boat sounds loud compaired to my searay.
I agree with the Barletta comparison. Barletta's fit and finish, their quieter ride, and their performance are all a notch above Bennington. Every pontoon company has a shiny object that they advertise, (Bennington has the larger elliptical middle toon, Manitou has the lowered center pontoon, Trifecta has their composite deck, and on and on). Don't get me wrong, Bennington sells a lot of toons, but McDonalds sells a lot of hamburgers. Barletta is GROWING quickly. If you ride in both, you'll like the Barletta.
The Mercs ARE the choice. Those Yamaha's are boat anchors. almost 1000 pounds each! What a slug. They keep saying quieter quieter quieter smooth, etc. they must have said quiet and smooth 10 times to avoid SLOW and HEAVY. How about true performance.. How about slow and heavy!. 3 Mercurys weigh about as much as 2 Yamaha's!! And they are slow. Imagine a twin outboard boat only doing around 50. A twin 450 equipped Trifecta or Avalon is a 75 mph boat. Of course this Bennington is larger, but it's also a big stupid boat. Big and Slow. Maybe if you needed to put 25 people on board, but if you have 12 or less people, then go for it.
I have a Barletta 23 Lusso. Twin Biminis up, two people full fuel. I have a Verado 350. I get just over 50mph. HOWEVER twin 350's cost about the same as the single 500!. You CAN put joystick of twin 500's or 450's. Bad info. That tie bar is not needed, there is NO practical use for it. A Yamaha 450 is an anchor, useless. Again, bad info. Redundancy of two motors is not a valid argument. USUALLY if you have problem with a single motor it is electrical or fuel, and it affects both. Plus these new motors are very reliable. I have a Yamaha 300, a Yamaha 150 Jet, A mercury 400 Verado, and a 350 Verdo. NEVER had a problem. Joystick is a wast of 25k. Twin counter rotating motors will turn on a dime, save the money.

How much ?
KELLY LOLA N DONNA..... HO GAME
Very Nice!...though my preference would be Merc 500's. To my ears a better sound and better performance too.
We tried those. They definitely sound cooler and had a slightly better top end but we're pretty lack luster in the mid range. These are more snappy in the 20 to 40 mph range.
@@KellysPortOnline Interesting...would not expect that with a supercharged engine...thanks for the feedback!
Gorgeous. Wow. Impressive. Taylor Any speed numbers as well as costs.
We had it doing 68mph no problem. Could of pushed it over 70 but didn't. Cost is around 400k.
@@KellysPortOnline cool thankyou. decent speeds for a 10' beam and I have had some late experience on these 450's. I have preferred mercs but am switching over to Yamaha on a GW boat I am looking at. Ill check your website out. Thank You
Id hate to see how much fuel she eats
We look at fuel in boats as the "small blind in Texas Hold 'Em". Is it cheap? No. Is it the most expensive thing you'll spend your money on? No. Is it fun. Absolutely....
Air conditioning?
Love this boat, maybe next season after the surf boat is sold.
@@dcasandman we can help with that!
I like it but want outboard engines.
@@wesleyferguson6932 called a Regal 36 XO, we are happy to help you. If you’re concerned about winterization, check out the new Volvo EasyDrain on this boat. Very cool technology
Can't find this on your webpage
@@user-yv9hk2oo5x old video - been gone for a but
What kind of lift did ya'll put on Mike's boat? I'm looking at a tritoon myself as my daughter is fully disabled. I'm looking for a stainless option as I am primarily in salt water.
I forget what kind of davit we put in there - you might research some marine application due to saltwater. If you don't come up with anything, reach out to us, see if we can get you in contact with Mike
Seems like the water has been pretty brown all season
@@kirkcorzine3721 yeah, starting to clear up a little bit now - but resembled chocolate milk for a minute with all the rain, haha
100k for a “value” tritoon? Jeeeeedus. Grab up a sun tracker from bass pro for a portion or that and still look great, have the luxury stuff and the big motor. Calm down yuppie
Truth be told - rather be in camo shooting duck or deer than khaki's, but a brother has to earn a living, right? And if you want something to compete with Bass Pro, check out the S or SX Series. Can get a quality 22' w/150 HP for $59k, or 27' with 250 HP for $79k. Better quality, damned good price, and the boats don't fall apart in rough water :)
What’s the price on something like this??
$300-400k depending upon how you spec them out - I know it's a broad range, but lots of variables - call 573-348-3888 and we can get you specifics
Beautuful and pricey.
Cool things are typically expensive - just like wife and kids...
@@KellysPortOnline actually, not exactly true. Visited The Grand Tetons a few months ago. Very cool and free.
@@REL3712 Did you get free transportation? If so, please send free ride service to the The Grand Tetons to 5250 Dude Ranch Road, Osage Beach, MO - we have 60 employees plus our 15 closest friends each. Would be cool to see some buffalo...
@@KellysPortOnline yes, as a matter of fact we did. Rode with lifelong friends who were going and invited us along. Give it up dude, you won't win this one.

