Idk when you recorded this but I just checked my game and death bolt still does 9dmg, I am on the beta.
Must be a couple weeks old. That bug/typo got fixed already.
Was patched a day or two later! The uploads tend to be a week or two behind the streams depending on how much I stream.
The Onlookers you kept getting might be from your floating eyes having their spells run out as they die? Not too sure.
I'd love to see a perfected version of this one on the main channel - and by that i mean one without the jar.
IT SHALL BE DONE!
@@ShakeTheBoxGaming HECK YEAH!!
I had a lot of fun with a Hemomancer/Flesh Monger build. Lumbriogenesis plus Flesh Fiend with the cast Lumbriogenesis upgrade was insane.
All the worms!
Love your Chanel ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks!
I still think graveyard is way too expensive for what it does. Ghosts come out slow, so either you need faster ghosts or cheaper graveyards
Totally agree!
I think it should cost 40
@@AiluroFelinus my latest opinion is it should cost 50, but deploy the first ghost immediately, and charge up to one ready to deploy ghost to be deployed when there’s room. I am strongly tempted to mod it, and might do that later.
@@darloth I wish I knew how to mod but I only know JS
@@AiluroFelinus it’s a lot easier to learn for Cube Chaos because it’s basically just all text files!
LMAO on realm 20, the eye beast was hit with sooo many status effects that the animation carried to the next realm
He had no idea what was going on
You're really just playing the CWO, the Chief Wizardry Officer. The CWO has two passions: CTS Reports and dead monsters. And he learned to kill with one finger. (By pointing at stuff and saying: "Yo, kill this one for me, will you?")
The wizard of delegating gets things done, so long as there are other wizards around to do those things.
"Quick, scribe, go wake the Wizard! Mordred has returned!" "At once, quickly, my Lord. Why is The Wizard the only one who can stop Mordred?" "Well he actually isn't, but he's the only one that has the other wizards' phone numbers."
BRING ME THE WIZARD OF THE CONTACT LIST!
How do you check enemy range?
Holding the letter T will show you the threat radius of whatever you are moused over - mouse over an empty tile to see overall threat radius! L for line of sight in the same way!
@@ShakeTheBoxGaming Thank you!
Dude. This was the second video of yours that I watched. When I noticed you had less than 700 subscribers, I was dumbfounded. Your videos are great, and it even inspired me to play some RW2 tonight. Keep up the fantastic work my guy! You seem like a cool guy. If you do anything collaborative, feel free to let me know, I’d love to join you.
Thanks! This channel is mostly for Stream content uploads, but I do hope to grow it! I feel like we can do some collaborative stuff over on my main channel, especially seeing as how you are Japan oriented! Been wanting to re-visit this concept for awhile: kzread.info/dash/bejne/f3aHlNeMpa_VYZs.html
@@ShakeTheBoxGaming I would be happy to do so! I haven't posted in a while, and I would like to get to playing games on my channel if possible, I do so in my down time, but haven't had much of that lately. I would be delighted to do some Japan related content with you as well! It'd be quite fun!
Man, wish i was good at Noita. I always seem to get down to the ice area or the base and then die. The wand crafting confuses me and having to start again from a mistake means I seem to just be in a loop of those same 3-4 floors.
Keep at it, you'll get there! The wand crafting takes some time, but once you get some favorite builds, you'll start to recognize the stats you want!
awesome vid man!!!!!!! keep up the good work!!!!
Thanks!
Looks more like time to uninstall chat.
Wait, you can do that?!
I am amazed by how you can find so many broken builds. It is true that this one is quite hard around the edges at the beginning, but once you get infinite wall, it just became an autopilot run. Let's say that around floor 10 I had everything I needed and just got more skill because I could.
Yeah, once you have the infinite wall, it becomes a win-more run and you take whatever the hell ya want!
is there a time stamp for mammon?
kzread.info/dash/bejne/foyeyKywfJOTf7A.htmlsi=0slqmGRxuJfVkmDN&t=2180 There ya go!
