I started washing back in 1991 and I have used chemicals all my life. If it’s on the market I have used it a lot or bought it and tried it. I turn 50 year old on October 29th this year 2024 and I’m paying for it my lungs look like I’m in my 90s . Next month I have to start going to therapy and they told me really there is nothing they can really do except a lung transplant and that’s not happening. I could go on Mr Bee . For you and your helpers and all you young men starting this business please listen to me and wear a respirator . whats the percent your spraying out? Im assuming about 4%? also I know houses only need about 1% sprayed on them but I dont understand if you don,t mind helping me but how does the overspray that gets on the house while spraying the roof not get effected by that hot mix? Thanks! Like if roofs need a really hot mix to kill mold but houses dont how is the house not being effected by the overspray if that makes sense.
@bumblebeepressurewashing6158 ай бұрын
Thanks for the question.. so I like to go about 5% minimum. That will save you time and money. Go weaker and you’ll actually end up using more chems by the end of it because of the multiple applications. And we use our Bumblebee surfactant as an additive in our mix. It helps reduce the chances of spotting and helps the chems cling to the roof better also saving you time and money. And we wet everything from the beginning to the end. Keep it wet. Don’t let it dry. Safer to do with two people but I also did it by myself for years so it’s doable. And lastly, just to save you from sounding uninformed in front of a customer.. it’s technically algae, not mold.
