Very biblical.. That is what is important..staying along the word of God in every conduct and practice.. No other reason and excuses but to follow what is instructed in the word of God.. Just following the instruction as explicitly commanded in God's word, even in giving..2 Cor. Ch.8 & Ch.9.. Can i ask if there is any congregation in our country that even submit to this biblical teaching in giving? I remain until this day unable to find one congregation in this country that does not practice tithing. It is so sad that i know in my heart some of these church leaders know God's instruction biblically but they ride the bandwagon of this tithing. I would state so far as to say that any so-called church that violates in this issue of giving is already portraying a red flag to be inconsistent even in some of their hidden distinctive practices against some more essential christian doctrines, in some, i would surmise..as evidently exposed recently in the double lives of church leaders recently.. Evidently in the surface they are of course putting forward in the open the usual common Christian church doctrines that are truly Christian in most cases, but when it regards giving, in this they fall miserably, opening hidden doors for double lives ..so sad.. God intends biblical teaching without making intentional swerve and make excuse by using human reasoning to thwart truth. May your message bring purity to the true church of God, of Christ.. Pls. post Philippine congregations in our country in key cities that are not practicing tithing but are first giving themselves to God and so they are able to give generously and bountifully as they have determined in their heart without compulsion (from church leaders).. 2 Cor. 8 & 9 Sincerely..

It is not possible to tithe nor is it possible to give to the church anything material. It is not possible for man to start a church. It is not possible for man to name a church even if it is a biblical sounding name. It is not possible for man to build a church. It is not even possible for man to attend a church or go to church in the flesh. Jesus Christ is building His Church Heb 12:23 in heaven and we can be added to them only in Spirit and truth. All earthly denominations and cults are just men running businesses. God commands His people to come out of that. The commandment is to Love one another in the faith as He loved those He raised from the dead - the Heb 12:23 church in heaven. They are the New Jerusalem and they are coming back with Christ for those who believe the Testimony. Those who are not rebirthed will be His enemies. Many today come in Christ's name and deceive many. They worship the creation rather than the Creator.

Should you pay tithes? You can PAY to whomever whatever you purpose. The problem comes in when men claiming God's authority try to compel you to pay a tithe to them for their "service". There is no such thing as a "tithe" today. If you purpose to "give' a man 10% of your income that's your choice, but God does not require you to tithe. Giving to those less fortunate is the New Covenant teaching.

I am a supporter of your channel. I have been a Christian all my life by religion but just recently surrendered my life to Christ. I have no permanent Church as I have not found a Church yet that I can attend regularly. I am still praying for this. My husband and I have been living apart for the past 10 years. He was a womanizer, physically abusive, verbally abusive and has threatened to kill me several times. He also got a woman pregnant in our first year of Marriage. I forgave him each time and worked out our marriage even though he was not fulfilling his duties as a husband. He would deprive me of sex and say that he finds me fat, unattractive and undisciplined. He would suggest all the time to manage our finances and accuse me of an unsubmissive wife if I don't do as he asks. All throughout our marriage I was the only one providing financially for our needs. My husband left our home on our 3rd year of marriage and after awhile he attempted to reconcile with me. I entertained his attempt to reconcile but I could see that there was no attempt to change his ways. I too in my mind considered to be with someone else but never pushed through with my feelings. He had girlfriends and was still verbally abusive towards me. Since we don't have divorce here in the Philippines - we decided to live apart. We considered each other as single people and no longer tied to each other. We both wanted to be divorced but could not settle it as there is no divorce in the Philippines. I am a minimum wage earner and only the Elite can afford an annulment. My ex husband is in and out of jobs and he cannot afford to file for an annulment too. We attempted to co parent but he completely refused to provide for our daughter. He completely abandoned me and my daughter for the last 8 years and refused to help in raising our daughter. I moved on and after 6 years of being separated from my husband I engaged in a new relationship. Recently I became a believer, ended my relationship as it was adulterous and attempted to contact my husband to talk about fixing our marriage. I found out that he is now a Muslim and has a new family. My family and I tried to reach out to him but he would block us in every platform or communication channel. I don't know where he lives. I don't know his friends ( he was secretive about them) The last message he sent to my aunt is - just send me the annulment papers and I'll sign it. My husband refuses to file for an annulment as it would cost him money and because he is now a Muslim - he is permitted to have a second wife. The Churches here in the Philippines have conflicting views about separation. I am not the only Filipina who lives apart from their husbands due to the same reasons. I don't know where I stand. I don't know how to move on as I can't legally buy any property without his consent and I don't know how to position our predicament because it has been years and he has moved on with a new religion and family. I have repented and been praying to God to give me clarity over my situation. I have forgiven my husband but I am afraid of him and I no longer want to suffer what I suffered with him while we were still living together. My husband is unrepentant and does not care anymore about my peace, my daughter and our marriage. I want to be right with God.
