    I’ve got Tactacams & I bought the battery packs & solar panels. Can I use all of this together? I am currently using all together and some of my Tactacam’s are not staying charged as I’d hoped. I’ve got Snyper’s with lithium batteries & solar chargers & never have issues. Any ideas?

    If you need to nock tune and you use lighted nocks, they seem to be harder to turn and index compared to a standard nock. There is a weight difference lighted vs. standard of about 20 or so grains lighted heavier. If you have a grain scale, you can weigh your lighted nock-insert combination and make an equal weight standard nock that will closely match. Take a birdshot shotgun shell and cut it open and use the shot pellets inside of the standard nock glued in with rtv adding pellets and weighing until you get a matched weight. Fishing splitshot will also work but need to be very small. End result should be a factory nock that weighs the same a your lighted nock of choice and is easier to test and tweek with.

    So sorry for your loss, Matt. Will definitely be lifting all of you up in prayer and committing you into the very capable, comforting, loving hands of Christ. I can’t tell you how many years I’ve blooded my forehead, beating it against the wall because I wanted things in my time. Once I began to pray about things and ask Christ to do them in his way, and his time, the stress level in my life changed immediately . Jesus can and will do great things through us and even though it does take time, we will understand if we get out of his way and let him do it ….. without our help lol It’s just a shame that we don’t learn these things until we’re older. I’m guessing that your grandmother was a Christian woman. If that’s the case, think about how many lives she touched and affected and reached in all of her years here. We should all be striving to hear the words, “well done, my good & faithful servant”

    It appears to me that by increasing bolt weight you are increasing the amount of energy that can be efficiently transferred from the bow to the bolt and take advantage of the huge energy dump that happens on each shot. I also believe a heavy bolt REDUCES stress on the bow limbs in terms of unused energy having to dissipate back through the bow limbs. My total arrow weight is about 610 with my setup and ( full disclosure) I am shooting a Sevr 150 mechanical with this set up. Love the content of this video guys. Appreciate you!

    You know I had one of those blinds. And I'm still got one and that blind would work really good. Probably for Turkey season or maybe early crossbow hunning in October. But it is absolutely no good november I went up north and hunted in it in november and it's like setting in front of a screen door and I just about frozen to death.

    On the sun damaged blind, you could take some fabric dye, say in a gray or light brown, and mix in pumpup sprayer and spray the blind with just enough of a coat that would allow a little bit of the patterns to come through but tone down the pinks?

    Great Video If someone has problems understanding why 5% can make a difference imagine loading a 270win to 3100fps with a 130gr bullet (standard warm load) then add 5% more velocity. That's 3255fps and there is a good chance that your going to start popping primers, or splitting cases. The crossbow is the same that last 5% of speed is at the edge, and can wreck a crossbow just like another 5% speed added to your favorite rifle load may damage your gun. (burning out a chamber throat or worse)

    I have a Burris Oracle/X. The hardest thing with it is enduring the comments from the vertical bow guys who for some reason gotta tear down xbow hunters as if we're cheating. I guess a gun is *really* cheating in their eyes. (also, the subtle background music is not needed, its distracting)

    I have a 400 fps Ravin r26 Where is the sweet spot on 400 fps I mean what is the best efficiency for that speed of crossbow?

  • @draggindeeroutdoors
    @draggindeeroutdoors10 күн бұрын

    In all reality you gotta play around and see what your bow/arrow like best. Every arrow shaft is different, each bow model has a different power curve in how it delivers energy. If you want a very ballpark answer, my swat x1 is similar in size to your r26 and has always done well with total arrow weights right around 500 grains.

  • @chrisruzsa2798

    Great video. I am happy I switched my setup a bit to going heavy. I was using medium weight for a bit at 525 grains but I find 600-610 grains is where I want the crossbow to be. The efficiency is just nice. I find though there is a huge difference between recurves and compounds now crossbow doesn’t matter they are a different beast.

    2 Tim 3:1-5 I truly believe that this is where we are. After yesterday’s event, I’m even more convinced. The question is now how many are willing to understand the salvation that comes from the death of Christ on the cross and accept him as their personal Savior. No Nation that has ever turned its back on God, which is where we are now, has ever survived God commands us to love one another as he has loved us. He also command us to pray for our leaders and to submit to those authority over us. In no case does he say that’s based on any party affiliation Tonight our Pastor started a new series in second Peter, and early on he stressed how much more time we should be spending in God‘s word, the only place we will really gain knowledge about God and Christ and the Holy Spirit. Are we spending more time in God‘s word than watching the news or is it the other way around. I’ll be the first one to admit that I get sucked into the news reels quite easily. I’m going to try to do better and gain more knowledge and true understanding.
