    hey sorry to hear about your haircut lol. but i was gonna give some technical advice, if u double ur horizontal recording resolution. and maintain the vertical on OBS, you can put ur webcam besides the gameplay, instead of it being overlayed on ur gameplay. that way, when you do those zooms on the webcam. you wont have the game in the background, and it will be at a fuller resolution. if u need a tutorial, heres a video title in quotes "How to RECORD your FACECAM and GAMEPLAY SEPERATE in OBS Studio (2023 EDITION)" if u find that video, he explains precisely what im talking about. u aint gotta do this lol, ima new viewer, just thought i'd give some insight incase it helps, you're videos are really good! and you're quite a good commentator/story teller, keep at it dude! (edit, ur webcam is in a 4:3 aspect ratio, so if u did this, there would be black borders "since u record in 16:9" so all you'd have to do is crop those out, duplicate ur video layer, crop everything out but the webcam, overlay that layer over ur gameplay, and now ur webcam is a seperate element in the editting* process, hope this helps!)

    I’m not entirely sure. I’ve heard rumors that modded lobbies can be harmful but I’m not sure in what way. However if you are playing on a series S or X I’m sure it’s fine since the console is just being emulated inside as a virtual machine. Don’t take this as 100% concrete advice though.

    As usual, Ainge has been presented as a "dirty" player. Rarely has anyone pointed out the things other players did to Ainge. All I ever saw was a man standing up for himself, and when given a dirty shot, you gave one back. Boo hoo if you don't like it. MJ was notorious for getting away with all kinds of stuff. Other players in the NBA couldn't, Ainge was one of many who took cheap shots until he had enough. Dirtiest player? Jezz, anybody heard of Bill laimber and the Detroit, dirty pistons? There were also efforts by the league to call fouls on players as they walked into the building to get dressed while they overlooked the real dirty players and just looked the other way. I still believe he's hated because he drove the length of the court and knocked note dame out of the ncaa tournament while he played at BYU. There are a lot of bigots in our country, being Israeli or a Mormon, it's like an automatic attack is on its way.

    @4:41 It always made no sense that the Lakers road uniforms absolutely looked like they were blue, on TV, yet they were as purple as purple gets in most photos, and were unmistakably purple in real life. Several years ago, I watched a video about why this was so, but can't recall the reason.

    @@GabeDavisProductions no I watched. But you can't just say something and it becomes true. I wasn't actually talking about you specifically, although I can see why you took it that way reading it back again, I was just making a general statement about how stats don't tell you everything. But even if you assume that I am talking to you, that's a hell of a way to deal with that. Spout off? Seriously? If it was me I would have replied with something like, "hey, did you watch the video? I pointed out that I wasn't talking shit about him?" Or something like that. That's just me though.

    +/- on its own is not an illustrative stat. It is helpful to see though but you need to look at it in context of other stats. Usually it synergies well with on/off stats. This way if one guy has a crazy high +/- you can look at what the team is when he's off the court. Tatum for example has a crazy high +/- but his team is still +8 on average with him off the court. Comparing the two stats is the only way to really get an idea of the player though, because on/off on its own can be inflating to players who have bad back ups. The Nuggets have never really taken back up center seriously so Jokic always looks like a God in on/off splits. So now you have the proper context for these two players so you can decide how you choose to value them. Jokic takes a team that would crater without him and makes them one of the best teams in the league. Tatum takes a really good to great team and makes them historically dominant. I am a Celtics fan so I would love to see Tatum win MVP but I think objectively he doesn't have a strong enough case. It should probably be Jokic or SGA.

  • @lukaslambs5780
    @lukaslambs57804 ай бұрын

    There are adjusted/augmented plus minus stats that are a lot better at isolating individual player value. I don’t think that it’s a bad stat but I think people don’t understand how to interpret statistics properly.