I was intrigued. Then I looked up the price. No longer intrigued.
Merc 300 V8's had paint flaking off due to a bad paint process, failing starter motors because water was leaking onto them due to bad cowling design, shifter motor replacements because they are underwater and not watertight, engines falling off because of a locking ring on the steering rod was improperly installed at the factory, leaking gearcase because a locking ring was improperly installed at the factory, power trim units leaking due to poor design of the o-rings on the check valves on the bottom and of course leaking exhaust manifolds spraying salt water everywhere because the factory didn't remove the casting marks where the coupling is supposed to seal. I've seen other issues as well, but these are the most common ones. Choose Yamaha, where the only common problem is that you have to lube the lower power tilt pistons with a marine PTFE grease once a year.
It's nice to be able to sell both brands - and there are certainly positives/negatives to both - but Yamaha's reliability is legendary - even in a freshwater market like ours. Thank you for sharing.
wow! How honest!
Only way we know how to do it
With 8 people with gear n coolers 55 to 58 Max that's alot of money for that money , looks nice
Thank you!
Why don’t they have recessed cup holders like in the Harris?
Not sure we know what you mean - they have two on the helm, and another on the floor. Three cupholders makes you kind of look like an alcoholic when driving but we don't judge
@@KellysPortOnline I meant in the loungers. In the lower trim Bennington I see them but never on the higher trim models. Not for the driver. For all the passengers instead of the movable cup holders that get in the way.
@@mgirard7161 ahh, I smell what you're smoking. Yes, they're flip down arm rests on all the loungers. Maybe we should do a better job highlighting them, hahaha. In other videos, you can see them - plus, there's a full size kitchen trash can in there as well.
That wasn’t much of a view of this fabulous lily pad ladder.
Say WHAT!?!? That ladder is huge! Largest in the boat building game today. Is there another mfg that has a larger we're not aware of?
Godfrey did mine
Elegant
You just say that to all the pretty boats... ;)
What u got for a price on this 1
Q model with a 250 hanging off the back...$200k+
Question, why don’t you stock the 34LX dual console model?
Man with a wife maybe 2 smaller kids cld live comfortable on that.
I came for the boat.. stayed for the awkwardness. Don't feel bad Rob as I wouldn't have the guts to appear in a video.
It was his first boat video - we're going to get him a couple whiskey drinks to loosen up for his next video :) Hope you enjoyed the boat and thanks for watching!
What a sweetie
Awww shucks, now you made us blush ;)
That’s a pontoon yacht. 😮
Damn right, Jack - thanks for watching!
What is the top speed with the 600
That big and heavy with options, my bet is 40-ish.
Probably at or below Mach 1 - but no one cares because the sticker on the back says "600" which is probably the most important thing :)
@@REL3712 Bingo...
Rob, get excited! 600 hp!
He was nervous - it was his first video
120k?
$120k probably pays for the motor :)
That’s a nice boat

Mercury V8s sound way way better, plus the bow isn’t even outta the water on top end, it looked slow!
Nice to have all the options :)
theres space for 2 more, make it an 1800HP pontoon
Now you're talking!
600 hp pontoon boat. The peak of inefficiency!
Inefficient - but fun...
@Kelly’s port I want the Yamaha XP shifter

Sure can - call us at 573-348-3888 and happy to help!
What a waste, poor design, could have utilized that arch to support a full top not just a cover, a lot of money for a limited use boat.
There's a full bimini underneath
How much?

That little puppy just sold - check out our website at KellysPort.com - just listed a nice 2017 Benny 25 Q
185 k$--that is insane --i will buy all these boats for nothing when the market(already is) goes to nothing
If the market is already “nothing”, and these boats are consistently selling for $185k - then the obvious question is “check or credit card”? :)
Nearly bought one of these with a 300HP at the end of last season when the 2023s were at significant discounts. The only problem was the costs of out of state taxes that particular state "needed" to load up on TOP of my negotiated purchase price of an EXTRA $10K!?!?!?! Ended up buying a Barletta with a 300HP which we have been super pleased with
I assume that wasn't in our state? Missouri doesn't require sales tax at the purchase. Barletta is a decent boat, tough to beat a Benny
🔥😍👌🏼
