Love that thick gesso background. The texture is awesome. Thank you for sharing Nina
I want a 30-minute version, at least.
@@itsunclericky3478 lol
Coyote.
@@roxstar3726 I should have put my hand down for a size reference. This print was HUGE. Our neighbors have Great Pyrenees dogs that the let roam. I think it was a dog because of those two reasons. Plus the inside pad was more wide side to side and generally coyotes are narrow and tall. Thanks for commenting.
Love the colours that you have used in the background, great use of the prompts. Thank you for sharing Nina
@@deenaotway7717 😃Thank you.
Very informative video. Thank you.❤
@@libbydale9617 you are welcome.
@NinaFickettDesigns I have a question. When doing sculpture paste, marble dust and acrylic paint mix, is it advisable to add some form of craft glue to ensure adhesion to a canvas?
@@libbydale9617 I don’t think so because I feel like the acrylic paint in that gives it enough of an adhesion
@@NinaFickettDesigns Thank you. I really appreciate the feedback.
@@libbydale9617 of course 👍🏻
Love that texture paste through the lace, awesome result. Thank you for sharing Nina
@@deenaotway7717 thanks Deena, I love how the lace was with the left over paste. I want to experiment with that further.
Unfortunately, I had many prints made at Staples that I planned to use for transferring onto paper, wood or canvas. I hope I could use them. I hope they work. I may have to try a different method.
You can use the Powertex Powerprint with no issues.
I really like how this one turned out!
Thank you

Love all that grunge, great card thank you for sharing Nina
Great review. Super useful. I appreciate how you took the time to consider various preferences.
Carla, I’m so glad it was useful for you. I remember how much I struggled to discover how to use the mediums but first you had to weed through all the product brands to find THE one that would work for your specific needs/wants. This was my motivation in this series. 🫶
I love birds too,I feed hummingbirds every spring to fall!

Hello
Love that green and gold background, awesome card Nina, thank you for sharing
This worked out so beautifully! And, I'm glad you found a way to work with a couple of prompts that weren't quite inspiring at first. Yay.
Awesome texture and great use of the prompts, thank you for sharing Nina
Can’t go wrong with paynes grey, goes with everything. Great spread thank you for sharing Nina
I agree completely. Payne’s grey made me start to like blues.
Fabulous image for that background. Thank you for sharing Asia
As usual…I love all that texture!❤
Thank you, you know it’s my thing.
Nina, I don’t see the videos you mention attached in the upper corners of your video, or in the description section. I may be overlooking it though. I would be interested in how to make those three items, especially the glass bead gel. Thank you!
The diy videos are also in the mixed media basics playlist.
Golden 5:49 “Decreases gloss“-that’s interesting. Hi, like you, I am not a fan of glossy Appearance. I love Brutus Monroe and some Australian brands of paper/card stock, but they’re all glossy. I’m sure it’s the way they’re manufactured but I’m just not a fan of them so I have never bought any.
Thank you. Although I own the Tim Holtz distress oxides, I rarely use them because I don’t like the appearance that Tim had them made for! I prefer the distress inks. I plan to experiment with the distress inks. I am pretty bad about purchasing things and not using them. So I have both kinds of crackles/texture paste that you tested! I think I played with the crackle paste when it first came out, but that really isn’t my thing. I’m trying to branch out more now.
I find that experimentation and finding what look I like is a wealthy and worthwhile endeavor. Plus it’s so much fun.