I haven't been able to get an eye build to stick. Should be fun to watch where you go with it
As someone who has yet to *win* with an eye build, I feel ya.
this looks great. I enjoyed your voices!
Yeah, very excited for this game! Glad you enjoy my terrible voices!
Do you think there is a way to make lightning spires a viable part of a build? They seems very powerful early-game but seem to fall off the power-scale quite quickly.
I like them for base defense with stuff like Spike Ball Factory, but I'll mess around with them!
@@ShakeTheBoxGaming Ah, I came back to copy the question under your newest RW2 video, but now I see that you already answered it. Lightning spire and Spike Ball Factory sounds like a fun combo indeed! I'll give this a try on my own!
Turn Rift Wizard 2 into an RTS with these two simple spells!
I went down into that tunnel..... thought hey Shake the Box Gaming did it, maybe that's a good thing to do before leaving Joppa. Got myself Ironshank. All my leg joints fused together as my entire leg turned into a calcified pole. Now I'm hobbling around looking for oil to make a cure. Thanks bud :D
Don't worry, I get Ironshank in solidarity later in the run =D
@@ShakeTheBoxGamingi hope so, I went up to the asphalt mines to look for oil. Didn’t find any and instead got jumped by a bunch of crusaders that thought it’s still medieval Europe. At least one of them gave me a hoversled.
I'm struggling with making it past lvl 3 😂
You'll get there, keep plugging away!
I like the idea of not being able to spam turrets, but this game needs the delivery times to be cut down massively. This just looked painful to play
Yeah, I hear it's balancing things still, so I'll pop back in after awhile and see!
Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching!
I do like rain of fire
It's a fun spell!
yay more rift wizard
More on the way, but Elden Ring DLC will cause some slowdown in other stuff because I am a hopeless addict!
I've spent a significant portion of time trying to find the playlist you are using for ur rift wizard vids, i remember you mentioning the name a few times but i couldn't remember the episode. So now I'm here asking directly, who does that wonderful RW-esk music?!?! Cheers!
Its a mix of the Rift Wizard 2 soundtrack and the Nitro Kid soundtrack!
Thank you so much!!!!
He got unlucky
I love every Qud series of yours they’re awesome thank you!
Glad you enjoy! This has been a fun run so far!
This was pretty silly
Hey! Only serious magics here!
I really dislike that word of ice is conditional when word of chaos simply stuns everything, albeit with a teleport
I imagine it's largely for keeping Ice Tap balanced!
@@ShakeTheBoxGaming almost certainly that's it, but I think 50% would be more usable on burlier enemies.
Pretty sure the arcane damage over time and the brain worm infection are two different things for the psychic seedling even though it's one upgrade. Even if the damage wears off, the infection and tree on death will still happen. If you carefully read the description of the spell, it never mentions that the tree only happens if the unit dies while the arcane poison is still happening.
Wizard knowledge
Yeah, by the end I was pretty sure of that thanks to large health pool bosses spawning trees - but for 99% of the run I wasn't toooo sure. Good Wizard Head on yer shoulders!
The way I pass the turn with XTurbo on is clicking on the wizard. That way I ensure it passes exactly one turn. I always play on XTurbo and hitting space (or 5 I guess should be the same) as you said may pass several turns instead of just one. About the run, it looked great so I tried it. It was just a powertrip from the moment I got arcane orb to the mordred fight. I went with every orb, I had them between 3 and 7, so I cycled between them like the brain-dead strategy it was, and it just worked. The only mental effort I allowed myself was always choosing an open level regardless of the reward, so I ended up with 4 portal keys before Mordred.
See, that exemplifies the pondering of the orbs right there! No thought, only orb pondering! Wish those portal keys could do something on the last floor!
Why you never take Arcane Crossfire for your Magic Missile? Also, is the Fae run ever gonna come on KZread?
