Thank you...........I tried three countdown timers for my fan. None of them would work. After I discovered your video I was able to rewire the wall switch and was able to get the countdown timer to work. Also had to remove the Plug n Play Module that came with the fan. It took me a long time to figure this one out. I also returned three countdown timers before I realized how the fan wiring was making it impossible for the timer to work. Wow... First time I have run into something like this. Thanks for the help.

I just bought the panasonic HX 20. I also bought a RODE external stereo microphone. I am new with this and have no clue. I mainly just shoot air shows for fun. Please give me some suggestions on where to put stuff for audio please. Also, somebody mentioned something about a book, maybe that you have????

This is great if the switch is in the room that you’re trying to control the humidity. What is the solution if the switch is in the outside wall of the bathroom?

interesting.. i have an issue with deep bass vibrations blurring my pan/tilt tripod shots during concerts, i will try this OIS in pan/tilt mode, maybe it clears up these artifacts.. also the occasional drunk bumping into my tripod!

When the timer module times out, what's the fan motor suppose to do? Turn off? Run at a lower cfm?

This video captures very important information at the tail end of the 3m30s to 4m43s section that is unfortunately missing from the installation manual, regarding how the unit operates when the "control switch" is in the on or off position. The control switch only causes the unit to be in "on" or "standby" mode, and cannot cause the unit to be "off" if the sensor built into the unit tells the unit to run. This is great news. The only way to force the unit into "off" mode, is to use the "service switch", which is likely to be the breaker. This important detail from this ~9 year old video should be clearly stated in the installation manual!

MISLEADING VIDEO!!! This fan is not capable of being “retrofitted in an existing drywalled ceiling. Notice how it starts out that way during removal of old fan, then after wiring of the fan (on a bench… lol), the fan is then installed onto a drywall free studded ceiling. I bought this unit and immediately returned. Panasonic… please state this fan is not for retrofit!
