Out there getting some good grub. Right on!
These covers are super hyped on KZread and other social media, and perhaps they work for those applications. I went with the switchback from DB for better access to the bed, and quicker removal. My truck is lifted and I'm not a tall dude, so the front access of the HD was a no go for the reasons you just described. My cover comes next week, and I'm already thinking I should have gotten a topper instead, but that comes with its own set of considerations. It looks like the seals on your cover were not compressed enough during install and that's why it dips in the middle. Good luck on your next cover!
My family sleeps two in the hiker and two up top on the RTT. All our gear goes in a Gazelle pop up gazebo at the campsite where we can stand up to change. I store gazelle on roof between awnings and RTT. Or it can go inside hiker during travel.
That is an awesome way to do it! Thanks for sharing!
With my 5x9 Hiker Highway Deluxe and 23Zero 62 Walkabout, my family and I can go on roadtrips for several weeks. It’s absolutely awesome.
Just found your page and I love it man! Also former military, Army. Live in the Johnson County, Kansas area. Would love to link up sometime and check out some of these places. Just bought a Bronco Badlands and cant wait to start exploring! Taking our first trip this weekend.
Awesome man! Enjoy, if you need any information on SMORR let me know!
I ended up buying power the power cover from EGRUSA and I could not be happier with my decision
I could never use a bed cover like that. I use my bed to haul things, I had a Tiller in it last week. A couple weeks ago I had 30 bags of mulch in it. I have a Bakflip trifold. it is light weight, water tight, still secure, but easily flipped up to allow the entire bed to be used when needed. No tools required.
Sounds like it works great for what you use it for!
I see your point on how the front and rear lids taper towards the center. A perfect rain catch. Easy to see why it leaks. Good video very informative. Nice looking Gladiator.
Thanks 👍
Thanks for sharing your honest perspective on this thing. It sounds like it might be right for some while not right for others. All great points.
Glad it was helpful!
Cool episode! It would be great to see the install episode of the new setup!
I plan on it, I just haven't had time to unbox it and install it yet!
Thanks for your service, brother.
Thanks!
Did ours too looks great makes them pop!
I don't get the badge of honor thing. Then again, I'm not a sticker person.
Updated video posts tonight over at Proven Trail!
I enjoy watching all Jeep content, and I want to see you succeed, but if you could do me a favor.... When you make a video you got to stare into the lens, and not look at your own face on the phone, because at the beginning of this video I'm looking at you and you're talking to me, but I feel like you're looking up over my left shoulder. Eye contact is key to connecting with the audience. Maybe tear off a piece of a sticky note, one of those bright colored ones, and stick it to your phone right where the camera is, and focus on that. Keep eye contact with the audience
Thanks for the tip! I can more aware of that and give it a try!
YOU DESERVE THIS!
Thank you!
This was a great conversation. We should absolutely do more shade tree discussions.
I completely agree!
If you’re out there sweating, can you run a fan for circulation? I’m sure you can run a fan off solar or battery to increase your comfort.
Yes absolutley! I didn't have all my gear set up! I have a battery that can run a fan or heater if needed!
Thank you for this information
You are so welcome!
With having kids I’d prefer the trailer set up
It is a good setup!
Back at yee. 🎉

That Off Grid Adventure guy is cool. Nice camping setup!
Is that filmed in Oregon?
No Missouri
We should have used the microphones for the entire video. Those cicadas were in full singing mode that day.
Agreed! It was a soothing sound but after hearing it on the video I think it was a bit much! I left out the "sit around" section as I'm going to release it as it's on stand alone video!
Cool to see you on another channel.
We got you for the boys
Congratulations Jeep Monkey
I have, it’s one of the more challenging parks an off-roader will find.
Where’s the video of the actual trails?
They are sprinkled in the video!
@2:00. Nothing too challenging ? Which park were u at 🤣
At SMORR in Missouri! Southern Missouri off-road ranch!
@@JackMonkeyJeep and you didn't find anything too challenging at the entire park?
I mean there is plenty of things my rig can't do because of tire size, lift, etc! But it has everything from easy to extreme! If you're ever in the area check it out!

Jack Monkey!
We gotta hit Kansas Rocks to get a few more!
Let's go!!!
They’ve got tons of gear in there. Awesome!
The pricing was a little confusing for ALL of us. LOL! Next time let's hit Kansas Rocks Recreation Area.
I may not make it! haha...
I cant believe I caught that part on camera.... awesome times!
Towing/payload? 4,500 towing with 12,000 pay load. Does the Max trailer package increase towing to 7,000? Have the mods added weight which decreases payload? If weight was added to decrease payload, how does that effect towing capability? I'd like to pull a teardrop trailer GVWR 3,500 or a squaredrop GVWR 4,200. I want to tow 80% of tow capacity.
The max trailer package does indeed increase the towing capacity to 7000 lbs. I pull my hiker trailer and I have no issues with it. I barely even know its behind me. The accessories didnt make that big of a difference to my total weight, the bumpers were generally within 15 pounds of each other and the winch is definitely an added weight but I havent noticed any affect to the towing capacity. You should be fine to tow a tear drop behind you!
@@JackMonkeyJeep Thank you.
Congrats!🎊 😊
Looks good!
Next stop 1000!
Where did you get letters
Check out the links in the description below. Here it is: amzn.to/48AZQ8x

Is it fit well on stock rims? Thx one of great gladiator
Looks better black
Thanks!
Just wanted to correct some information that you gave that is wrong. While explaining the engine idle you claimed that the tazer mini didnt have this feature. That is false. Not only does it have it but you can trigger it on demand with a combination of 2 buttons on the steering wheel. Its also has other features with on demand with button commands. The tazer mini is more expensive but its got more features and functions than the Flashcal. You can get by with just the Flashcal for some things but me personally I prefer the tazer over anything out there. Even just for the feature of setting an alarm on the engine hood alone I chose the tazer mini. I also like the fact that you dont need any extra monitors or phones and apps to work with the tazer mini. You can see everything on the screen of the instrument panel.
Thanks for the correction!
Great episode! Tailgate would look better with a Colorado Jeep Trail badge.
It’s on my list to do!!! What’s the best time of year to go?
@@JackMonkeyJeep Pretty sure most of the trials are in the mountains, so it cooler up there. Still hot...July/August. Somewhat cooler temps September.
What does the vintage 23 mean in your logo?
vintage is a play on words, but the channel was started in november of 23... so 2023 really isnt vintage, so theres that.
@@JackMonkeyJeep very clever. Jersey approved 💪🏽