I've taken it a few times, but I generally prefer spreading damage out - Arcane Crossfire means having multiple magic missiles hit the same target, but crossfire lets me hit multiple enemies! Just personal preference. I still need to put something like that together!
I'm from Chicago. Malört tastes like pencil shavings and sadness. It's in every liquor store and yet most folks I know just use it to gross out people from out of town.
If pencils used an old grapefruit's skin as a graveyard and you bottled the runoff from a bad day of rain - that is Malort!
what game were you discussing at 13:35 talking about MUDS and losing letters from your name when you take damage?
Cryptmaster!
with the bone shambler sigil mass suspend mortality would be great
Forever friends, and lots of them
Is there a difference with yellow books vs light blue or white books other than 'value'?
Yellow books are not random - they always tell a coherent story, have lore, explain something, or have instructions in them like how to cure illnesses you may catch! White are totally random gibberish text - just worth selling or trading in for XP at 6DS! Green is cookbooks with recipes you can learn! I think blue is just a modifier like illuminated and such? If it looks like gibberish inside you know it's one of the random ones. Although some random books can secretly contain information about a quest in the game if I recall, but very much random!
@@ShakeTheBoxGaming thanks I didn't know that. 😁
YOU DUMMY!! you had the option for ugly curse doll early on and didnt take it.
Have you tried: Wall of Ice -> Suspend Mortality -> Mass Calcification -> Necrostasis and then your lightning spells of choice? To be fair, you don't need it on a IceWall Mass Calcification build, but it's still funny to get 280 damage ion tides rolling
This sounds like a run for me!
Imagine evoke savagery and melting armor for the flies
Then just punching everyone and their -1,000 phys resist
How is this materially different than Rift Wizard 1?
One upgrade per spell, choosing between health and equipment/pets/free spells and perks, restoration of spells and health on each floor allows for health as a resource plays, new spells/perks. It's very much an evolution on the first game rather than a departure, plus it's being built on the bones of the first - so similar, but plays different enough to be satisfying for me!
Who up pondering they orbs rn
Every night
The second version of the beta exclusive to backers is out
Oooh, have you played it at all?
I am the one who ponders! I am the king of all things spherical and as I gaze into the depth of the orb, I am reminded of their grace, their power, and all their majesty packed into a π r³ shape. Join me, brethren, and ponder that which gives us life and contemplate the orbs in your life. Forget not that we, mere insubstantial beings, life comfortably on the orb of earth.
This man knows his orbs!
Have you played DDSS? It's much like this. Probably not quite as large or random.
I don't think so! Unless you meant to write DCSS, which yes!
@ShakeTheBoxGaming yes it was a typo. Dungeon crawl stone soup. Yes CoQ seems alot like that. I think the one aspect it's doesn't have is the natural progression for skills. Meaning the more you use something like 1h the faster it goes up or more xp gets shifted to it.
DCSS is great! I do like it's aptitude system, growing based on what you actually do is nice. I think of DCSS as kind of a midpoint between CoQ and Rift Wizard - it's larger dungeons with interconnected floors and line of sight, but entirely combat focused!
lol grilled cheese vs. melt was gold :D
I have these talks with people way more than is healthy
Love it when an infinite damage loop build comes online
Meee tooooo
Ugh itchy eyes are the WORST. Godspeed, and I hope it doesn't last too long.
Allergies strike hard and without warning for me!
No num_targets on razorshaping? How lame!
Silver Spear is a strong spell with loads of synergies. Just had a go at this theme myself, ended up with blastmaker (which is funny but probably OP) and living ember so almost a pet build... except I also got 3 disks and master of space so killed most of my own units with huge AOE. For the way your run went, I think your early idea of Fire Lord to boost Immolate would have been good. It boosts the damage of Prince of Ruin, and you could also have taken Fiery Judgement to get more Holy damage off Immolate. That could have gotten even sillier if you'd taken the Goldice(?) cap. Maybe not for the specific run, but Storm Caller could be a good synergy with all the lightning AOE coming from Silver Spear.
Lots of fun options for spear, yeah!
