Our services aim to be rich in biblical content, which we hope comes through in our singing, prayers, scripture readings, expository preaching, and celebration of baptism and the Lord's Supper.

Hey all, Pastor Chris here. Toward the back end of the sermon, in the context of speaking about why we need to have respect for authority as a God-given institution, I loosely group anarchism and libertarianism and suggest that they are not Christian options. This was an unscripted comment, and it was not well put. While I stand behind the idea that anarchism is not a faithful Christian option, libertarianism is a more complex discussion and shouldn't have been so casually thrown out. What I had in mind were certain extreme forms of libertarianism that see no value to human authority that extends beyond the slimmest mandate to ensure personal liberties are not encroached upon. I think that sort of extreme position is very difficult to square with the biblical teaching on human authority and government. But today, libertarianism is a broad spectrum of philosophies of competing and various merit. It would be unfair to paint with so broad a brush, and I apologize that my comments lend themselves to that interpretation. Blessings!

Playback volume/clarity for Chris' mic and podium mic were much better on Android phone than on TV or computer....hoping this might help troubleshoot?
The sound from Chris's mic and from the podium mic this week are super hard to hear...even with playback tv volume all the way maxed up... did some setting(s) change to cause that? Jameson's singing and guitar mic were much louder and clearer...Abighna's mic was in between (if having all that info is helpful 😁).
Technical issues killed the sound for the first part of the service. Jump to 31:25 to pick up the sound. The audio for the sermon is included there.

No, unfortunately. However, the sound kicks on at approximately 31:25. That includes the sermon.
