Rubber Duck Off Road Garage

Welcome to Rubber Duck Off Road Garage. My name is Grant.

I like to work on Jeeps and other thing in the garage. I will try to show you thing that I am doing to my Jeeps and thing I have learned about them. The best thing about having an off road vehicle is the adventure it takes you on.

Man! How has this cover been holding up after a year of trying to work it down that windshield with the light bar mount on? Just curious cause you looked like you were struggling with it to bring it down. Would like an update on it. Looking to get one for my son's Jeep.

I started just going over the light bar, and it still works. The cove is holding up very well. I will do an update sort this weekend if I get time.

Hey Grant .. I've got the same Gladiator as you ... same color too :) ... I've also installed the same Rock Slide Engineering steps on mine. I do have some issues too. Driver side seems to rattle ... I'm assuming I'll need to take apart to see what's loose. Also, sometimes the step seems wobbly ... on my passenger side, it will sometimes not deploy when door is opened. Shutting the door and reopening seems to fix that. I've had for about the same amount of time ... I think mine are Gen 3 too Joe

Thanks. Time to do mine. I’ve been reading about the high pressure Bosch fuel pump failures (CP4) which sounds like a total nightmare. The takeaway is that very thorough priming after a filter change is essential, as air in the fuel damages the pump. Also, NEVER EVER run out of fuel.
