Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
As a biomedical sciences and enterprise major would you say i can do this as well? I see that you made your own firm, but that feels scary for me😅. Would I be able to join a firm as well and be a health care consultant?
True story!! Thanks for sharing ~ great reminder.
Thank you very much for the video. As I have already said in another video to work in a “consulting firm” require strong math, statist field. People study nursing, or healthcare management have another skills (Che the program of people study business, finance, data analytic, economic) in healthcare management degree you have just one module in finance how can you get into a “consulting firm” ? I think is complete another job
I am still not understanding over one side to be a consultant you need a strong math skills over another side you need healthcare management skills, consulting firm in healthcare pretend math skills in business data analyst, how can you be healthcare strategy consultant if you never study business or finance? The pathway in healthcare management degree is quite different than study business which requires strong math skills as nurse how can you moved into management consulting? That’s what I still trying to undersrand
Hi, Mai I have your email id pls
Excellent presentation ❤
@@BecomingDrVanessa Thank you! Working on updated content for you in Q3 😍
Some great points. Thanks for the encouragement!
You’re very welcome!
Tell them again. I have a BSN with a few MPH credits. I have worked as a staff RN in critical, program manager, department manager, consultant, senior leadership advisor and I currently work for the hospital director. My work ethic is on one. Gain the knowledge and experience and stop thinking a degree is the end all be all. What is a degree without the experience. I have competed with DNPs for positions and got them due to my skills and expertise. AGAIN, GAIN THE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE AND STOP THINKING A DEGREE IS THE END ALL BE ALL!
Can I pursue this after a bachelors in Statistics? Great video btw love how you are so thorough :)
needed to hear that
Anytime ✨
What would be my next steps if I want to be a healthcare consultant, and I am just getting out of college?
I would suggest getting experience first. Insurance companies, for instance, are great because you gain exposure to different areas. Best of luck to you 🩷
I very much enjoy your content. New subscriber 😃
Thank you so much! Super excited to share new content with you! ❤❤❤
Very good info. I learned about 10K and annual reports while getting my MBA as well. I forgot how helpful they can be.

I am enrolled in a course called project management tools which is lean6sigma. I realised even before watching this video that it will help with the healthcare consultancy job
I missed this one, my name is Charlene and I am from Elk Grove Ca and I am early retiring July and then launching a consultant business
I missed this and I have notifications on? How is that? Ugggh! Oh well. This was great.
Annual reports, yes but not 10K. I work with smaller practices. I would love to learn more
Smaller practices need a lot of help. In fact, they are willing to outsource the work to you. Most smaller practices will require you to connect directly with the decision maker.

Hello
It has always been a dream to work abroad as a healthcare consultant, thank you for sharing this information.
I never heard of 'Press Gaming' (@35:16) so I Googled it and it came back with results on press for the gaming industry. Nothing to do with consulting or health care. Can the consultant consult me on that?
I don’t understand 🙃 I don’t live in FL but I thought they already did this at hospitals…
Everyone wants someone with years of experience but no one wants to invest in eager new graduates to teach them the ropes..
If I could start over I would have gotten my experience as soon as I started working as a new grad. Start solving problems at your place of work. It will all come together.
Glad to find your channel... As a Respiratory Therapist...
RT here as well.
Hi Elle! I am finishing my master's degree in Healthcare Administration, and I think the Lean Six Sigma certification will be the next step after graduation this summer! I am very interested in learning more about healthcare consulting.
PBMs not PMBs. Its important to let the experts speak on subjects you may not be familiar with so you don’t look like you don’t know what you’re talking about and just selling a dream.
