    Hi @marcoshuayai3995, with 'Details' Rob Moroto is referring to shots that show details of the property's rooms complementing the wide-angle shots of a room. Like from 6:08 where he illustrates the 6 shots for the kitchen and then adds 2 or 3 detailed shots of the fridge's side at 7:30.

    Hello @cindymedick, A possible cause might be the auto focus setting. Try to focus manually (MF) or set the auto focus to Single-shot AF (AF-S). Another reason could be that the camera would exceed the maximal possible shutter speed when taking the third shot. Hence it doesn't release the third exposure.

  • @PhotomatixHDR
    @PhotomatixHDR27 күн бұрын

    Hello @mrmarylandrealestate, On Sony cameras, the setting is called Self-timer during Bracketing. You'll find it in the main menu: - Navigate to MENU → (Shooting) → [Drive Mode] → [Bracket Settings] → [Self-timer during Bracketing]. It is the same page where you set the bracketing order and other settings related to bracketing.

    Unfortunately, the settings that I have already made in my new EOS R5 as instructed by previous other videos must have made a difference in the Quick Control screen that appears in the video above at 2:03. 1) In the top row I have no "OFF" text on the waving hand 2) No circle appears in the middle of my screen 3) On the bottom left, a framed image of camera and hand with extended finger appears, when touched it shows the text "Touch Shutter: Disable / Enable" 4) On the bottom line, the symbols for shutter speed, F-stop setting, and ISO setting appear framed (but not the exposure bracketing symbol). Pressing the INFO button three times will not lead me to the image of Quick Control screen seen at 2:12, but loads of symbols on both sides of the screen, plus various column and bar symbols. - Please advise me how to correct my false settings to be able to arrive at the screen image as at 2:12 in your video.

  • @PhotomatixHDR
    @PhotomatixHDRАй бұрын

    Hello @hannumononen6345, Sorry to hear that. Instead of strictly following the video in that case, focus on the relevant settings: 1. Manual Mode (M), 2. Number of bracketed shots, 3. Setting the EV spacing, and 4. Continuous Shooting Pressing the Info button should cycle through all available views. One of them is the screen at 2:02. However, ignore the circle (my individual setup) and the steady shot indicator. Not all indicators shown on the screen before entering the Quick Control screen are relevant for setting up exposure bracketing. If you see a different Quick Control screen or can't find it either, try setting EV spacing in the main menu: - Press the Menu button - Navigate to the red camera tab > page 2 > Exposure Comp./AEB - Dial 6 times to the right until the 3 markers show a 2 EV spacing (supposed you set 3 for the Number of bracketed shots) - Press the Set button to save, and the Menu button to exit

    IT MAKES NO SENSE! As Sony does exposure braketing via ISO change. Proper bracketing is about changing exposure, not sensitivity. For example shutter speed. 1\125 1\60 1\250. NOT THE SAME EXPOSURE AND DIFFERENT ISO, wtf Sony? Please help me. Ty.

  • @PhotomatixHDR
    @PhotomatixHDRАй бұрын

    You might check your ISO setting. If ISO is set to Auto, the camera varies ISO values, not the shutter speed. Set it to a low value of 100 to 800.

    How? is this process different for the newer Z7ii in my particular desired setup: That is, I want a 2-second delay when pressing shutter button and *then* execution of the bracketing photos -- but my finger, of course, won't be holding the shutter down at that point. Is this possible to arrange?

    Hello Peter, I have no access to the Nikon Z7 or the Z7ii, anymore. However, from my tests back then I know, you can select “Self-timer” instead of “Continuous H” (see 3:18). Then a single shutter press fires all 3 images after 2 or 10 sec. delay. Set the delay by Menu > Custom Settings Menu (pen icon)> Timers (c) > Self-Timer (c2) > Self-timer delay

  • @PhotomatixHDR
    @PhotomatixHDR2 ай бұрын

    If some or all of the images look the same it can have one or several of the following reasons: - The camera can't increase/decrease the shutter speed automatically, because it reached the upper or lower shutter speed limits - Exposure compensation (the top right dial) has been set inadvertently and prevents bracketing from working as expected - The mode dial is set to a setting other than M or A, or the camera is in S&Q or movie mode, not in photo mode - As Ryan mentioned, in certain outdoor scenarios it is hard to tell the difference between exposures when a 1 EV spacing was chosen - The bracketing settings did reset due to a restart of the camera

    Hi @Whizshot, I don't think so. However, you could try BRK S instead of BRK C combined with a self-timer. This is the closest you can get to the behaviour you envision. You can activate the self-timer by... Menu button > Tab 1 (camera) > Page 3/14 > Bracketing Settings > Selftimer during Bracket > Choose a 2, 5, or 10-second delay or Off to deactivate. When using the self-timer with this bracketing setting make sure to focus manually.

When shooting the video the camera was set to factory defaults. If the Q screen does not show up as at 2:09, you might set AEB in the main menu: Menu button > First red tab (Camera), page 3.
