  You need to remember that scurmer and new yubel alone in hand is full combo. You ns it and link it for the salad link then ss from hand and add the continuous. Lol this deck is unfair.

  It's both depressing and funny that you can drop below the 1500 baseline. With this system in place, maybe they'll have better monthly data to go off of for future banlists and we won't get nothing burger meme lists as often. Copeful thinking, I know, but seeing the top performing decks every month vs just everything that makes it to Masters or M1 and their winrates seems to me like that should produce more refined information.

  It's crazy that with the right hand Yubel has the ability to make a monster negate without even triggering a chain and with no draw back to using it. Instant protection from most hand traps with only draw phase and standby being windows to do something preemptively.

  Rated duels suck. I played a few and just gave up, the fact that I have to go uber tryhard for no reward at all does not sit well with me. One of the things I like about reaching master one other than receiving my rewards, is playing fun decks because you cant be deranked.

  Idk would you be happier if they add an option to let you choose if you want to compete in rated or not when you get to master 1? There probably won't be that many players left in the unrated master 1 pool after you split it up.

  I mean, nobody should recommend Yugioh to new players. Maybe Master Duel, but not the game. He isn't damaging the image of the game, Konami is. If your game is expensive as f, the balance of the game is horrible, the hygiene of the players is terrible (seriously, was your azz), etc. Also Joshua is coping. You don't like it, because you can't except the game is in an awfull state.

  I was a board breaker advocate since snake eye came out. I just dont think that hand traps are sufficient, because the deck can play through, go full combo, and you just handlooped yourself with 2. The difference between snake eye and yubel (other than the number of starters and extenders) that if you hand trap a yubel in a right spot, like imperming beckoning beast, imperming yama, or ghost ogre one of the continous spell, even if they have the right extender, it still makes a weaker board. They can't search squirmer, they cant revive 2 lvl10 bodies, so no varudras, they can't search sharvara, so doesnt have access to the trap. But if you hand trap a snake eye deck, and they play through, they make the same endboard like if nothing happened. And that's a major difference, and that's why i think board breakers is the way to go. The only thing that may change it are the multcharmy cars, because you can draw into multiple hand traps. But it would be a terrible coinflip, "better you have it" situation.

  the issue is, are board breakers even enough? reason why i heard people shifted off of board breakers was that they were not enough against the last couple of released meta decks. insane recursion while most good board breakers extend the game by 2 turns (evenly and dark ruler). not to mention, there's a couple of insta lose decks on the loose on which board breakers dont work, the ftk dark world and gimmick puppet.

  1 board breaker is not enough, but the same is true for hand traps. But if you have only 1 non engine in your hand, you would rarher see a talent or a droplet instead of 1 ash blossom. And against the cheezy decks, you have to side droll.

  the issue with the XYZ cup is the lack of a real banlist. most Xyz decks also want link monsters and even fusion monsters. springans, liralusc, raid raptor, phantom knight, galaxy/photon, etc... all really want other summoning mechanics. they only touched 4 main deck cards and rather inconsequential ones. labrynth is basically the best thing you can do, which is lame. and horus is well... ig you can call it 8 axis, but it's just large man beatdown, which many xyz decks actually do struggle with. all this on top of the roach still being here makes it a rather miserable experience for anyone trying to Play an xyz deck not named purrely or kashtira.

  Raizeol Shark almost cooked Snake-Eyes going 2nd and without Dweller they had everything to. I almost ran them out effects they only had 1 left. But then I got smashed. At least I now know that if Apallousa and Beatrice gets banned Snake-Eyes won't be top dog anymore and thats even with Fiendsmith. Even if Original isn't banned if Apallousa and Beatrice are they'll be outgassed by Raizeol and find themselves at the mercy of cards like Dragoon an Expurrely Noir. Anything with destruction protection if you can deal with S:P will be annihilated. They won't have a going 2nd board. This makes me think that Raizeol Runick might be good all the deck thining is free real estate.

  Outside of decks that have a lot of room for non-engine Azamina doesn't really have a home yet. If Konami bans Original I can see a world where they make Stratos that searches for Sinful Spoils or Azamina spells and can be special summoned for free under certain conditions. Having another that can only be normal summoned on top of it would be good to. This would help Azamina make the lv.8 and give Deception more monsters to tribute. A Sinful Spoils continuous spell that allows you to fusion summon once per turn during either turn and Shuffle back cards like Raidraptors Roost as the 2nd effect would be good. This woukd make Sol better and make fusion summoning Mu and tributing it for Deception a little bit better because then your not relying on 1 monster for interruptions. I'm not going to say Red-Eyes is bad because with Bystials they are still kinda good. However I think you would still need Branded Fusion as s backup. But Red-Eyes demonstrates how having 1 monster for guaranteed interruptions and relying on hand traps for extra interruptions is garbage.

  1:40:20 also we had tear for way shorter time POTE came out in August 2022 - but Tear wasnt Tier 0, Spright for example was as powerful at least - but sure Tear was more popular if I remember correctly - mostly due to people knowing that with the Ishzu cards which released 3 months later in November, the deck would be Tier 0; then in Feburary 13? 16? of 2023 Kit got banned and the rest limited... So 3 Months as a strong Tier 1 deck - and 3.5 Months as a Tier 0 deck... For example - Kash came out a week before or so with Photon Hypernova - and well was Tier 0.5 effectively after the Banlist - with Mindhacker and 3 Arisehearts till the ban and limit in late Mai or June - and then the death* of the deck with the Ban in september - giving them ~7 months of Tier 0/0.5 power, while being a way more toxic deck. Just saying Tear was just there for a second, while we had to endure stun format and now handtrap format for much longer - snake eye releases in well Duelist Nexus (subversion only) but ok lets be fair, Age of Overlord - last Oktober... now 9 months ago(10months when its gets banned), and instead of getting weaker like Kash at least - this deck gets stronger every couple months with new support - like Bonfire or SnakeEyeDiablestar and now FS... in short free Kit and ban cringe Fire deck - thank you for your time.
