Windows of the world in Shenzhen. I think if you google Windows of the world Shenzhen it should give you the address in Chinese
Hello nice video! Do i need a Fishinglizenz in China?
to be honest I'm not sure. I don't think so
Wow that great not much people but durning weekend it has too many people
I'm a bit surprised you say 40k for university gigs - I was of the understanding they'd be at the lower end of the spectrum. Thanks for your general advice and encouragement though. Cheers
He was making the point that if you have a MASTERS DEGREE AND MANY YEARS EXPERIENCE then your options and chances of getting a higher income are greater . He mentioned Universities in passing while making the point you'll have even more options with a master's degree qualification. He was talking off the top of his head and listing examples of a variety of options, not making a specific point about general expectations for salaries at University related jobs.

Wow thanks for the info. It was very helpful . I’m considering teaching English in China as well.
Hey Fit Expat! Thanks soooo much. I was one of the people who requested this video! Ive never had a you tuber make a video after my comment before. Thanks so much i really appreciate it. This was soo helpful. My favorite part is when you say "eeee-asy!!! Eeeee-asy!!" Over and over😂 . Seriously, I guess im in that 30,000 rmb range so this is really affirming of my hopes. And your positive recommendation at the end is fantastic. For some reason Ive come across quite a few negative you tubers regarding teaching in China, I dont know why. My instinct was telling me it was more like what you just described. Thanks for the tip on the Tier 1 city also. Yeah makes sense, im currently teaching in a remote town in Vietnam and it's been good , dont get me wrong but ive been going a bit crazy also. Exactly what you say, "choice of food... ability to have a conversation in English with other foreigners etc" is really valuable. So thanks so much again. I love that this will be "eeeasy!" 😂🙏❤️
No problem. I’m glad to help. Good luck with the job search. Also thank you for the support of the channel 😊

quick question im in china zhuji rn... i am travelling to thailand this week but want to send some money to another ali pay (wise) whilst out the country is this possible? ive heard using ali pay out the country is a pain? i have a china card with union pay that could withdraw from atm in thai maybe?
If you are sending money on alipay to another alipay account that is registered with a Chinese bank card it shouldn’t be a problem. The problem is paying with alipay at stores or businesses outside of China. Unfortunately foreigners can’t do it you need a Chinese ID card. However sending money to another person registered in China isn’t a problem. When I was in Canada I sent money to people in China on WeChat and alipay when I had to pay my rent and bills in China. It worked
@@thefitxpat382 nice one... makes sense, i also figured now i can use those union pay machines atm withdraw? do you know much about the limits of those worst case i take money out atm in like 5k rmb limits id imagine

Would you mind sharing how to secure a teaching job in China?
Hello the best thing to do is look online www.eslcafe.com. you can browse and see of any openings available. They can also help to get you in contact with recruiters. You will then need to have your degree notarized and then authenticated by the Chinese consulate in your home country as well as complete a criminal record check and also have it notarized then authenticated by the Chinese consulate in your country.
Does it still exist in SH?
I'm not sure. I haven't been to Shanghai since 2020. I hope so.

可能哦,主要是西方国家的造谣诬蔑中国太多了,现在外国人在中国受到的礼遇比以前差很远。 以前中国对外国人非常友好,现在情况变了。 都是拜BBC,CNN,Foxnews等所赐
Maybe, it is mainly due to the fact that Western countries have made too many rumors and slandered China, and now foreigners are treated far more less as good as before in China. China used to be very friendly to foreigners, but now things are changing. Thanks to the disgrace done by the BBC,CNN,Foxnews, etc and by western politicians.

Hello! I have a Bachelor’s degree and will be getting my TEFL soon. I would love to move to China, but have become a bit hesitant because I’ve heard some other english teachers in China saying that the future for foreigners in this field isn’t looking very bright considering recent policy shifts regarding training centers, as well as the general sentiment not wanting foreigners there anymore. is there any truth to this?
Hello. Yes it’s true about the training centres. However if you have a degree and tefl you could get a job at a normal school. Trust me it’s much better than a training centre anyways. Monday to Friday and all of the Chinese holidays off with pay.

Hello! I've been teaching English in Korea for a year now. I'm curious about the approximate monthly salary for native English teachers (from the US, UK, Australia, etc.) in China and whether accommodation expenses are covered.
Hello the salary can range between 25000-35000 rmb or even more depending on qualifications . As for accommodation it depends on the school. Some schools will provide it.
Money seems pretty decent. Do you save a bit?
@@ihaveaidsish If you’re a qualified teacher in your home country you’ll earn significantly more than 35000 before tax. International schools in China all offer either accomodation or an accomodation allowance plus many other benefits. I’ve been teaching for 28 years, 20 in Australia and 8 in China. Oh and yes you can save a LOT - on average I save 3000-4000 AUD each month.
