    I can guarantee there are hundreds of thousands of RAV4’s on the road that have never had their trans case or a differential fluid changed and they have hundreds of thousands of miles on them. I’ve read if you are towing that you should get it done occasionally.

    Only having about half a quart in the transfercase and differential is asking for trouble not changing it. While 30k might not be the maximum mileage you can get from the oil, you want to change it before you hit the maximum because your gonna do damage then. I believe the all wheel drive explorer is similar and they are having problems with them from not changing the oil. The owners manual has the change intervals and 30k is the recommended interval. It’s shorter if you tow. It’s not like there is a bunch of oil in them like older cars used to have. Also the oil was black when I drained it at 30k. It doesn’t effect me anyway what people do with their vehicle but i wouldn’t avoid this maintenance personally.

    This is a job coming up on my 04 ram 1500 and I won't remember where all the different screws go. I'll spend more time bagging and tagging screws.

    Jason; I enjoyed this video. I've got a 79 International model 1924 with a Eaton transmission that I'm having an issue with the clutch. I'd love to be able to talk to you and bounce some things around.

    Used your system on my 2018 F250 for P/S flush. Worked GREAT!! Saved me a lot of mess and time. I used a vacuum oil extractor in the plugged return line and sucked all the reservoir fluid out. Refilled with fresh Mercon LV and followed your lead. Thanks for making this video.

    I thought I was just dumb getting the torch out but I guess thats standard on these new deere designs huh? I think i'll spend a little extra time and cut the shanks off and weld some Cat ones on there.

    I have changed these again after this and they came right out. I was really surprised. I don’t know if I got lucky or if was all the never seize.

    @@JasonTheMunicipalMechanic I fought for 2 hours and an employee fought for another 4 hours to get 3 of 5 teeth off. We then loaded it up and took it to have the shanks replaced with normal backhoe pins. I can't be dropping $1,000 in labor every time we have to change teeth lol. Terrible design

    I just did one today. Siezed up more than ive seen. One was so bad I has to blow a hole through it and carefully wash it out with a torch. No shade, high 90's and high humidity added to the fun

    Was the one can that you purchase enough for both the transfer case and rear differential or you needed to purchase more? how much does it come in container ? I have a 2020 Rav4 XLE at 23k miles and I'm looking into doing this myself sometimes next year.

    Sir my x720 drive staft rear the someone before I had this and I bought it used and the rear drive shaft Greaser you can't get to it but somebody put it in there wrong I can't grease it videos of great😊

    What does that small port between the intake and exhaust ports go to? I ordered a new dryer that doesn't have threads for that port so I'm not able to hook it up.

    I have 32 inch tires on my Jeep YJ. It has no problem pulling 5th gear. Mine also has a 4 cylinder in it. If you have a problem pulling 5th gear it maybe your transmission, not the tires.

    It had 35 inch tires on it. It was better with the smaller tires.

    It is a 60 gallon husky compressor from Home Depot.

    This really saved me a lot of money I don’t have doing it myself. I followed your steps and success! I did buy a Ford hydro boost. It comes with the rod setup for the master cylinder. Only thing I had to get in addition was the O Rings - 2. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for sharing!

    This vehicle is an 06 and all parts shown were installed on this vehicle. I’m not sure which part number your referring to.

    It’s not a bad receiver. My only real complaint it the brightness at night and the dimming feature.

    So when this happened did you lose the lights in the switches as well? Mine just quit working this morning but I could got them to roll down with the key fob. Big mistake since i was 3 hours from home and had to drive the whole way with them down.

    I just had the problem with the windows and door locks. Both were corroded splices in the same area.

    Superb video, it shows that there are a few aspects of this job that will cause a slow down in the parts removal, torsion bar removal from the lower control arm being the biggest issue. "Thanks for you time"

    Thanks for the vid, it helped a lot! I didn’t pull the dash all the way out I was just replacing the top. Was able to pull it off about 4/5 inches and I was able to get to the screws underneath the topper holding onto the defrost vents. 👍 Dropping the steering column gave me anxiety tho 😂
