Whats even crazier about the brute. Its literally been the same bike since they swapped the plastics on the prairie and came out with the 650 and 750i. It literally is the same drivetrain and frame since like 2005. Only changes they made were efi, and the shocks. In 09 they upgraded the 750brutes hp from 49-56ish by swapping the 650 heads on for better flow.

If you're hooking up solar power after switching to a lithium battery, it appears to be common knowledge that the solar port's connection is reverse polarity from the camper. So either switch those at the solar port, or reverse them at the battery. This is from the FB Luna page. Comments welcome if I'm mistaken. Thanks for the video, Brute!

Hey man ! Nice video, I have a 15min Battery discharge test here at work but I pushed it to 18min to watch a BF video ! haha There are lots of rocks, that's how I know you're in Nova Scotia haha Big Props to Miss Brute ! She did great on that rocky trail..... trails like that can be really difficult too, and add in an incline. Saying all that, that sure was a beautiful trail, I love the slow technical stuff. That's awesome you got sponsored a skid plate ! that's the same one Quaddingsous has I believe, supposed to be really nice. Good work ! Cheers !

I’ve had mine 10 years. Use it around the farm. Just replace the belt with 110 hrs. I do pull some weight with the machine. I agree it’s bulletproof. Just change the oil regular and zero issues. I’d like better lights too but don’t drive much at night. Great machine.

That’s the list. I have the F650CS for sale, the 98 BMW F650 that is one of my favourite bikes and was my first real bike was a restoration project and I use it for trips that include roads like your ride here. I have the WR250R as well which is just a great bike for off-road and backroad exploring. And my 2015 deal of a VStrom 650 is my main everyday commuter and long road trip bike. I got that DL650 last fall with 4,800kms on it, stock bike, for $4500 CDN. Modded it a bit for my height and got the OEM aluminum 3pcs luggage; probably will be a forever bike. Like the WRR and my old Funduro. Next bike will probably be a Road King for when the kids are out of the home and wife is willing to ride with me again.
